Bojack Horseman is the last piece of media that I would have expected to have a consistently enduring fandom. It's pretty much non-existent on an average day on Tumblr, but it's obnoxiously popular on other forms of media daily, and it kind of feels like tumblr is dying out in most content anyway, and even on here there's still a decent amount of content that's posted daily that is decent enough for a piece of media that was canceled years ago and wasn't super popular or mainstream even when I was out. It impresses me daily, it's a good thing, since BoJack is the love of my life anyway and is boring as it is, really all that I need for the rest of my sad, lonely, pathetic life.

#I keep trying to cling on to Rick as a comfort character too but honestly it's just not the same #whenever I just cling on to Bojack 100% I fall into this weird headspace where it just feels right #it's perfect for someone that loves niche bright colorful but at the same time depressing medium #with BoJack being my perfect type as a partner #as a mentally ill fanfic maladaptive daydreamer #and a someone who struggles severely with alcoholism and suicide and is looking for validation with that struggle daily #ans ALSO #has been looking for a sense of online community for years that doesn't just randomly die out #I've been checking Bojack culture everyday for literally 3 years straight without missing a single day and there's always something going on #granted the fandom does not care about me but actively despisees me and has made me suicidal more times I can bother to remember at this #point but considering how bleak and resourceless my life has become it's still a pretty good deal #it's much more preferable to that dead inside #utterly empty neurotypical feeling that comes with most media fandoms

#furry #my art #eyestrain #bright colors #neons #<-burned my eyes while drawing this and i want y’all to stay safe #one of my classes cancelled this morning so i had sooo much time so i drew a thing #personally i like drawing nonhuman characters because they allow for more shapes than people do #and like. i love shapes idk if you’ve picked up on this yet but shapes and colors are The Thing my brain needs #no matter how much i try to draw more realistically i always fall back to bright colors and strong lines and shapes #because i love them #i chose neons here because for whatever reason everything felt so dark this morning #i kept trying to draw but even white wasn’t bright enough and i checked the settings and everything idk it’s probably my eyes #so i needed something bright to see #and see i did #so i drew this #i was feeling like bright highlighter yellow and green #bc i really want to dye my hair back to highlighter colors it’s rad but fades quick #if you’re wondering what animal this is: idk. i was looking for Shapes and i made them #i was feeling a little bit like borzois (russian wolfhounds)#but they’re a tad different #whatever #this was fun though i might draw more furry shit idk #feeling great drawing so cartoony i feel like i’ve been healed #i mean. it’s not like i haven’t been drawing cartoony but i mean like #stronger lines brighter colors more pop-out eye-grabbing y’know?#it calms me #anyway i have friday off so yayyyy i get to sleep soon #i’ve slept like. 15 hours this week #major L to me

#image commentary in tags once again since they don't allow captions anymore and I feel weird using the alt text for that --#1 & 2. A very pale dusty warm sort of sky. Love the tone of it. All shades of gray skies are amazing.#3. Some flowers outside of a building I walked by. I like the chunky petals and interesting muted color #4. bapy son enjoying the sunlight #5. Picture of a moon and I think two stars or maybe planets or something near it? :0 #6. little lines drawn onto the carpet with sunlight from the window blinds #7. The moon illuminating the clouds to an unuusally bright degree. Very inchresting.. It isn't even captured well in photos but in real lif #it kind of looked like everything in the sky was glowing #8. They had heart shaped strawberry biscuits at popeyes this February (I think for valentines day month?)#9. All of the various rocks I've picked up on the ground outside over the past few months. Now that I have a rock tumbler I'm always on the #lookout for interesting ones. Though I'm not sure what all of them are or how well they'd actually polish. I know there are rules about tha #and stuff lol. I do think it's neat how when they're all next to each other there's so many different patterns #and colors and stuff even though they were all taken from basically the same small span of just sidewalks and places along the city #I never travel to different states or anything or even go hours away within my own state.#photo diary

Yesterday I watched Cartoon Saloon’s short “Screecher’s Reach”, and thought Daal’s hair was almost exactly like how I envision Mathilde Lachance’s hair, so I decided to try and draw her. Today I stopped cleaning up the sketch after about an hour because I got bored, so it’s going here.
