#size reference for british people#i'd appreciate constructive criticism btw. if anyone is reading the tags and has something to say#i spent so long staring at it that i'm now kind of blind to what it looks like at first glance#realistic? wonky? shit? u tell me#embroidery#i'm going to keep staring at it until i find imperfections (of which there are many) to fix#then maybe shove it on a notebook#idk. i have a problem with doing this and then letting them gather dust#the other day i found an a4 portrait of aziraphale from my brief good om//ens days. just hanging out in the back of my wardrobe#it's unfinished#his portrait is done but i was adding some decorative eyes in silver and blue (down the side)#realised i own copper thread because i was going to add crowley to the collection but alas#my attention span is mediocre#anyway. deer skull#my mum thinks it's creepy

Seeing you show off that deer antler brought back some memories for me, I had a dog that used to run off and when she'd come back she'd always bring back the oddest shit
A whole, detached deer leg
A completely cleaned cow skull that, while I did live right next to a cow field, it still horrifies me to this day how it was cleaned not by her but obviously by a person
An entire unbroken pair of antlers, again how the fuck-
And Mystery™ meat that not I nor my mother could identify, and we prayed that it didn't come from a corpse
But yeah just wanted to share a bit of that, hope you find a nice place for those antlers!

Ive made a proton pack, a steampunk gun, 2012 Casey Jones' mask and Poe Damerons helmet for Halloween & im in the planning stages for makin beacon from TAZ: Amnesty hehehe
I really really enjoy the process of finding the stuff for it and puttinf it all together and painting it and then just like... help, i went on storygraph bc i heard it was better than goodreads, searched one of my fave childhood books, and i went to the reviews bc i assumed ppl would be smarter than me, and put good/bad things abt the book into words, but ,god, so many of them really are just like "book about deer." its like my mom discovering im reading the warriors cats books in the 2nd grade being like "wow! a book about...cats?!" killing me. like, yes, the book is about deer, what else?!?!
#personal#comparing it to HARRY POTTER?!?!#THESE ARENT EVEN REVIEWS. AND BARELY SUMMARIES#it made me sad :(#anyways all i remember was the villain hid the skull of a human infant on some island and it was significant for some reason#like that was an endgame revelation. i think he wanted a ton of character dead but for some reason its worse w a human baby#also the deer doesnt die at the end unlike larka#oh and oh my god it has one of my favorite chapters ever called the wolf#and the chapters have little quotes from diff books and that one had the fly!! by william blake#when i played prey i read all the lore pages and the ONLY real life text in that game had the fly#and i was like !!!#like... idk im not smart enough to say why but i love it so much. ive always been obsessed w that chapter and never forgot it#the sight/fell is the spiritual successor to fire bringer and those are about wolves#this one absolutely is not about wolves. but the chapter is#its just good. idk why
