TRANSLATION NOTES:
ABOUT HIS LIKES—'Mont Blanc' in this case should most likely be referring to the dessert. It could also be the luxury brand, but assuming from the way 'Mont Blanc' is used in Rindou's profile about his story with Ran, the dessert feels more appropriate in context.
ABOUT HIS DREAM—Apparently, the original text, "外タレ" can mean either 'foreign talent' (がいタレ), which means a Japanese who is a celebrity overseas (or vice versa), or 'outside celebrity' (そとタレ), which means a celebrity (or influential person) who is famous due to their connections and relations to celebrities, like a socialite. Both work in Ran's context, though I personally feel that the second one (outside talent) is more appropriate for him. Nonetheless, 'foreign talent' is the more commonly-used meaning in the Japanese language.
Tokkō-Fuku (特攻服) = Gang uniforms worn by Japanese biker gangs (Bōsōzoku).

for those interested in printing and creating your own zine! jpegs of the template for the hockey zine here, link to download from drive (+ more info on that) and a tutorial below!!
if you can print from somewhere that supports psd files (also in the drive) i highly recommend, to preserve the colors better (: these appear weird as rgb color profile right now but Should print properly as they'll convert to cmyk. let me know if thats not the case!
also, i'm. not charging for any of this. but instead if you're able to, please consider donating esims for gaza or in some way supporting those in palestine (even just doing your daily arab.org click!!)
again, if you have somewhere to print psd files that is what i would Highly Recommend, the colors and quality will just turn out better, i think.
here is the link to a drive folder where u will find these files as well as tutorials (both specifically for this zine and for this type of zine in general)
some further info not included/expanded on in that drive! :
this is meant to be 8x8in when laid flat (not folded) and the files there should print as such, you wont need a special printer or anything, i literally just used the normal library printer on printer paper.
you will need to cut off the edge around the printed bits as straight and close to the edge as possible, as well as the 4x4 empty square in the middle.
if you're able to line them up, you can print these back to back as they are. if you can't, or want the zine to be a little thicker, you can just print them on separate pages and glue them back to back (the way theyre currently oriented, if that makes sense) and fold it like that. that's how i did it!
there are 24 image slots, but if you want to make your own you will only make 6 images. these images will then be split up into 4 sections (theres an example of this in the tutorial folder) in order to be folded, which is why there's 24 little sections.
i would recommend folding around every square of an image before doing the Actual Final Fold, it'll be soooo much easier to manipulate it from there imo. then, once you have done the final fold, taking something and creasing around the edges of the zine on each page you flip to will help it be easier to move, as well.
also this is the video i originally used to learn to make these (but found to be a little confusing/not friendly to those making their own)

Freddie - 19 pictures of his cats, 1 picture of him in his stage gear. Lists sex as one of his favourite hobbies.
John - One picture of him with long hair, one picture of him with short hair, a picture of him tinkering with something where he is mostly obscured but the picture gives a perfect view of the innards of some appliance. Doesn't answer most of the profile questions but says the last things he bought at a shop was duct tape, tarpaulin, bleach, a shovel and a cucumber, and his favourite word is moist.
Roger: a picture of him in his car, a picture of his car by itself, a picture of him drumming, a picture of him reading. In every picture the item he is in the picture with is in focus and he is out of focus. He says his nickname is Rainbow but some people call him Rudolph. He says his idea of a perfect date is going on a long drive and getting to know the other person (almost as if the getting to know the other person was an afterthought), puts his favourite musical instrument down as the guitar and the lists ten books as his favourite book.
Brian: His looking for says women but his sexuality lists him as bisexual. There is no other mention of this in the rest of his profile. His photos are perfect but the captions are full of technical compositional details and he uses up the 300 character limit for each photo. He also has a photo of his feet in the water in some swimming pool in Tenerife and uses the caption space to explain the concept of water displacement. He lists his favourite book as the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy and his favourite movie as Women in Love. In the "Want To Say More" block, Brian writes "I'm not sure why I'm getting messages off gay foot fetishists, and whilst I am flattered, I am sorry to say you've got the wrong profile entirely. - Bri x"

Caleb wasn't sure how he got here, really. Falling for an accountant at a mattress company, of all people. One who didn't care about glitz and glamour, preferred homemade pizza dates to being taken out to expensive restaurants. Who smiled politely at getting a rolex for his birthday but wore the rock Caleb had found on one of their hikes together around his neck because Caleb had said it reminded him of him.
He also didn't know how he ended up with his nephew moving into his house. He'd only paid the boy to show WD how great he was with kids, since the man had a son about Alex' age and he'd really, really wanted to impress him. Alex had shrugged and said Caleb was his favourite Uncle anyway (depressing, considering they saw one another once every two to three years), and he could use the money.
Except Alex and Willie had hit it off, much more than Caleb and his date had at first. Caleb had thrown everything he could at the man, and nothing had seemed to impress him, which was rather infuriating and only made him want to try more.
It wasn't until they both arrived at the police station to pick up their respective troublemakers that the ice truly broke. Caleb had a few days off, so he was unshaven, in his sweats and a tank top, and incredibly cranky to have been called out of bed at five in the morning.
Turns out WD really did just care about who Caleb was as a person. Which included 'grumpy before he had his morning coffee' and 'wearing bunny slippers because he was too tired to find and tie his shoes'.
So when Willie and Alex moved Alex into Caleb's mansion behind Caleb's back while he was on a date with WD, well, it was already too late by the time they came home. Besides, he owed Alex a little, for helping him find the love of his life.
