Prison was a mix of fate, gravity, and the whole "stand users attract" (this excludes Ermes since she wasn't a stand user before prison). However, there was a possibility they could have ended in some other prison if fate wasn't involved, since Anasui did kill two people and Ermes went to jail on purpose, which means in this universe, they fact they're not in jail means they likely didn't commit their crimes from their previous universe, and possibly the reasons to commit them didn't happen (Anasui's gf didn't cheat or he simply broke up with her, Ermes' sister didn't die). Jolyne now Irene) is also going out with Anasui (now Anakiss), and they're going to ask Jotaro to give his blessing for their marriage, this implies several things, Irene wasn't convicted, and maybe never even dated Romeo, and she has a better relationship with her father, Jotaro is a good father in this universe.

Anyway all this to say that things changed for the better, outside of Pucci's influence or control, so like maybe everyone from the other parts are also doing good and alive (the Zeppelis, Kakyoin, Avdol, Iggy, Narancia, Bruno, etc)

Your anasui rants made me realize why i never put him and Jolyne into a relationship when thinking about anything post-6 Aus. They just don't work. Hell, he couldn't spend 2 seconds getting to know her or telling her about himself like a normal relationship but the second he as a moment to speak to Jotaro his first words are basically "I'm a murder and want to marry Jolyne." I don't hate Anasui either but he is so creepy with Jolyne. Probably why my favorite form of Anasui fan art is Jotaro kicking his ass. Subconsciously I knew this but you just made it click.
