What are some tips you have for drawing chubby characters? I have a lot of trouble doing it and I want to draw my characters’ body types accurately. You draw bodies so well, I’d love to have your talent!
please excuse me for taking a while to answer!! I appreciate that you love how i draw fat characters <333 I wasn't sure if like... i wanted to do a verbal explanation or have a whole tutorial, but i doodled a few examples anyway!
fat is affected by gravity, so areas of substantial fat appear weighed down by it (most of the time- everyone is different). it's also good to practice double chins, which are very easy to draw once you drop the need to give everyone a defined jawline
think round! fat is round and sometimes a little squarish around the pelvic region
the main things i can suggest are to not be afraid to draw people Wide. don't be surprised that you can draw characters wider than u think, and even wider than that! there are endless kinds of chubby and fat body typs to draw and see
o also, chubby and fat people tend to not have visible collar bones. another thing i suggest is to fill ur social media feed with fat liberation blogs or just fat-friendly blogs that have a lot of irl photos of larger people. that'll help build ur mental library, and it'll show u the beauty of human diversity for ur palette!!

We were thinking that we should introduce a spoiler free way for people who are starting to watch season 2 on the BBC to interact with the campaign on Twitter. One other thing that’s coming up later in February is that Chxrlotte on our UK crew will be releasing an Our Flag Means Death inspired track on her label on 24 February! She has a ton of gorgeous tracks that are often inspired by shows like OFMD and Good Omens, and the new one is about Ed and Stede. I’ve had a preview of the new track and it’ll make you cry!

5 Things I wished I knew as A Beginner Witch (Reflecting on 5 years of being a Witch)
Hey y’all! Welcome to the Glamour Witch Bitch blog. Today I was doing a bit of reflection in my now 5ish of being a Witch. So I thought, why not share some things I wish I knew as a beginner. So here we are, stay tuned.
1. Discernment.
Yes, I admittedly started to want to become a witch and began learning from admittedly tumblrblogs and witch tok. While there is a lot of amazing creators who have good intentions, it’s always imperative to do your own research. Some books I’ve read that I’ve found very helpful so far is Entering Hecates Garden by Cyndi Brannan, Cunningham’s Encyclopedia of Magical Herbals, The Green Witch’s Herbal Coloring Book, and Spellbound by Chaweon Koo. Some useful online resources that I like are Witchipedia.
2. Consistency
Doing one small thing magically consistently such as mirror work, money/prosperity bowls, manifestation (if you count that as magic) or a daily incense blend or herbal tea blend with intention, is much more powerful than one really large spell like once a in a while. It might even add more oomph to when to do you very large and heavy spells.
3. Shadow Work is SO Important.
Yep, I and probably hundreds if not thousands have said this. Doing the inner work will take you so much farther than any spell work. How can you expect a spell to be successful when internally you are always doubting yourself on some level. Hell, I even consider my therapy sessions and visits to my psychiatrist shadow work on some level. There’s so much resources on it now too; literally just google “Shadow Work Prompts” and you have thousands ideas given to you for free. I would like to eventually post a glamour prompt list soon.
4. Make Your Spells Rhyme
Yep, just like how it is in the movies and tv. Making poetry out of your spells and adding some rhythm just gives it a bit of oomph you know? Plus it’s fun and makes it so much easier to remember.
5. You Have to Actually Speak to Your Herbs
Tbh the fact that I didn’t realize this much sooner is a bit embarrassing on my part, but yes when using your herbs and other tools you actually have to speak intention over them and thank them for their work.

Sorry for mentally ill thoughts this evening but I've always wondered how this is going to end. To me, welcome home has been a story about changing. And because of a certain music artist's album and WHs popularity being around the same time, I can't let go of my interpretation of what change will look like at the end of this project. (1/?)
(2/?) I've always found what characters a fandom gets attached to QUICKLY to be a marker of what a story is going to do with these characters and what metatexually that is gonna mean for the story...
Let's start with the big one: Wally himself. THIS GUY HAS SO many interpretations! He is simultaneously the most dangerous and fascinating character out of all of them. To analyze him (and some of the neighbors I'll talk about) I used tarot cards, btw I'm @pretty-in-possible but this is my reblog alt
Wally was Judgement which is intresting because its definition includes
When The judgement is in the upright position, it represents the realization of one's calling, realistic thinking and gaining a deep understanding of life through self-examination.
(3/?) When reversed, it can represent refusal of self-examination and growth, self-doubt, regret, and blame. In my eyes, change and (what I think will happen to the puppets) transformation is only possible with that kind of thought. Which, coupled with your own analysis of wally and home spells as disaster. Whats particularly affecting MY brainworms is Barnaby. His card is the Magician: The Magician is an artisan and the ideas person. It is a very action oriented card. It represents learning and using knowledge in creative and unorthodox ways, and seizing the day by displaying resourcefulness. Barnaby is definitely an open-minded person just with his behavior shown through just visuals.
(4/?) I am also invested in his pipe which I know just has bubbles in it, but it adds to this stoner read to his character that *I* see??? There is just something about him that tells me he will have the easiest time with this Existential crisis as to him (based of the tarot reading) this knowledge is incredibly freeing, cuz it would just mean there is More in the World to Discover. In my experience reading past life regression therapy testimonies, I've heard of how some people encounter this place in the afterlife people under hypnosis describe as a soul cleansing, a place where gem-colored rays of light shine through every inch of your soul, cleansing your spirit of the trauma it had experienced during your last lifetime. And I feel like Barnaby will experience those same feelings (NOT THE SAME PROCESS). (I might ramble more about this later, in ask box or in dms if thats okkkk)
my sincerest apologies for sitting so long on this one, i wanted to make sure i had time to really, like. sit down and Process it. and then shortly after i started writing this response i got food poisoning so. lol.
because of of how in-depth this ask gets, i wouldn't feel right neglecting any part of it, so i'm just gonna write down my thoughts bullet by bullet as i go through this. under the cut for convenience:
how welcome home is going to end .... obviously, i cannot offer anything conclusive right now (if i can offer anything at all) given how early we are, but i have always had the vague impression that whatever the ending of this story is, we as the audience may never be able to see all of it. it feels like so much has been given to us already. i assume we will be given much more, regardless of how willing to give or receive anyone involved is. we owe it to our neighbors to let them decide which parts to give and which to keep, at the end of the day. i think that's the best way i can phrase it. but as always, only time will tell.
agree about Change likely being a big part of welcome home, whichever form it takes.
I WOULD VERY MUCH LIKE TO KNOW THE NAME OF THIS ARTIST. i am Dreadfully unfamiliar with a lot of 70s musicians outside of the biggest names - my first thought was either connie converse or daniel johnston, but iirc most of converse's music was recorded in the 50s-60s and johnston only started recording music in the late 70s. i don't know if bruce haack was ever super popular back when he was actually making music.
the idea of which characters fandom gets attached to being indicative of what canon does with them...? i'm not so sure about this one, honestly. fandom can get attached to a stale piece of toast that shows up for a single scene if so desired (which, for the record, isn't a bad thing.) of course, i say that based off of my own experiences, but fan reception has never really been a Factor in speculation for me either way.
calling wally dangerous doesn't feel inaccurate, but i think it's more like. i do not think he is inherently dangerous but he absolutely has the Capacity to do dangerous things. i think it is interesting that despite this (or perhaps because of it?) he appears to be more vulnerable with us than he Ever was with the other neighbors? but a.) that may not be saying much and b.) it is Also largely rooted in speculation + the fact that home and the audience are currently the Only two entities wally has been seen interacting with directly, as opposed to his interactions/relationships with other neighbors that have so far only been briefly described by the WHRP or showcased in brief snippets of concept art.
grinning so so so wide at the judgement/inverted judgement descriptions. i wish i had more to say but i'm having a hard time coming up with something that isn't just pointing to the inverted judgement description and going "yeah that's almost Exactly what i'm getting from wally so far."
again, agree about the possibility of Change playing some kind of role here, eventually - more specifically the fear of change even when it may prove to be beneficial, whether that be on wally's part or the neighbors' or the WHRP's or the staff's or the audience's or even the very setting of home itself. i imagine some grotesque hodgepodge of all of the above. something something points to that post i reblogged about sitcoms as horror.
context for the aforementioned wally and home analysis for anyone reading: 1, 2, 3
BARNABY, HUH... for the record my personal hc regarding his pipe is that whatever's in it changes depending on what would be the funniest answer at any given moment. if tobacco is funnier, then it's tobacco. if bubbles are funnier, then it's bubbles. looney tunes logic.
on a more serious note: i'm a little worried i won't have much to say about barnaby that i haven't said already! i think it may be too early to discern the Specifics of his personality from website art/descriptions alone but i do get the distinct impression that he's meant to be a lot more down to earth than wally, which of course is an interesting contrast to the nature of wally's whole [gestures vaguely] Everything. from this, i think it is Reasonable to assume that he's also a lot better at rolling with the punches as well, although i never did consider the possibility that learning about The Bullshit would be liberating for him, in a sense - i don't know about it being a cleansing experience, unless you count the recontextualization of things that didn't previously make sense as a sort of cleansing in itself, in which case it could absolutely be that. something about the parallels to cosmic horror... the relationship between the Fear of change and the Catharsis of change...
oh, but wouldn't this also put him at odds with wally, who seems to be on the Exact Opposite End Of The Spectrum, even when they understand each other like no other? Much To Think About... very exciting potential for Conflict there.

New Blog
Hello everyone! I'm pleased to announce that my sims got a new home, my new WordPress blog, also called Los Sims de Ana, which is now up and running. You can find it by following this link, you can also check my very first post here.
I must warn you it is still pretty much under construction, but you can visit it and follow me, if you wish, cause for now I have zero followers, or rather one, which is myself, lol.
Also, if you are as well on WordPress, or any other website, please let me know so I can follow you too, since I'm not following anyone right now either.
The navigation, as you will see, is simple, there is a Categories list on the side menu; there's also a top menu like the one I had on my former site. It has only a few buttons for now, but later I'll add the missing ones. The blog is for both The Sims 3 and The Sims 4, though I haven't added anything for 4 yet. Over time, I will add it, as well my sim downloads, resources, finds, tutorials, etc. In the meantime, all of the latter will remain available on my old Blogger site, which, as of today, has gone on indefinite hiatus, but it's not going to disappear.
I'm so excited to finally announce this new project, as it took me months and a lot of stress to learn how to use the tools, and then more stress to decide myself to actually launch it. To be honest, it's a long way from being complete, but I hope you'll join me in this new sim adventure. 🥰

hi! any tips and advice on starting an edit blog? I'm not very into the edit side of tumblr, i only follow some for fun on occasionally save some resources for school, but i'm never involved in any community online...
are there different edit styles, how much do they usually pay for commissions, where do they get their vectors/pngs, what must and mustn't include in my blog etc
editors from other blogs are welcome to add in the comments pls, the more the merrier ^^ = tysm!
I'll try to be as comprehensive as I can, anon !!
Let's start with your questions first
- Are there different editing styles?
To me, there are. Its more in terms of like simple to 100 layers of deco and pastel muted colors to saturation setting 1000. There are also maybe some repearing themes, for me its paper pngs. I enjoy using them so much and they give my edits a scrapbook feel that i enjoy! You can look at other editing blogs and try to analyze what they do in their edits!! (propaganda for my moots incoming)
For example, yulessu's style is recognizable to me just off the way he colors (pink...). He manages to make saturated colors work well and often makes his edits more simple!
io-kun's style changes from edit to edit but you know its him just by the coloring and composition is they do something more complex. I think their colour palette is one of my favourites. Especially the way they edit blues <3
malumpomarium also fucks around and finds out and by god xes stuff works SO WELL!! I cant really find the words to describe it but look. Look at stars work. Just look. Gaze upon them.
- How much do they usually pay for commissions?
I'm not sure what you mean by this but most editors actually do them for free or just do this as a hobby
- Where do they get their vectors/pngs?
There are dedicated blogs to storing pngs and for vectors, some make them themselves using shape tools or on pinterest from what ive seen. I mostly get vectors from tumblr posts that i saved in my drafts
- what must/mustn't be included in your blog?
Just remember to tag eyestrain as well general info like edit types and sources you want to do. I dont know what else yeah!!

hey so the trans dude google spreadsheet link is made so anyone can edit it past the first two tabs? i dont know if this is on purpose but my knee jerk was "oh god what if someone uses it to delete the whole thing". If on purpose: I envy your faith in the internet. If an accident: now you know. awesome resource thank you SO much for it.
i saw your other ask, but yes, it’s on purpose! i make periodic backups of the spreadsheet and i’ll roll it back via version history if someone fucks it up too badly. if it gets to the point where i can’t keep track of it anymore i’ll lock it down again, but so far it’s been way more convenient to let people add stuff themselves now that i have a full time job.
a lot of people are like…scared of spreadsheets or something? i’ve noticed most people who go on the sheet don’t edit it in any way (not even using the filters), so i’m not pressed for the time being.
you’re welcome! it started off as a big recommendation list for me to share, but it’s grown so far past my initial expectations. it’s really great to see it being useful to people <3

5 Guaranteed Ways To Bore Your Reader

There are times when I pick up a book and I think, ‘I can’t carry on.’ Even though I try to finish most of the novels I start, life is just too short to read badly-written, boring books.
Why are these books boring?
Most beginners overwrite – padding their prose with unnecessary descriptions and characters. This is mainly because they do not have a structured story with well-drawn characters and a cohesive, well-paced plot. I have put together sure-fire ways that will help you if you want to bore your reader to tears.
5 Guaranteed Ways To Bore Your Reader
1. Add heaps of backstory. Every page is important. Readers, publishers and literary agents make decisions about whether to carry on reading a book based on the first few pages. Do not waste anyone’s time with unimportant setting details and character histories. Introduce your main characters. Tell us where we are – briefly. Set up a great conflict with an exciting inciting moment. And write!
2. Do not structure your novel. Reading a book seems incredibly daunting if you are lost in an inexperienced author’s stream of consciousness. A great story does not meander from one unrelated event to another. It needs to follow a path. Otherwise, readers will lose interest. They will worry about wasting their time as you muddle through the details.
3. Do not create empathetic characters. It does not matter if you happen to love your unsympathetic psychopathic hero. The truth is that nobody will continue to read a novel without having an emotional connection to the main characters. They can be heroes, anti-heroes or villains, but they all need flaws and redeeming qualities. Readers read stories because they want to relate to someone in the book. We want to know why the characters are acting the way they do.
4. Leave unnecessary scenes in the book. I walk out of movie theatres when I watch a film where nothing happens. I stop reading books for the same reason. Authors cannot simply place characters on the page, add some dialogue and description and not move the story forward. Scenes should move your characters and your plot to the resolution of your story. If they don’t, cut them. Removing scenes keeps your story focused, your pace intense, and creates tension so that readers can’t stop reading.
5. Describe everything. You do not have to tell readers everything. They are not stupid. Reveal information through action and dialogue. This does not mean that you leave description out. It means that you do not tell us what every character, town, tree, or house, looks like in mind-numbing detail. Your characters should interact with the setting. A reader should be able to see and hear and smell the novel through the words on the page.
Please do not make these five mistakes when you write. Remember that you are competing for a place in a crowded market. The Internet, television, movies, and smart phones have taken their toll and today’s reader will not tolerate long flowery sentences, insipid characters and pages of boring backstory. Writing like this is a guaranteed way to lose your reader in the first few pages.

Hi! I'm working on a story with a semiverbal autistic dragon in it (I like dragons). I'm autistic, but I'm not sure if I'm considered semiverbal or not, and don't want to risk talking over semiverbal autistics on their own experiences if I'm not. Since it's a passion project I can't pay for semiverbal autistics to help me, but I was wondering if you had any tips or resources, things you really like or dislike seeing in semiverbal rep, etc.
Sorry if this is a bad place or way to ask, I'm just too anxious to ask directly, and I figured this way I may also get other semiverbal input. I also don't really have another way to reach out except on Tumblr. Sorry again if this is in any way bothersome, I hope you have a good time!
I don't know of any resources on semiverbalness I could give you (if anyone has some please link in the reblogs or comments) but I can give some tips!
1, have your dragon occasionally use some type of AAC! You have many options here like communication cards, ASL, TTS, and AAC apps and machines that compile different phrases and you can tap on them to have it say them. There's so many different kinds so be sure to research before you pick one.
2, for short phrases and such, semiverbal people usually prefer nonverbal communication over speaking. A wave instead of saying hello or goodbye, a nod/head shake instead of saying yes or no, a shrug instead of saying maybe or I don't know, stuff like that. It's so much easier than words to quickly convey information.
3, some semiverbal people have a "word limit," or basically how much we can speak in a day. This differs from person to person as some can have multiple full conversations and some can only say a couple sentences. It'd be useful to determine roughly where your dragon's "word limit" is. So when that "word limit" is met, you know when to have them use more AAC and nonverbal communication.
4, goes along with the "word limit" thing. If we know that we'll need to talk later, we might "save our words" by using more AAC and nonverbal communication even if we can talk.
5, around friends, we'll usually use AAC to be more comfortable. But around strangers, we may prefer to talk whether to mask or to just avoid confusing them. Many strangers may not know how to talk to people using AAC, so it's easier to speak.
A couple things to avoid would be 1, treating your character like an object when they can't talk. I have seen this so many times and it's so annoying! Make sure they're always being considered as a person/dragon (unless the treatment is being portrayed negatively). 2, unrealistic portrayal of AAC. Make sure whatever AAC you pick you do your research on! A lot of AAC requires patience from those around as we can't respond immediately.

I don’t write much smut, so I apologize if things head that way and I end up dropping the thread without warning (I don’t usually drop threads intentionally, it’s probably just stuck in my drafts until I’m in the headspace to write it, but that day might never come, so I apologize).
I have a separate side blog for nsfw content! I'll might reblog some smutty over there, though in general I prefer to write it on discord. It's not a smut shaming thing and I'll never judge anyone for writing it on their main blog! I just don't feel confident in my smut writing abilities so I like to keep it a bit separate sometimes.
I’m super slow with replies most of the time. Totally feel free to give me a nudge if it’s been a while since I’ve replied. I lose track of stuff so easily and then feel like I’m not allowed to reply to it when I remember it because it’s been a while.
I’m technically semi-selective, but mostly not selective at all. Aside from the rule of only writing with muns who are 18+, I’m actually not particularly selective.

also if you have any links to good places to read the lore at, i would be welcomed to get them! i have read the storyline and timeline on their website and have read the comics so far and im just in love with this entire concept
Beloved SPG Anon, I feel like us Rabbit Spouses (TM) should start a union because our collective wife puts us through so much daily. And yes! I can definitely provide some links aside from the website and comics!
A fair warning beforehand: a lot of these resources, especially the older ones, do reference Mike Reed and Steve Negrete, both of whom have left the band after rather upsetting behavior. I won't go into it here, but it's pretty easy to find reasons why. Please take the necessary precautions beforehand if this is something that could trigger you.
A GREAT resource is going through the Internet Archive and plugging in http://www.steampoweredgiraffe.com and clicking around. A good addon is /cavalcadium, which will bring you to their old lore hub, as well as any /CHARACTERNAME.html (i.e. "/Upgrade.html") to bring you to a character-specific page. I don't remember what date saves are especially good, but if you click around you should see some good stuff. Definitely recommend spending a lot of time here, since you'll find the most lore here as far as I know!
Another cool resource is the Reddit SPG Lore Sundays Bunny did, which are linked here (1), (2), (3), (4).
Their YouTube channel has some nice videos and playlists explaining some lore/in-jokes, as well as some aspects of the Vice Quadrant. Their podcast has some bits of lore, but it's mostly them fucking around for an hour, so YMMV. There is an in-character improv radio show with the characters if you're interested though here! The Youtube clips of their performances are really fun but not as lore-heavy aside from a few one-off jokes. The major exception to this is the Malfunction Incident featuring a flashback to the Weekend War (there's another significant malfunction in the Walter Robotics Expo liveshow video, which is $5 for the full recording and IMO well worth it).
Their Tumblr @officialsteampoweredgiraffe has some really interesting bits of lore as well, but you will definitely have to dig for it. I personally recommend starting at the very last page and working your way forward, since the blog nowadays just autoposts new podcast eps.
@emmi-kat has done some phenomenal lore masterposts too, and I can link some here and here off the top of my head.
They also have a Patreon with content dating back like ten years or something?? I haven't gotten into it yet but I plan to and I have a feeling there's a lot of cool stuff in there. If you're interested, the lowest tier iirc is like $1.
That's all I can think of right now, but I'm gonna maintag this as an open invitation for anyone with more resources to add on, because I would like to know too! My literal second post in the SPG fandom was 'hey guys where can i find lore because it's impossible' so trust me, I know the feeling.

Hello :) First of all: thank you for providing so much help for the indie rp community. I have some questions that I hope you could help me with?
1. Is there a convenient way of using gifs from gif packs for replies? Do I just save them all on my computer (which might be a hard thing to do especially for mumus) and then just drag & drop them into my replies, or is there a more practical way?
2. Is there a list of faceclaims that are widely unaccepted in the rpc (preferably including the reason why they are unaccepted)? There are a lot of fcs I would like to use, but I'm unsure whether they are unproblematic to use or not.
3. Is it okay to reblog all resources on a sideblog (with the main blog clearly linking to said sideblog, of course) in order to not spam the dash?

1. I open the gif page and right click on the gif I want, selecting "copy image URL" and then paste the URL in the RP reply. To get rid of the box under the GIF which appears when you post, press the link icon on the gif and delete the text in there.
2. Although problematic is subjective I think most of us can agree that some people are a hard no. I'd say that there are faceclaims who are unacceptable and should be unacceptable but not all people believe that, for one randomly off the top of my head I don't think anyone should be using Ezra M*ller (abuser). If you add a fc's name at the end of my url, for example dear-indies.tumblr.com/tagged/Ezra M*ller without the * you'll find posts about them, so please feel free to /tagged/ search the faceclaims you want to use to see if there's any posts and alternately you're more than welcome to message me too! Same with searching Google!
Also, I've accidentally suggested people who are gross and people have let me know (assuming I didn't know which was correct!) so please don't stress yourself about it too much.
3. And I'm sure that'll be ok! A lot of resource makers don't get their things reblogged (sometimes not even liked) which is a huge problem right now so as long as the blog clearly states that it's connected to X I don't think that'd be a problem but of course content creators please chime in if you think otherwise!

I've never posted anything like this before, but I feel like with the people who follow me and anyone else who may happen upon this there could be room for this discussion to be really helpful, not just for me but for anyone else who maybe has gone through similar stuff.
I've been struggling with managing depression and anxiety for the past 3 or 4 years minimum. I know thats not a lot compared to some people, but thats my experience with it. It was manageable up until covid hit, and I've been struggling to stay afloat since.
What I want to ask you lot here is I guess just. How do you manage your mental health? Do you have little habits you add in your daily life, do you like. I don't know- I've tried a lot but I don't have the resources for therapy at the moment and have no experience with it, and at this point I feel like my best bet to actually find good advice is to reach out to yall on here.
I'm very fortunate in the fact that while depression hinders my motivation and steals my energy, I have yet to ever feel su*cidal or commit any sort of sh. However if you have any tips for managing those things as well, they are more than welcome.

hi, my name is melia! i've been listening to kpop since 2016 and a carat since 2017, i stanned right around clap era. i listen to a bunch of other groups but i don't stan anyone except svt. and as you might have been able to tell from my blog header, i am, in fact, a huihui :')

about this blog
this is a sideblog that was originally just for reblogs of svt/kpop stuff but i started running it as an update blog in late 2019. caratblr and kpop tumblr in general used to be really active when i first got into kpop, but over the years more and more people left for twitter or became inactive in general due to life stuff. when all the general svt update blogs became inactive i didn't want to see caratblr die, so i thought, fine, i'll do it myself >:3
unfortunately i can't speak korean so i'm not a translator, and i live on almost the exact opposite side of the world from korea so i'm not in an ideal timezone for updates. but i'm dedicated to what i do and i like to think i've gotten pretty good at scoping out information and resources about seventeen and conveying it to the tumblr sphere over the last few years :')
what i post
my rule of thumb is i try to post updates within 24 hours. on the rare occasion i can't meet that, i'll make a post notifying that updates will be late
if there's something you expected to see that i didn't post within 24 hours, you're welcome to send me an ask about it :3 occasionally i will just miss something or there may be a reason i didn't post it which i'll be happy to explain, but there are some kinds of content i just generally don't post (as specified below)

i don't usually post anything related to merch
i also primarily stick to official seventeen channels (so for things like magazine shoots, i do post any promo shots uploaded to svt's twitter or instagrams, but i don't post any additional promo shots posted to the magazine's social media)
theoretically i also post weibo updates, but a lot of the stuff jun and minghao + pledis post these days are also cross posted on twitter or instagram so i haven't been as good at checking it recently
i don't post event information that is region specific (to korea, japan, etc.) i do post general event announcements (tours, online concerts, etc.)
i'll also post random information/updates that may be of particular interest or significance, even if it doesn't fit within the categories i normally post (there may also be other categories i could add to this list that i'm forgetting)
for all the things i say i don't post, there are always exceptions. but those categories are usually one's that i have posted in the past and have learned people don't have an interest in, or (like ig stories) are too intensive to always post even though i know people would appreciate seeing them
i am one person, and i've learned to limit myself so as to not experience burnout, and because i've been suffering from wrist pain since summer of 2021 or so TT so please be understanding that i can't post everything ;-;

t: t stands for translator! all translators are twitter handles unless otherwise specified. translators are also credited within the body of posts themselves after "trans cr."
melia.txt used for all non-update posts, though they can sometimes be unofficial updates if you want to call it that? sometimes it's info about svt, sometimes it's a rant or joke, sometimes it's about a different group or kpop in general, sometimes it's about my personal life. really just a catch all tag for my ramblings. if you're here only for updates, feel free to block it!
melia.ask ask tag, older asks previously tagged as ask. asks from anons will be tagged anon, otherwise tagged with the asker's username

ad: for advertisement, it's a tag i started using in the latter half of 2022. i usually delete hashtags for aesthetic purposes since they don't translate well to tumblr. but sponsored posts are typically indicated in the hashtags, and it felt wrong to erase that information, so i tag sponsored posts as ad: [name of sponsored brand]
tw: hello this is pledis for any official announcement from pledis entertainment. i know the tag sounds a bit funny, but i do know some people who get genuinely stressed by these types of announcements as they can bear bad news. so it's available for people to block as needed

i like to think i'm pretty lenient with people i block, but i do have some expectations
bots there are a lot of bots on tumblr, which is why i always check new follower's blogs. if your blog looks too much like a bot, you may end up getting blocked. i try to give some benefit of the doubt for this one, but i do advise new users to change their pfp and header image to avoid being mistaken for a bot :3
being shippy in the tags or reblogs of my posts i don't care what people get up to on their own blog, but shipping real people personally makes me uncomfortable. and if you're in the tags of my post making shippy comments or writing explicit self-insert fanfiction (yes this has happened) i'm going to block you. just make a separate post so i don't have to see it and we'll all be happy
being antagonistic in my inbox or on my posts the inevitability of posting on the internet is that sometimes people don't agree with you. i've had a lot of healthy discourse on this blog and i don't mind engaging with people who disagree with me on things. but if i feel like you're coming at the conversation in bad faith/being overly antagonistic or trying to argue with me over something i didn't even say, i won't entertain it. luckily this doesn't happen often, but it has happened
