The smell of smoke and wood wafts to your nose, as you peek your head up from the top of the hammock that’s attached to two red maples. You watch Jiwoong silently while he chops a few more pieces of wood before tossing them on top of the roaring flames from the fire pit. Discarded pans and dishes are off to the side from the filling dinner of meat and ramen that your boyfriend had so generously prepared all by himself. You had insisted on helping him cook and clean, but Jiwoong, ever the gentleman, made sure you didn't lift a finger at all this trip and had done everything himself. "Woongie," you call faintly. "Yes, my love?" Jiwoong pauses his movements and gives you his full attention with a smile. "Come cuddle with me and then let's make s'mores?" The man drops everything and hurries over to you, nearly toppling on top of you before planting a kiss to the crown of your head. "Anything for you."

zhang hao | pool party

"Marco!" Sounds of "polo" are shouted back in various pitches and noise levels, as you and your friends splash around in the water. Blue skies bleed into hues of oranges and pinks while you all have spent the whole day getting wrinkly in Ricky's pool. Feeling thirsty from all the games, you slip out and grab your towel, drying off before sitting on the edge while sipping your cold drink from the cooler. You watch Taerae get attacked by a closed-eyed Matthew as a finger taps your thigh. Hao stands waist-deep in front of you with his mouth open, making indistinguishable noises, but you catch onto what he wants. Pouring the rest of the drink in his mouth, you discard the can to the side before leaning down to plant a peck on the man's lips. The drink lingers with the faintest taste of chlorine, but it's only a momentary thought, as Hao's laugh fills the air while he suddenly tugs you by the hand back into the water.

sung hanbin | blueberry picking

It’s sunny and swelteringly hot outside. Sweat drips down your forehead, and you can’t help but wipe it with the back of your hand in slight disgust. You wonder how you ended up here, a somewhat crowded blueberry patch during such a humid summer day. But then you glance over across the bush at Hanbin who has a wide and excited grin on his face. “Look at this one!” He exclaims excitedly, holding up a big, ripe blue one for you to see. You nod at him, an enamored look in your eyes. You guess that you could deal with the bugs and uncomfortable stickiness on your skin if it means seeing Hanbin happy like a kid in a candy store. You both fill up two large buckets with the sweet berry and take them home, making blueberry pie, muffins, tarts, and jam.

seok matthew | carnivals

The bright lights from the tents down below look like twinkling stars from up above, as you, Matthew, and the giant stuffed bear that he had won squish into the ferris wheel cart. You eagerly point out all the places you both had been that night when you get a better view, and Matthew watches you adoringly with a smile. When you're finally at the top, he snakes an arm around your waist before leaning in for a long kiss. "You know about the rumors?" He murmurs quietly against your lips, eyes locked onto yours. Heat rises to your cheeks at the close proximity as you shake your head silently. "They say that if you kiss on top of the ferris wheel, your relationship will last forever." The man goes in for another, taking his sweet time before peppering delicate kisses across your jaw until his lips linger by the shell of your ear. "I guess that means you're mine for eternity."

kim taerae | farmer's market

You and Taerae walk hand in hand through the rows upon rows of stalls selling everything from freshly baked goods to blooming flowers. A loaf of sourdough, ruby red apples, prosciutto, some cheese, and a blanket sit in your tote bag on Taerae's shoulder for the picnic that was planned for later. The two of you had made it a habit to wake up early on Sundays to take a walk, go to your favorite cafe for brunch, and then head over to the weekly farmer's market. There was something domestic about the little routine you both had fallen into, and you definitely didn't mind the quiet coos that grannys would offer on the street about how much of an adorable couple you two were. Taerae suddenly stops in front of a booth selling mason jars of wildflowers and instantly hands the owner some cash, insisting you pick out your favorite with a kiss to your temple.

shen ricky | beach day

The sound of waves crashing against the sand are like white noise in your ears, as you lay out under the beating sun. Your skin feels warm from spending the afternoon outside, but you sense a presence and jump a little at the cold drops that fall onto you. “You gonna come in the water?” Ricky asks while a hand runs through his hair, more droplets hitting you as he shakes his head like a wet dog. “Maybe in a little bit,” you reply, taking in the sight of the blonde boy before you. a thin silver chain falls down the slope of his neck and rests just above his bare chest. His swim trunks fit him well and are in a light rose shade that he had boughten after you had offhandedly mentioned that you thought he looked good in the color. “Like what you see?” There’s a slightly smug tone in his voice as he catches you staring. “You look nice.” In one swift motion, Ricky picks you up and throws you over his shoulder with ease, moving towards the water and threatening to drop you in unless you give him a better compliment than just “nice.”

kim gyuvin | dog walking

"Buttercup, please don't bite eumpappa's ear!" You hear your boyfriend's voice before you see him, but the sight before you causes Gyuvin to whine as you nearly double over in tears. "Babe, how did this happen?" The brunette gives a sheepish smile, tips of his ears red, while you help untangle him from the many dog leashes wrapped around him. Gyuvin had decided to take up dog walking as a summer side job to make some extra money to take you out on dates. He had thought it was a brilliant idea considering that he already walked eumpappa, so what were a few more pups? Well, a few more soon turned into five which then turned into eight, and although Gyuvin was too prideful at first to ask for your help, you eventually got the call to meet him outside of his apartment complex with the promise of ice cream in return. You supposed it all worked out in the end, as you got to spend time with cute puppies and your even cuter boyfriend.

park gunwook | camp counselors

Gunwook throws a glance over at you once and a while, finding it cute how your face scrunches up in concentration as you make your bead bracelet. Originally, the boy had come over to sit next to you, but you had banished him to the other side of the arts and crafts hall, declaring that he wasn’t allowed to peek at what you were going to work on. So here Gunwook was, pouty and a bit sulky, as he waited patiently for you to finish whatever you were doing so he could spend some time with you. The second he sees you snipping the thin string with scissors, he rushes over like an eager puppy. “Here, I made this for you.” Taking his large hand in yours, you slip the bracelet that adorns your name onto his wrist. Before you can say anything else, Gunwook repeats the action, wordlessly giving you the one he had made too. You peak at the letters with a smile. Gunwook.

han yujin | lemonade stands

"Yujin, aren't you a little too old to run a lemonade stand?" Slowly pulling your sunglasses down and peering over them, you stare a bit incredulously at the boy sitting in the children's chair that's clearly too small for him. "I-I'm just helping out my cousin..." He manages to stutter in a bit of embarrassment, rubbing the nape of his neck and avoiding eye contact. You readjust your sunglasses and notice the little girl coming back out of the house with a plastic pitcher filled to the brim with the citrusy drink. "I'll take three." You say suddenly, pulling out the proper amount and handing it to Yujin, as he snaps out of his daze. The little girl perks up at the influx of business, eagerly pouring three cups. You leave a generous tip in the plastic jar and hand her one of the cups before taking a seat in the grass of the lawn beside Yujin. Sipping on the cool liquid, you extend the extra cup to him with a smile.

So you two just started dating when he stays at your place overnight for the first time. As he walks out the door the next day, you notice that he forgot the t-shirt he slept in on your bed. You grab your phone to text him to come back and get it but before you press send, you come up with an idea. The next time you meet, you show up wearing his shirt instead. When he sees you stepping out of the bus, he smiles and shakes his head, "So that's where my shirt went." What he won't admit is that he thought you wearing his clothes would be really cute but he didn't know how to bring it up to you. So instead he left his shirt there on purpose in the hopes that you would wear it.

You've had a crush on your classmate Hao for ages but dude is really bad at catching hints whenever you try to flirt with him. One day you compliment him on one of his hoodies and ask if you could maybe borrow it cause it's your favourite of his. Instead of reading the room, he says that if you like it so much, he can show you where he got it from so you can get it yourself. One of your mutual friends finally has enough and blurts, "Bro, you could probably propose to him and he would still think it's platonic." That's when he finally realises that you've been flirting with him and, after some proper dates, you end up getting together. As a six months anniversary gift he gets the two of you cute matching hoodies, which all your friends think is cringe but neither of you cares.

Zhang Hao

Hanbin

When you invite him to hang out with you, he tells you that he's so busy lately that he can't come. But he still wants to spend time with you so he asks if you wanna accompany him to a dance practice instead. Watching them dance is fun but after some time you get bored just sitting on the side. You see his sweater that he tossed in the corner after getting too hot and decide to tease him a little by stealing it and putting it on yourself. He doesn't notice at first cause he's so focused on his practice but when he notices, he laughs and tells you how cute you look in it. Probably comes over to squish your cheeks and baby you. You still get scolded for taking it without permission but it's all just jokes because he secretly thinks it looks really cute on you.

Matthew

You and him are out on a date at a café which is much fuller than you expected and the last free tables are in the outside area. It's also much colder than what you're dressed for since you were expecting your date to be inside. After seeing you shiver, Matthew offers you his jacket but you refuse at first saying it's not that cold (liar). He insists until you eventually accept it and he gets to wrap his warm jacket around you. In the end you're glad he insisted because it really helps and you're actually able to enjoy your date. Matthew feels a huge sense of pride seeing you in his jacket cause it makes him feel all boyfriend. He probably tells you you look like his cutieful angel in it cause he's weird like that lmao.

Taerae

While on a car ride together on the way to a karaoke night with friends, the car in front abruptly stops causing him to hit the breaks quite harshly. He instinctively puts his arm in front of you. You're fine but the water bottle you were taking a sip from in that exact moment spills all over your pants. Fortunately for you, Taerae keeps a change of clothes in his car. Unfortunately for you, the only pants available are a colourful messy pair of sweatpants that really clash with the rest of your otherwise kinda fancy black outfit. Your friends all (affectionately) laugh when they see you but after explaining the backstory, it becomes the highlight of the night. Inside jokes about it are brought up even months later and it becomes a happy memory.

Ricky

Dude owns way too many dress up shirts and button ups so one time when you're getting ready for a date, you ask if you can wear one of them tonight. "I just wanna look as fancy as you do all the time." He tells you that you always look perfect just the way you are (what a flirt smh). "But if you wanna dress fancy, maybe we can try on some outfits together." After seeing you change in and out of some of his clothes, he has something else on his mind. "You know what? Maybe you would look best in no clothes at all." Date night is cancelled, y'all are staying home if you know what I mean.

Gyuvin

You're in the kitchen trying to get some snacks from a shelf after the two of you decide to watch a movie together. Regardless of how tall you are, gyuvin probably put them up way too high for you to reach I have a thing for gyuvin's height okay this is gonna come up a lot. When he sees you trying to climb the counter to reach it, he offers to help "since you're too tiny to reach it". You get defensive and tell him youre not that short but all he replies with is "Are you kidding? You'd probably drown in one of my hoodies." "No, I wouldn't, you're not that much taller." Instead of arguing back, he gets one of his hoodies and asks you to put it on to prove his point. Oh, you're definitely drowning in it but it's okay cause he finds it really cute and hugs you tight in it. You try to be mad at him but he's way too adorable and you end up having a big hoodie cuddle session during the movie.

Gunwook

You don't even have to ask for his clothes because he will offer his hoodie/jacket/etc every available chance whether you're dating or not. Just a constant stream of "Are you cold? Do you want my hoodie?" or "Are you sure you don't want my scarf?" He pretends he doesn't need them because he's "not even that cold". He's definitely cold but will never admit it and tries real hard to hide his shivering from you so you don't refuse his offers. You notice it anyway but don't say anything because you know it's his way of showing he cares. we love a respectful man

Yujin

This may just be a stereotype because he's young but I don't think he's ever properly dated before. So when you tell him you love the way he smells, he gets all flustered and happy. Like huge smile on his face and all. Then one day he gets an idea after you tell him you wish you could fall asleep next to him every night. From there on he always brings an extra shirt to change into when he visits you so he can give you the shirt he wore all day and you can fall asleep with it in your arms every night.

Strong arms wake you up, tugging towards a warm solid body. You shift a little, tucking your head into the crook of his neck. Both of you sigh, basking in each other before he speaks up.

“Babe.”

“Mmmm?”

You hum, nuzzling at him like a particularly affectionate cat.

“It’s my birthday.”

Yes it is. Which is why Matthew is over at yours, both of you planning to go back to the dorms later to celebrate with the rest of the boys before he has to do a birthday live.

“I know.”

After having your own little “celebration” the night before, you did ask your boyfriend what he wanted for his birthday. And even though he told you without hesitating, you needed to hear it from him again.

“You promised you would-”

You cut him off, tilting your head up to kiss him softly before rolling over until you were lying on your stomach on top of him. He’s so cute in the morning, mussed up hair and sleepy eyes but a promise is a promise. And it is his birthday.

“Happy birthday oppa.”

He looks so pleased, smiling in a way that you can’t resist squishing his cheeks and kissing him again. Hands slide down your back and grip at your waist as he surges forward and deepens the kiss, only relenting once you’re breathless and panting and very aware of how you’re pressed against each other.

With ease, he flips you both over so that your back��s flat against the mattress, him hovering over you. He’s leaning down to press kisses to your neck, mouthing greedily at your skin as you let out little gasps. Several times you feel his teeth, your back arching towards him as he sucks a mark into your shoulder that will most probably bruise.

Pausing for a bit to pull his shirt over his head, you’re greeted by the very pleasant site of his muscular biceps and abs. Even though you’ve been together for quite some time, you can’t help but feel a little light-headed every time you see them like this.

You run your hands along his sides appreciatively. He shivers a little, hips lowering to meet yours, both of you hissing at the contact.

“Matt.” You call weakly, only for him to pull back, staring at you with dark eyes.

“Ah, ah babe, that’s not my name today.”

You barely stifle a giggle before you stare at him through your lashes coyly and say it.

“Oppa.”

“Yes babe?”

“Please.”

Safe to say, Matthew spends most of your morning making sure you’re calling his (preferred) name.

Your boyfriend is promptly assaulted by loud singing, several hugs and pats on the back and a decently decorated cake that you hoped they baked properly. Food poisoning would not be a great gift for any day.

Jiwoong and Hanbin are helping you and Matthew lay the food out on the table while Hao’s wrangling the younger ones. Absent-mindedly, you ask.

“Matt, where do you keep your serving spoons?”

When you don’t get an answer, you look up only to see him staring back at you expectantly.

You raise an eyebrow and throw a glance at the members. Really? In front of them.

It’s my birthday. He mouths, having the audacity to pout just a little. You tamp down the urge to sigh and summon a little aegyo, feeling sorry for those in the immediate splash zone.

“Oppa, can you bring the serving spoons?” Both Jiwoong and Hanbin freeze. Matthew smiles, answering you cutely.

“Sure babe.” And he’s off to fetch them. Hanbin’s about to catch flies with how much his mouth has dropped open and Jiwoong’s eyes are so big they’re about to pop out of his head.

“Don’t ask.” You hiss under your breath, looking Hanbin in the eye. “He’s your best friend.” Jiwoong’s managed to mediate his expression back to placid serenity, the actor he is.

You think that’s the end of it but later, when you’re reaching for one of the side dishes, Yujin makes a noise of concern and asks if you’re alright. Suddenly everyone’s staring at the bruise peeking ouIt from where the neckline of your shirt shifted. You want to die. Several of the members pointedly avoid eye contact. The younger ones look confused. And your boyfriend? Matthew’s expression is too smug for his own good.

It’s a good thing it’s his birthday. You’ll get him for that tomorrow instead.

🍀 Jiwoong - Fried Eggs

Fried eggs have this innocent vibe about them. I literally don't know how to explain it?? And so does Jiwoong

I say this a lot here but he's a classic and so are fried eggs. You'll find them in every bag of pick n mix I ever put together

I'll be real I have no idea what flavour they are, and sometimes I wonder what's going on in Jiwoong's head

☘ Zhang Hao - Fizzy Cola Bottles

Am I influenced by when he said he wanted to drink zero cola with Hanbin every day? A little

But also… cola bottles are good, like really good. It's like a tiny sip of cola and he is smol (yes he's taller than me)

But he's not the regular cola bottle, he's a little bit fancy, a little more special. He's a fizzy cola bottle

🍀 Hanbin - Gummy Hearts

Hanbin is literally the personification of gummy hearts, fight me on this

Bro looks at all his friends like 🥰 how could he not be a gummy heart? He's literally full of love for everyone

Gummy hearts are also a classic and I feel like they're pretty popular?? Hanbin is basically a social butterfly so yeah he's also popular I mean he held the #1 spot for almost the entire show

☘ Matthew - Marshmallow Twists

Squishiness intensifies. I want to hold his face in my hands and squish him, not in a hurty way but in the way you squish marshmallows

Woohyun oppa who? I only know Mattchu. He's cute and soft like marshmallows I do not care, Matthew fight me on this

Marshmallows are sweet but not overly sugary and sickly, which fits him well cause he's just the right amount of sweet

🍀 Taerae - Gummy Bears

I mean who else could this possibly be? I literally wrote down gummy bears when I thought of this idea and I went "Taerae" no questions asked

Gummy bears are classic. Taerae is a classic. Need I say more? His voice is timeless

And they're shaped like teddy bears. You know who else is shaped like a teddy bear? Taerae. He has a very comforting aura around him

☘ Ricky - Fizzy Cherries

Okay so personally, I think the normal cherries are already kinda fancy and all that

And what do you get when you add a bit of fizz to Ricky? You get rizz I'm so sorry it had to be done

No but fr though fizzy cherries are the edgy cousin of the fancy cherry and I feel like that fits him so well because he's fancy but he also has a bit of edginess??

🍀 Gyuvin - Bubblegum Bon Bons

He's bubblegum bon bons, end of. No discussion… I'm kidding, but I don't really know how to explain myself he just is?

Bubblegum bon bons are fun, funky and fresh. I would also use those words to describe him

They also remind me of my childhood and he gives off this carefree energy I can't explain

☘ Gunwook - Gummy Snakes

Hear me out on this one… people look at him and think he's all intimidating and edgy like a snake. Do you remember Takuto quaking in fear when he first saw him?

But he's actually the sweetest?? Like during Tomboy when he was running around after his hyungs

Also really squishy, no wonder the other trainees kinda adopted him

🍀 Yujin - Jelly Beans

Jelly beans are small. Yes I know he's taller than me but he's small, okay? He's just a tiny boy

Squishy. I just wanna squish his cheeks at all times, like how Gyuvin does. Maybe less aggressively? Nah, I'm lying, just like him

I think they're so adorable and so is Yujin. No one can change my opinion on this
