We see Halsin turn into a rat/mouse (?) when he leaves the Goblins camp after everything goes down.....why tf didn't he just do this in his cell to escape? Them bars are wide enough he coulda fit through an with how fast that man dipped, I don't see the goblins being real successful in catching him like that :?

Army update #2: Ed, Edd & Eddy joined the chat

Today on my way to work I kept thinking about the colour pallet for my army. When I was getting myself some lunch I noticed an interesting soda can. (You probably know where this is going).

Those colours are EXACTLY what I was looking for. Gentle tint of mint was the missing piece I needed. Now I know how to proceed.

After work I swung by the War Store and got myself propper clippers. They were kind of pricey, but it's okay. I don't mind spending a bit more money on something I'll be using regularly.

I also picked up the figurine I started painting the last time. When you buy your first set you get one for free. I still haven't finished painting this lil guy, but will do that in a free moment.

Then I finally finished the base on Uno. He still got a long way to go, but ita a start. After adding some more highlights he'll be a beautiful boi.

After that I took some pics of the bigger bois I partly put together the last time. They're not done yet because I was too scared to proceed with regular scissors and damaging the arms.

Ed: the one with one paw on a rock.

And Eddy: the one with small, cute bone attached to his hip.

So, I was just doing a sesh of Dwarf Fortress while I was doing my laundry & fucking incredible shit just happened. So I’m mining out my first cavern to sorta expand and explore it because it has so many fucking water tiles. Everybody has to haul shit, even the kids. Especially the kids. Builds character.  Now, one thing to know about the fortress is that I specifically dug my shaft to the first cavern separate from my fortress in order to fight Forgotten Beasts on the surface where my dwarves can surround them more easily. This, unfortunately means that my haulers *do* have to go above ground to carry shit back into the fortress and honestly I’m thinking about setting up a minecart system to reduce time. Anyway that’s irrelevant. Back to the story at hand.  I have some dwarves hauling shit out of my cavern and some snatchers show up. No big deal tbh, I have 40 highly trained dwarves, one squad of which is full of Weapon Masters. We’re talking, these guys have been basically my first squad of militiadwarves since the founding of my fort. And my fort is at this point, about ten years old. So I assign them to kill the snatchers. The snatchers are chasing two of my children, who are slow and nearby. They manage to bag both kids and then stop moving. I think for a moment my game is paused, because they spend a few seconds not moving and I haven’t experienced any particular lag yet. But no it’s not paused, these goblins are just over encumbered. Now, I don’t know which squad of my militiadwarves are training right now, so I don’t know who is armed and who isn’t. BUT I do know one thing. In the time it took for my militiadwarves to show up, the goblins had only moved one tile. Would you like to know why? It’s because MY FUCKING KIDS ARE HAULING MOTHERFUCKIN’ ROCKS BABY. They are specifically carrying shale. So, with the weight of the children + the weight of the shale the children were hauling, the goblins were just overencumbered and murdered quite handily by my militia. So, long story short kiddos, haul rocks because it builds character and it might just save your ass from kidnapping goblins one day.

My body may be in Singapore, but my mind? Well.

My Charlotte design!! :^]] I might do small redesigns for most of the characters cause I just really like doing them

My main gripe with Charlotte's design in the first game is that she just looks a bit too put together😭 idk it's hard to believe she was living with goblins and probably sleeping in the forest yknow, I also wanted to make her look a bit more like a mechanic
