Honestly if Masters ever does anything more with the anime, I hope they add Ash and Charizard as a Sync Pair.

Yeah I get it, we’re sick of Zard overhype but c’mon, it was Ash’s first major ace, his second most iconic next to Pikachu, and they even directly reference Charizard in Ash’s event.

Also, it’d just be absolutely hilarious to have some of the Masters trainers react to Zard straight up engulfing Ash’s head in flames and Ash casually brushing it off and saying, "It's just a sign of friendship between us at this point."

Just imagine Red and Leon turning to their Charizards and thinking, “Wait, does this mean you don’t like me?" And then Blue, Leaf, Sonia, and Nessa have to hold these two idiots back from trying to get lit on fire..

whys ygo the only fandom I’m in that’s really populated with crackships/rarepairs out the wazoo. Like there’s ofc A Lot of popular ships but no one looks twice at ‘weirder’ ones like ones where the charas never spoke. More fandoms could learn from this 😔

LMAO I saw a comment on an early episode of Revolutionary Girl Utena where they were joking about Utena's comment about how she doesn't want a bride but a normal boy (obviously referencing the heavy Utena x Anthy subtext later in the show, and how it's unambiguously canon in the film) and this other guy unironically, basically said "Stop spreading an agenda and seeing meaning where it isn't. When Utena says she's only interested in boys and not girls, that's all there is to it."

LOLOLOLOLOL I wonder what their reaction was when they watched the rest of the series, esp the movie LMAOOOO.

(And if anyone's wondering, yes the replies to that guy were basically dunking and laughing at their comment.)

Dionysus—Thoth’s so austere Dio sounds like an insult—casts his mind back. It’s…a gamble, trying to dig up certain parts of his past. There are gaping black holes where memories should be, whole lifetimes lost to carelessness, always suckling greedily at the back of his mind. They threatened to suck him back in. He can feel them pressing in upon him, even now, but he catches a glimpse of his red-hazed days even so. A beautiful ibis staring down upon him. Not Thoth in the literal sense but in the divine, his otherwise perfect focus broken for just a moment to bring attention to the mad god in the meadow.

When he’d smiled at the ibis, and at Thoth through it, he couldn’t help but notice what beautiful eyes they both had.

“An ibis is a fitting head for someone with such a beaky nose, don’t you think? I’m sure I would’ve been distracted by it if I hadn’t been so busy dealing with my own shit at the time.”

Said nose is turned up at the remark,

yet no scathing retort of their own is let slip. Thinned eyes regard the Olympian for a quiet moment, other components of their expression unreadable- until the cut-from-stone face softens minutely with a sigh.

"There are far more striking features of my appearance than just my nose." It's difficult to tell from their tone how much of this statement is humor, but there is should be no doubt in the presence of vanity.
