oki but like merging "Cool As I Think I Am" and "If I Loved You" in the reprise is like fucking genius tbh like I am genuinely impressed by how both of the arcs explored in both songs were summed up neatly in the reprise in a sense that Pete finds his solid sense of identity and a big reason for that is Steph loving him despite not readily admitting it LIKE "If I really really did love you, you'd have to say-" "I know." ESPECIALLY WITH THE MAIN MESSAGE OF "IF I LOVED YOU" BEING THAT OF THE TWO DENYING THEIR FEELINGS FOR ONE ANOTHER BECAUSE THEY'D MAKE IT SUPER DAMN CLEAR TO THE OTHER IF THEY DID HAVE THEM SO WITH PETE SAYING THAT HE KNOWS AND WITH HIM LETTING STEPH KNOW HE DOES LOVE HER BACK BY BEING WILLING TO TAKE THE BULLET FOR HER LIKE FJSJDJAFJSJD

I've started playing Honkai Star Rail and I love how dramatically silly it lets me be. So far I have stolen mail, searched garbage cans, entered a closet to become one with the darkness, waxed on about how life is just a road to death to a terrified guy (somehow that seemed to make him less terrified), bowed in respect to a dumpster, investigated an inconspicuous lamp so many times it got mad at me, investigated a trash can so many times it insulted me, and felt bad for two different trash cans and several sandbags (I believe my Trailblazer is going insane from putting up with me). All this not counting with the countless dialogue options with NPCs around the world that allowed me to be incredibly dramatic (think almost Fischl style) for no reason (you can bet I took them). However, I cannot jump or climb, and fights are turn-based... we respect our opponents in Star Rail (and die. A lot).
What I conclude from this is that while the Traveler has a moral code (and some standards) when dealing with interpersonal interactions but isn't bound by physical restrictions or conventions (stairs? The Traveler does not understand that concept. Fair fights? Please, they don't have time for that), the Trailblazer is the exact opposite. The physical rules may hold them but their only ties to social rules or convention so far have been March and Dan Heng saying "hey, maybe don't fight the guards" and "hey, you can't just accept random jobs".
It also might be because the Traveler is a thousand year old entity that has been through A Lot (has learnt the power of friendship, but is too tired to take the long route) and is on a serious mission while the Trailblazer was quite literally Born Yesterday with the sole purpose of housing a massive problem inside their body (walks and fights like a Normal Person bc they're mimicking everyone else, but is absolutely unhinged) and is just having fun with tjeir newfound existence.
Either way I love both of them and they're basically cryptids but in different ways.

Broke: Nine is an obviously "evil" Tails and Sonic should have never trusted him. Shadow was the only logical character for thinking he couldn't be trusted. He doesn't deserve to a home in Green Hill. Nobody is safe.
Woke: Sonic is so willing to stick his neck out for Nine despite his harmful actions because he recognizes all the cruel abuse Nine has gone through alone that shaped him into who he is. Sonic wants to provide him with love, housing and security to address the root cause of Nine's mistrusting behavior. Sonic is willing to do right by his new friend and brother even if others don't know or care about Nine's circumstances. He also wants to take responsibility for his part in projecting someone else onto Nine and for not properly communicating his intentions.
New Yoke: Nine really needs a safe, secure home because he's not evil but a victim of abuse and cruelty. But Nine getting a twin brother to play and live with who is just as smart as him, just as mischievous as him and just as into explosives as him still will be far more dangerous for all of reality than Eggman or the prism could ever be. Nuclear arms and deadly robots for fun? Child's play to them. Nobody is safe.

Iran is bombing Israel apparently, FAFO moment truly.
Both Biden and Trump are vowing to defend Israel with harsh military force against Iran.
If they follow through with it and the US moves against Iran, this will actually become a war.
Do not stop pressuring politicians to support Palestine. Do not stop advocating for Palestine. Do not stop protesting Israel. Do not stop protesting genocide.
From the river to the sea.

This is miserable but I think we need more Kaeya Afraid of Diluc. Like, yeah, Kaeya will antagonize him on purpose (he calls it playing with fire. Nobody else thinks it's funny) but the second Diluc gets Actually Angry (usually not at him) Kaeya is halfway across the city suddenly very busy with his knightly duties. Naturally, rather than deal with the intense guilt, Diluc goes the other direction and starts doing vigilante justice.
The avoidance does not help them reconcile lmao
this is like a more fun rendition of the relatively common headcanon i see that kaeya's afraid of fire because of The Fight. really good concept

thinking about immortal merlin going to a super famous artist who is known for having super lifelike paintings a few hundred years after arthur dies and telling them their story and having the artist paint arthur just by merlin’s descriptions instead of by a recreation with his magic and just reliving his life in camelot mentally while sitting on this artists couch as they bring arthur back to life for merlin
