perfect wedding photo. excellent. lovely. can you even imagine how moody the others would be if ringo married brian? and if brian married ringo. they'd be cross and jealous and worried in all directions. they'd demand equal access to both of them. they'd find reasons that they needed to take ringo away somewhere for a week and then not give him back for three months. john and paul would show up at three in the morning and declare that they had private songwriting things to talk about with brian and make ringo leave the bedroom and sleep on the settee. the passive bitchy stuff george would say to the press and then claim it wasn't how it sounded. I think both brian and ringo would really enjoy it. it's not like they'd be getting married to lock the others out of anything, they'd just be getting married to lock everything together. everyone being a bit jealous and in love with them would create unity in its way, and they'd smile softly at it.

guys I had this realization the other day that Redwall works really well for reading aloud, and kinda half-remembered something about the author reading to kids? So I looked it up to see if I had made a connection.

And it turns out, yes, actually, because he read aloud to kids at a school for the blind. But all the books they gave him to read were depressing. So he wrote Redwall, a story about heroism and courage and making it through struggles, and filled it with so many sensory, visual details so he could give them something better and I just-- that's so wholesome-- help

Happy 7th anniversary Breath of the Wild ♥︎♥︎♥︎ I've played each title of this beloved franchise since the NES area, and this particular chapter just blew me away. It somehow made me re-experience this overwhelming feeling of freedom, wonder and mystery I felt booting the original NES game a child, trying to find my way through Hyrule Kingdom and discovering it's secrets.

“I am very saddened to hear that my ex-bandmate, Denny Laine, has died. I have many fond memories of my time with Denny: from the early days when The Beatles toured with the Moody Blues. Our two bands had a lot of respect for each other and a lot of fun together. Denny joined Wings at the outset. He was an outstanding vocalist and guitar player. His most famous performance is probably 'Go Now' an old Bessie Banks song which he would sing brilliantly. He and I wrote some songs together the most successful being 'Mull of Kintyre' which was a big hit in the Seventies. We had drifted apart but in recent years managed to reestablish our friendship and share memories of our times together. Denny was a great talent with a fine sense of humour and was always ready to help other people. He will be missed by all his fans and remembered with great fondness by his friends. I send my condolences and best wishes to his wife, Elizabeth and family. Peace and love Denny. It was a pleasure to know you. We are all going to miss you. Love, Paul”
