#i love joe i do #but the fact that i can hear his snoring through earplugs closed doors AND while in a separate room is #its takin a toll #i think its getting worse tbh but i cant like tell for sure bc its always been super bad and loud #before people start ab sleep apnea: healthcare is a nightmare rn and he doesnt seem to want to see anyone ab it #which. idk i guess its not that serious?? the most it affects him is i dont sleep in the same room anymore #bc i have real bad misophonia and snoring is one of Those Noises #plus like even if they invent the worlds best earplugs that block out all sounds forever #he snores so bad it vibrates the mattress #so... now we got our own sleeping spaces #but hes still like snoring really bad #connecticut was kind of hell bc theres only so much anyone can do #he's also a very heavy sleeper so its not like i can wake him up #and im a very light sleeper #so even when i go to bed first and get to sleep alright when he comes in or lays down i wake up #we've tried like #a wedge pillow some weird mouth guards this chin trap thing some nose strip things #i do genuinely think its sleep apnea so we need a cpap machine i think but those are expensive as fuck #and im not even sure if you can get one without a diagnosis??#well. thanks for reading my vent #i promise our marriage and relationship is fine and tbh better than a lot of other people we know's...#its just this one thing #:(

Whenever I get the sleepies at work I just put my head down on my desk and take a 15 minute nap (timed on my phone to vibrate and wake me up) and it helps so much. I feel a lot more awake and alert and get more stuff done than if I had just tried to power through it. If you're able to, highly recommend just giving into the sleepies instead of going for coffee.

i had june bug out from about 7 pm to 1 am, & it went pretty well!!! Tally still doesn't like her, but she mostly kept to herself. I didn't have to break up any fights, & I know june bug appreciated being out for an extended period of time

i put her back in the bathroom for the night bc im still not 100% sure of keeping them out when I can't supervise, but if tomorrow goes well too then I may just leave june bug out overnight. We'll see.

#speculation nation #i'll still keep her in the bathroom when im off at work until im SURE she wont get in fights with tally #it's a progression. im a light sleeper so if they Did get into a fight it'd probably wake me up #and then i can interject. cant do that if im not here at all lol #june bug objected Strongly to being put back into the bathroom. aka why im considering leaving her out overnight tomorrow #she doesnt wanna be in there & so if she manages to not get in fights with tally. well im plenty happy to have her out #she is so very skittish. i cant tell u how many times ive accidentally scared her just doing my thing #her following me to the kitchen then getting the shit scared out of her from me digging smth out of my freezer #im hoping she chills some with time. probably will always be jumpy but hopefully she'll learn most apartment things r safe #god help her any time i pull out the vacuum though...#anyways yea. new cat introduction is going Fine. tally didnt hiss or growl today and im calling that a win.

#yeah i cant sleep both bc of my sleep schedule atm and bc joe is snoring like hell #not to. vent #but ive actually been sleeping on the couch for months now bc of his snoring. its just easier for both of us #and he hasnt seen a doctor or anything bc we're pretty sure its not like apnea hes just a loud sleeper #but im a very light sleeper. and i have misophonia.#and theres only one bed so he has it and im in the bathroom #im tired and all but i cant sleep #i even tried sleeping with the noise cancelling headphones but hes vibrating the whole bed.#my alarm is at 8.#i have 18 minutes to sleep if i want to hope for even 5 hours.#i MIGHT try the chair thing but hes still being pretty damn loud idk if i can even be in the same room #hence. why im in the bathroom #i might throw some pillows in the tub and see if thats any more comfortable?#as it is rn im just on a towel on the floor. my shoulder is going to be something tomorrow

#nunya beeswax #ok so yesterday H changed plans without telling me and basically stood me up #which we have explicitly discussed hurts me.#and they apologized and we therapized and like we’re all good now #but then last night i was supposed to go spend the night at d’s place #but then he was gonna be late bc his friend was having a rough day so plans changed and i was gonna go to bed but leave my front door unlock #ed and he would come join me and sleep over here whenever he got done #and i am a very light sleeper so when i woke up every so often i would check my phone to see if he was on his way and he just never was #and he finally texted around five am and says they fell asleep while watching a movie so he was just gonna go sleep at home cause he didnt #wanna wake me up #well i woke up ten minutes after he sent the text anyways but whatever #and he said that HE was gonna leave the front door unlocked and whenever i woke up i could go join him over there #and like. all of that is fine. he even offered up an alternative #and im not going to begrudge him accidentally falling asleep bc i do that all the time! i get it!#and if i did the same thing with one of my friends id want him to be understanding of how it was an accident #so im not mad at him for that #BUT. it DOES mean that i got stood up twice yesterday by my two favorite people.#and it….. feels real bad man #but like i cant bring it up with them bc thats a shitbitch thing to do #and like. david didnt even do anything wrong he did the best he could with the situation and i appreciate that #but that doesnt change the fact that i got stood up TWICE in one day.

as someone with insomnia whose brain runs a mile a minute at all hours of the day every day always it's often hard for me to remember that i need sleep like everyone else does. like i see mentions of people sleeping and im like "lol couldnt be me" then i remember that i too must go unconscious every night, ideally for at least 8 hours a night, every single day, ad infinitum,

literally what is the point. i'd rather use my time for other things thanks
