Artemis and Leo are both bisexuals, they're together actually! While Sei is still questioning (possibly asexual).

Artemis (the girl with long hair) prefer someone who's comfortable with silence and doesn't occasionally crack jokes just to get a reaction out of her. Essentially someone calm.

Leo prefer someone who can take social cues and aren't weighted down by anxiety or heavy self consciousness. Basically someone rational, kind of?

Sei is a gremlin who lives in a cave and is basically married to his research, so if someone take interest in him romantically he'd definitely would prefer someone who's willing to take care of a cave gremlin like he is while getting unconditional love in return.

Though Artemis and Leo are both heavily protective of him. Sei doesn't commit much on romantic stuff but when he do, they want him to commit to someone who would smack him back to his sense should it ever comes down to it.

me trying to explain to my friends that, yes, it is completely okay for queer people to have classic “teenage dating moments” when they’re long past their teen years and that that’s acceptable and respectable and that would be completely okay for me to have but sometimes, sometimes, i just want to be able to live those “teenage dating moments” in my teens and i can’t because of my queer and trans self living in a homophobic and transphobic household
