"He smells like... an oncoming storm, and dark water, and eroded stone. You know exactly who pressed this into your hand."
Binx Choppley and Andhera during the exchange of the crystal heart.
This time this painting is entirely original and not based off of anything! This moment got me in the gut and I absolutely had to make some art of it (and include the darcy hand flex, of course)
Everyone keeps talking about Binx becoming queen of the Unseelie if she marries Andhera but yall 1) we dont even know if Andhera would be King next its highly likely that Suntar would take over and 2) Binx is last of her court and therefor leader of her court, so its even more likely for Andhera to join her court and be part of the court of crafts. And I mean, a prince who spent his time in the dark tunnels, with his small rock friends, joining the court of lost things found? Isnt that poetic as well?
just! andhera telling binx that there’s “an idea of scarcity of love” in his family and binx responding with an outpouring of no!! the beauty of love and magic is that there’s an endless wellspring of both!!! no matter what form or shape that takes, you and your infinity of love and emotion and beauty are the absolute foundation of your life and you deserve to have it all with no shame or reservation imposed upon them!! i am absolutely feral i love them so much
Just remembered that touch is Andhera's love language and the only way affection and comfort are shared in the Unseelie court and I am definitely even more normal about their unglovéd moment with Binx in the darkness, don't even worry about it...
Not me getting teary eyed over a dnd regency campaign because an awkward hottie who was once a neglected loner got on his knees and pledged his support and loyalty to the last living member of the court of craft who then knighted him after a beautiful conversation about love and magic
