Things that being proship DOES mean :
- Being against harassment based on what other people like / consume / ship in fiction.
- Not liking certain things and / or not shipping certain things, but keeping it to yourself.
- Understanding that fiction does not determine a person’s real-life morals.
- Knowing that fiction and reality are two different things, and that by comparing fiction and reality on a 1:1 basis is inherently wrong.
- Not endorsing problematic content / problematic things in the real world, but having the power to know that exploring such things in fiction is not a bad or harmful thing.
Things that being proship DOES NOT mean :
- Being a real life child predator.
- Endorsing all problematic content / themes in the real world.
- Grooming children ( ? )
- Shipping and / or liking all problematic ships and content.
- Being a person deserving of d**th threats, doxxing, harassment, or anything even remotely like those things.

This blog is a safe space for proshippers who have no problematic ships or like any problematic tropes or dead dove, but still support people's right to consume that content.

ive truly always wondered how antis could say that proshipping is bad and it reflects your morals yet agree that if, for say, youre a lesbian yet you like a fictional character that is a male, then that doesnt inherently reflect your sexuality, does that make sense? its the same concept 😭

Proship = anti harassment. Being proship has absolutely nothing to do with being a real life child predator. Proship also doesn’t have anything to do with shipping problematic content in media. Some proshippers don’t even like that content, but won’t harass those who do because they understand that it’s fictional and also know that they can’t control what other people like / don’t like in media!
If you accuse somebody of being a child predator without any actual proof or evidence, then you are part of the problem.
