Listen man. Missa's place in Phil's silly polycule? It's not strictly romantic (if at all) and not strictly platonic, it's a secret third thing. I don't hc Phil or Missa as aro but what they've got going on is def smth some aros would enjoy. The best way to explain it is Kiss The Homies. Except there's a massive crush on Missa's end.
Phil loves doing literally everything with Missa. Exploring, egg care, goofing around, whatever. Quality time and gift giving are his love languages no matter the type of love. He just loves hanging out.
Phil can do no wrong in Missa's eyes. He's this amazing (and very pretty), smart, caring and powerful guy. He cares so much about people, how could he possibly do wrong? Missa is the #3 Philza Minecraft defender (he concedes that Chayanne & Tallulah are #1 and #2).
Missa doesn't understand the whole Bolas thing but he's happy it seems to make Phil happy. He thinks? (The word he's looking for isn't happy, it's manic /lh)
Being away so often sucks, but Missa loves coming back and getting stories from Phil. ... The good ones, not the [lore] ones. Those scare him.
They love exaggeratedly rping nuclear family to tease Chayanne. Holding each other making kissy noises like OoOoH MiSsA I LoOoOvE yOu! OoOoOh PhiLzA I LoOoOvE yOu tOoOoOo! And then Chayanne starts (lovingly) hitting them
The rare times Phil is doing something that doesn't require him to move around, Missa gets a free lap pillow. Phil's good at playing with hair, Missa knocks right the fuck out
And Missa likes putting little braids n stuff in Phil's hair. Actually he looks damn good with those little side ones tbh.
There's something funny about the Angel of Death and a reaper being so close. When the kids are asleep, they swap stories about Missa's past reaping jobs and Phil's,, adventures
Speaking of Phil's past, Missa hasn't doubted him for a single second about what little of the hardcore gods Phil has shared with him. El Ender King es una pequeña perra. >:(
Actually he REALLY wants a full-on lore dump from Phil. The stories sound so fascinating. He wants to know more.
One of Phil's favorite things about Missa is how easy to startle he is. Missa screeches never get old.

ABOUT
riha was born in seoul, '00 liner, softest scorpio you will ever meet
she has an older brother and younger sister. her mom started having kids quite young. her dream was to become a musician but she had to give it up to be a Mom (and also a waitress, get that money etc etc)
riha's dad is a pro football (soccer) player, he was up and coming when she was born but is quite popular now
her family was actually normal for the most part [gasp] dad was a bit absent because he was more interested in his career but he wasn't a bad guy
riha's maternal grandparents took care of the kids a lot but grandma passed away when riha was quite young and didn't rly understand what was going on
dad put all the kids into Active Things as early as he could and mom fell in love with a Sports Guy so she was all for it too
riha got put in ballet but her brother was in Rough Sports and riha was like no. i wanna do that. if i bite one of the girls in my dance class will it prove i'm tough enough for soccer
eventually the parentals relented and bitch was and is so indecisive she tried Everything
she liked soccer most but ended up playing tennis, volleyball, and swimming most bc #misogyny
she was very friendly growing up, did quite well in school, but wasn't Spectacular u know
she really came into her own in high school when she tried out for the volleyball team and got on and became absolutely obsessed w it
she got her First Real Boyfriend in her second year and they were like The Real Deal and way more mature and deep than your average high school rls
riha loved him but then she got a crush on a girl eventually and had a meltdown because it Hit Different u know. The Lesbianism....
it wasn't until her last year of hs that she finally told her bf and broke up with him she was actually so heartbroken over it she cried so much but she told him everything (and that she is a lesbian) and he was an angel and understanding but clearly devastated and that made it worse
so riha decided to be very mature and run away <3 to uni in california KJLDLKJJKLDG
she was like hi my parents this school's volleyball team is very good and well known and they have a good kinesiology program i think this would be a great opportunity for me (:
and they were like ok sweetie if that's what you want to do
so she did it
with the power of english classes and gossip girl on her side she loved it there. and she made it onto the volleyball team but also played beach volleyball. probably got a crush on her beach volleyball partner. gay ass
she spent a lot of time on social media to keep in touch w people back in sk but also got into Fandom Twitter and she's a hot mess so her account was also a mess. her interests are everywhere. but she also made friends everywhere!
( illness tw ) in her last year of uni her mom got cancer and riha almost dropped out to go home and support her but her mom insisted she finish her degree so she did
and once she graduated went home asap
( death tw ) her mom ended up passing away last year, her health deteriorated pretty quickly once riha got back to korea
after her mom died she had no idea what to do with her life because she still loved sports but didn't know how to make that her career and he could go back to school and become a physical therapist or a pe teacher or something blah blah blah
but it didn't take her long to decide that she actually wanted to achieve her mom's dream of being a musician to honor her
in the meantime tho she's a personal trainer at her local gym! and she might pick up some other jobs too we'll see.
she is pretty much a Music Newbie, she learned how to play guitar from her mom and she always loved music but was never a singer or anything
she decided to go down the kpop path because becoming an indie musician or whatever seemed way more overwhelming than becoming a trainee LMAO like "ok all i have to do is get signed to a company and they'll teach me everything right???"
she is still a sports girlie. catch her at the gym even when she's not working but also on the tennis courts and at the pool and probably in a volleyball league and
she got a dog AND a motorcycle after her mom died to cheer herself up LMAO but it helped! she loves miso (the dog) and the unnamed motorcycle because she cannot decide on a name for it even though it's been a year or something
PLOT IDEAS
her ex bf. will be very picky about this but would love to have the plot!!
in the same vein, the first girl she got a crush on that gave her a crisis. this is more open but still important
i haven't said exactly where she went to school in cali so anyone that went to uni there, they could've gone to the same uni!

"Panda, Bli and Scotty", Vi said like a shot, "They are the first three Muns, Miss T would think about when it comes to recommending anybody. I am gonna start with explaining why Scotty first, simply because they are the outlier if we go by fandom." Vi pursed her lips and ruffled a hand through her magenta bangs.
"Scotty - or as their URL on Tumblr says @countlessrealities - has been one of Miss T's oldest roleplaying partners and buddies", Vi explained, "They have been rping together since Miss T's Good Omens' days, so that's at least a couple years by now. During that time, Miss T tried out many different fandoms and muses and Scotty was always by her side. For Miss T, that is a sign of a good friendship.
"On the rp related note, Miss T also just likes how Scotty writes. Even if she does not know much about Rick and Morty, she can appreciate the passion and creativity, Scotty puts into their work. Much like Miss T, Scotty is a storyteller and world builder. Those are traits, she really likes in a writer. And Scotty is very good at depicting the unique quirks - including speech patterns - in their characters. Plus Rick and Morty just create a very unique rping dynamic by being who they are. Sure, getting used to them takes a bit, but you gotta appreciate the nuances, Scotty pulls off."
"Miss T knows Bli, whom you will know as @jynxd, the shortest so her wanting to recommend her says a lot." Vi tsked in bemusement. "Like by Janna, they bonded quickly. Come to think of it: That ain't really a surprise. Miss T and Bli both are incredibly dark in their narrations and muses. They think scarily similar. They basically love to make stuff really bad for the muses in question, which sucks. At the same time, Miss T clearly enjoys bouncing ideas off with them. Bli was the first person to suggest some ideas for Zaun, which Miss T actually did not shut down."
She flexed her fingers and tested the puffer effect of her Atlast gauntlets. Vi admitted: "I can't blame her for it though. Miss T put a lot of work into the way her Zaun affects all of us. She became very protective over it due to this. So the fact that she allowed Bli to suggest things and found them fitting... Again, that just shows that Bli knows what Miss T is going for. Something, she deeply appreciates."
"Outside of that, Miss T also is in awe at Bli's writing. She loves how detailed and varied it is. She adores how layered each of Bli's characters is. My sister has grown ridiculously attached to Bli's Silco, much to my chagrin. I can't fault her for it though. After Miss T got ousted, she very much didn't have a proper Silco for my sister, so the fact that Bli began writing that two-faced asshole makes her very happy. Just as Miss T's Silco clearly has affections for Bli's Jinx. At least, Ekko has his head in the right spot. If he ain't high on Shimmer."
Vi's smile merged into a chuckle as she admitted: "Panda, whom you know as @ferinehuntress, share a history together and that shows a lot. They have been through some quite rough bullshit and they were each other's rocks through some really turbulent times. Those experiences glued them stronger together than most roleplay partners. I ain't exaggerating when I say that Panda is one of Miss T's best friends on this side and they are incredibly close for an online friendship."
Vi's eyes drifted into the distance as she recounted: "Miss T was originally drawn to Panda because of how well she wrote. Her writing style made Miss T really excited, even if back then, she didn't care much for Caitlyn. I am not sure who followed whom first, but Miss T actually allowed me to get to know a Caitlyn. I am not exaggerating when I say that without Panda and her Cupcake, I wouldn't even really be here. Sure, I may have been a muse, but I would have been not nearly as strong as I am nowadays. Plus, Panda got Miss T excited about shipping me and Cait. Which is pretty unusual as she is more a fan of toxic and dark ships."
"Panda's world-building is no small feat", Vi concluded, "They have some of the most creative lore and headcanons the Mun has ever seen. Their Piltover is very much what Miss T envisions nowadays whenever she thinks about Piltover. It ties into her version of Zaun far too well. That amazing world-building is backed up by characters, which are just as complex and nuanced and beautifully constructed. Miss T can talk with Panda about so many creative things and she never gets tired of it."

you would be correct. i did try writing a creepypasta, way back when i was 12 years old. i didn't. never finished her bc i utterly despised writing back then. it was like... the bane of my existence. my worst enemy.
this anon is now going to provide top-secret v lore bc memories flooded my brain when i saw it so!! pretend there's nostalgic piano music playing magically in the air as i clear my throat.

if you knew me from 2014 to roughly 2017 or 2018 (which i certainly hope you do not) then you already know this but i used to rp in this fandom. heavily. on quotev dot com. i still do rp, though not for creepypasta anymore because i lost contact with the people i used to rp with. i do however like making random accounts on q bc i made a jeff the killer account and i also plan on making a bloody painter one and also perchance maybe a nina one bc i have no sense of self control.
so, fun fact, all the creepypasta roleplays i did is what honestly made me get into writing but anyways.
i typically just roleplayed as the creepypastas since that's what everyone else did, y'know? original characters and self-inserts were looked down upon at the time because people thought it was 'cringe' and because i desperately wanted to be cool and accepted, i never really. roleplayed as my ocs. not that i had any fleshed out enough to rp as but. we'll get to that in a moment.
so, the three creepypastas that i roleplayed as exclusively, never once rping as any other because my mind latched onto them and refused to fucking let go, was homicidal liu, and both jane the killers. but mostly jane arkensaw. i love arkensaw so much it makes me look like a fool, honestly, and the way that i write her today is still heavily influenced by how i used to write her when i would roleplay. i never wanted to stop roleplaying for creepypasta because they are so near and dear to my heart but a lot of stuff was going on at the time and my friends at the time had moved on from the fandom so i just... stopped.
now, on the topic of ocs. i never had a fully fleshed out creepypasta oc. i always found it difficult to make one?? because it felt like there were a bunch of guidelines on how to properly make an oc so the oc wasn't 'cringe' or whatever and i found the whole thing to be tedious and annoying so i just never properly made an oc. i would come up with concepts, and would even draw some out every now and then but i threw all those drawings out.
i was, and still am, however, a big fucking fan of self-inserts. i only ever rped as a self-insert with one person bc they were the only person i knew that was chill with it and self-shipping and fucking hell it was the best rp i have ever done in my entire writing career nothing has ever compared to it man. the way we did it was we would control our two characters, our self-inserts, and then i would control the character they wanted to be shipped with and they would control the character i wanted to be shipped with. you... you can guess who that was i don't have to tell you, you already know. and we would make our self-inserts friends and have them interact and then they would meet the two creepypastas they were gonna get shipped with and it would slowly branch off so they'd have their own things going on so it was like two separate stories that still connected, and we would discuss what to do next in the rp in a separate message and.
god. it was one of the best moments of my life, excitedly sitting there and continuously checking my notifs, waiting to see a notification telling me they replied to our rp. i miss it, truly. both roleplaying with a friend and roleplaying as a self-insert. i never understood why self-shipping was frowned upon back then, because it was probably the most fun and cathartic thing i've ever done tbh.
thankfully, i've grown and no longer feel the need to please people so i happily and proudly ship myself with characters <3

Hello there!
I am looking for 18+ RP buddies to do some Yeehan RP with me! I apologize in advance for the poor formatting on this post, I’m a bit Tumblr illiterate XD;
I am a 34 female who has been RPing for literal decades and would love some new RP buddies in this fandom. I’m looking for a literate, paragraph style, 3rd person, past tense writing format to compliment my own. Sometimes I write novels, sometimes it’s a few short paragraphs, depends on the situation in the RP. I won’t call out your spelling/grammar mistakes (Lawd knows I make them myself) but I struggle to read posts that have many grammatical errors/many spelling mistakes and it takes me out of the RP. I enjoy all types of genres - angst, fluff, nsfw, drama, slice of life, a mix of all the above - as well as many types of settings, both canon and AU.
I've played Cassidy most, but am currently in a Hanzo mood. I left the fandom prior to the name change for Cassidy and I totally understand why it was done, but sometimes I slip and use the old name. Just want to put that out there in case anyone does feel strongly about it!
I’m hopeful that my new buddy (or buddies!) will be around to post a few times a day if we miss each other timing wise, but would really like the ability to have a nice back and forth a few times a week. I’m happy to talk what you do and don’t like as well so we can keep away from any squicks you might have. I’m pretty open to just about anything with a few exceptions but we can talk about that in detail later. I’d also love to chat outside of RP!

I just came from your Sasori Roleplay account. I wasn't sure if you were active there anymore, so I hopped on over here via your pinned post.
You seem like a talented and fun person to roleplay with, so I thought why not ask?
I've read your rules and some of the older blogs and they really resonated with me.
I used to roleplay Itachi on Amino like you used to play/still play(?) Sasori on here. Those in depth roleplays that just make my heart sing. And also the RPs that are a pain to find because...well...novella takes work. And building a bond with a character who isn't naturally friendly takes even more time.
Still those have got to be the most fun times I can remember from my teens. And I misss them...
It was quite challenging to find people who share similar views on roleplaying and like the same fandom. So I must have given up sometime back. And when I read your blog today, I was instantly like "Oh my god this is exactly what I was looking for" (except like 6 years passed since I last attempted that xD)
So I wanted to pop in and say "Hi, I love your blog already!" but that didn't quite suffice so here we are xD.
It's kinda funny because after all this time not roleplaying, I found myself on tumblr, figured why not make a Sasori RP account (there are many others for the Naruto characters) to have some fun and be nostalgic? But...there was still a little 'eh' that was missing. And I found it in your blog.
I adore it, when people just get their characters and portray them correctly. And I've been aching to find more people like this. I remember it being quite the challenge in the past, back in my Itachi days, so it was like a gift to find your account!

I unfortunately no longer RP on tumblr due to some incidents that have made me wary over the years. I also no longer RP Sasori, but I do still RP in the Naruto fandom, just on Discord with friends that I am comfortable with.
Novella does take work! But man, if it isn't worth the effort! I'm so glad people are still RPing and taking up Sasori. He absolutely deserves that love! Unfortunately, I did most of my tumblr RP back when the manga was still ongoing and tumblr was at its peak so there was a LOT more interaction then than I see these days. I wish it could go back to being that way! I miss a lot of the friends I made back then! (But also I'm still friends with some of them 10 years later, it's fantastic. You really form some lasting bonds). Even back then, however, there were only ever a couple of Sasori accounts (like... maybe 3, not including myself? And most were not active).

I'm also KomorebiRabbit on AO3 and @komorebirabbitwrites. My Sasori is actually heavily based on characterization from @renaerys and her works from back then (such as Zero Hour) and she is still writing FANTASTIC Sasori works to this day. I mean absolutely unbelievable, haunting, you will never get it out of your head type fics. Her characterization is unparalleled and also she's just an awesome person in general! I also mod @sasoriweek which will happen again in November of this year!
Also, if you like dark, horror-heavy Sasori, Athelise on AO3 is absolutely amazing! She writes such an interesting Sasori and some phenomenal smut, I definitely recommend her!

So. Mixed bag. I've met some great people in this RPC (hi Cole), and re-met some great people (Hey Zirka), and I feel like, I dunno, you all are really good writers, and your characterizations are great. Plus, outside the scenes, mostly everyone has been pretty fantastic and accepting.
On the other hand, some of you need to go outside and touch some fucking grass. It's okay to like Makarov as what he is - an incredibly complicated character, because he is literally a fictional character and has nothing to do with the current climate over there, in fact, it fuckin' cheapens the literal genocide going on in Ukraine when you pull that kind of shit. This is a fictional character. Those are real people. Don't use the suffering of real people for your puritan media bullshit.
If you want to help out with the fight in Ukraine, stop blasting people on tumblr for writing characters you don't like and consider doing real world things. Here are some resources to do just that.
That aside, lmao, there's so many other issues with that argument and with the anti-Russian shit that's going on in this rpc that like, I feel like at this point, some of you are just missing the entire fucking point of that section of the world. Like whoosh, you have no idea what's going on in Slavic countries atm, or ever, and it fucking shows.
Also - it's okay to ship whoever you want with whoever you want, as long as you're not taking away from LGBT+ representation. For example, don't make Laswell straight. Don't make Gaz straight. Don't look at Nikolai and think 'that's a 100% straight man right there.' It's that simple.
And one final thing, which really summarizes everything above: Mind your own business. If you don't like something someone is writing or someone as a whole, fucking block them. It's that simple.

As for OCs! I love OCS. After all, I am rping OC. That said, I don’t mind characters that seem like “sues”. So if you're a rper who is worried about your OC being 'sue', please let me up so I can help out. I believe as an artist and writer, RPers can help one another, especially when they’re new to the game! I think building an OC is a starting point, what they need is a journey. By 'journey' I mean by threads to see how your OC reacts with their surroundings. I believe it's a good way to build character development. OCs never stay what they are at the beginning. They grow. After all, OCs are like our babies.
That said, if I notice that you do not wish to develop well-balanced characters when getting feedback after several threads, I can’t follow you or RP with you any longer if it's not working.
Godmodding is not permitted. I won’t do it, so don’t please do it either. However, certain situations with an OP muse ( especially canon muses) can be acceptable, but I would prefer to plot it out (especially in a fight scene) before your muse does anything to mine ( like who wins or loses or ending in a draw or the fight is interrupted).
As for the font sizes, I can change the font size to match your writing style in a thread if you wish. If my font or format is hard to read or the opposite, just ask!
I have some trouble with my grammar, but if we’re writing together, I invite you to correct it. Sometimes I get overly excited and write as fast as I think and even after double-checking, I might miss a few things like typos or grammatical errors. My apologies and please let me know if I have a typo or anything confusing, I make sure to fix it right away.
Please message me or inbox me if you have ideas for plotting. I love plotting threads and planning them.
If I made a mistake in the thread, or if the reply is at all confusing, please! Just PLEASE tell me in IM or ask and I can fix it! If there’s a need for any clarification, please ask me and I will answer right away.

It happened to me a few times and to others as well. If I plan to unfollow you, I will let you know on IM or which is why our writing doesn’t click.
Because of this, if you unfollow me whether I unfollow you first or not ( and I don’t remember that happening.) I will send you an ask to confirm if it’s a Tumblr glitch. I love fighting and serious rp, as well as crack! So I’m flexible!
I have no qualms about writing problematic and dark themes. I mean this is JJK, right? Shit happens!
I don’t mind RPing action, gore, dark or anything! (romance is rare)
Speaking of romance, romantic relationships are rare for me. If you request one, it needs chemistry and time between our muses ( a slow burn) especially if they have incredible dynamics. I don’t like when relationships between our muses don’t develop and go straight to romantic without any reason. I do not mind if your muse wants to date my muses but you must ask and it needs to have a good reason why though. I recommend a good story with a reasonable plot that can possibly build up a romantic relationship between them over time. That said, I have the right to disapprove if I feel if it doesn’t work out.
As for other ships, I mostly prefer platonic, rivalry, mentorship, friendship, enemies, frenemies, dependence, familial, sisterhood, brotherhood, and bonding. Again, romance is pretty rare for me but I’m not against it, it just needs development between our muses to get there.
That said, I do not ship adults with minor muses in romance ships.
One more thing! You have FULL permission for your muses to hit and discipline Daichi/Kisho, if he does something stupid or says the dumbest things. It is allowed and encouraged. Sometimes that guy needs a reality check and it’s a way to pull the reins on him if he does something crazy that is dangerous. So if your muse has the urge to smack him upside the head or bonk him because he does or says something stupid, please feel free.

People who don't understand explaining why a villain does bad things does not mean I think it was right. People who refuse to admit that Anakin Skywalker is a HUGE part of Star Wars. EXPERIENCE / HOW MANY YEARS?: Um well, I started rping a soap opera on invisionfree in 2007, Tumblr in 2011 and indie rping in 2016. I have played Glee characters, The Vampire Diaries, tons of time in the Marauders Era of Harry Potter, Sons of Anarchy, Game of Thrones, Vikings, Versailles, Star Wars, American Horror Story, The Umbrella Academy, One Tree Hill, and I'm sure I'm missing some. I don't write many OC's. I had one in the Marauders Era, but really, that's it. I've also adminned probably 20 tumblr RPs, had 4 last over 2 years. I messed around with indie a tiny bit in 2013, but I hated the idea of switching to icons so I refused until there were no SOA rps and I made an Indie Jax Teller.
FLUFF, ANGST, OR SMUT?: Angst and Smut and angsty smut. Fluff, it has to be the right ship and I do better if I have an angsty thread too. I can do more fluff with a ship like Naley than most of my others.
PLOTS OR MEMES?: Both. I am honestly up for either one, depending on my mood. If your meme sits too long and you want to plot, just message me.
LONG OR SHORT REPLIES?: I can write anywhere from 2-40 paragraphs. I'll do one for the write person. But, I don't do sentence replies. I really have some people and characters, I can write novels on.
TIME TO WRITE?: Um lately, I've been trying to more. School kicks my ass. I'm in my Senior Year for my Bachelor's in Education and even though it's going to last 2 years, I have all the classes I put off. But, I have been trying to do at least five a day. Like right now, I have no replies to do. I have starters but no replies. If I get back on the right sleep pattern, I can crank out 30 replies at 7am. Other than the last two weeks, I can reply a lot on Discord.

Hello! 21+F (she/they) here, looking for some 18+ writing partners. I’ve been RPing for well over 15 years, but due to life and mental issues, I’ve had to take a break for a while. I really miss writing, so I’m looking for something to get me back into that creative headspace!
I actually don’t have anything super specific that I’m looking for. Either totally fandomless world and characters we create on our own, or I’m in various fandoms (including Hannibal, Hazbin Hotel, The Walking Dead, JJBA, Rick and Morty, and tons tons tons more).
I only write female characters, looking for mxf pairings, but also open to fxf.
Some tropes/themes I’m a sucker for: Age gap, Height differences, sexual tension, enemies to lovers, nonhuman x human (vampires, demons, etc..), Possessiveness/obsession.
Definitely must include Romance and smut (smut is not the main focus, but I enjoy including a good bit of it through the plot). Dark themes can be expected as well.
Please understand I may not be able to reply every day as I have a full-time job, going to grad school, and I do still suffer from some mental issues that may kill my motivation. I can chat ooc every day though! I love to share music, visuals, headcanons, etc about our characters, and it would be great to have someone be as equally excited as I am, otherwise I will honestly eventually get bored.

✂ A fandom that you feel isn't open and accepting?
Now I'm not speaking from any recent experience here. But back in the old days I tried to get into the Fate community. And I did not have an easy time. The other two I've tried to get into I had a much easier time with, but not that one.
✖ How has Tumblr RP changed since you started?
Oh, how hasn't it? When I first joined the RP scene, we had a thing called ask blogs, usually run by artists who also did a sort of RP, but entirely through asks. I don't think I've seen one of those in over a decade now. It's a shame because it's a structure that I actually do better with since it's more short-term, and I struggle with long-term stuff - as everyone probably already knows.
Aside from that though, the idea that you should reblog an ask meme from the source was also unheard of, but reblog karma was considered common courtesy - if you were gonna reblog an ask meme from someone it was just polite to send them something first. Multimuse blogs were also not nearly as common as they are today. I actually don't think I know of any single-muse blogs these days, though that's probably just my poor memory at work.
Do I like the way things are now vs then? In some ways, yes. In other ways, I miss ask blogs.
♒ Thoughts on the fandom you're currently rping in?
I don't think I've enjoyed being in any fandom as much as I've enjoyed being in Touhou. The welcoming status is off the charts and the overall character quality is pretty high too, I think. And while I'm not always the most active, even when I'm just lurking I'm always finding fun things to read. It's great. No complaints here.

🥳 Why did you start writing fanfic?
I've always been a creative person, I guess! Even though I study compsci now, art in all its forms has always been a huge part of my life. From the age of 12, which is when I got into internet fandom, I've almost always been RPing or writing fic, one way or another. I think it's less that I had a concrete reason to start and more that the only way I wouldn't have ended up writing was if I had ended up drawing instead.
🦈 Which character is the toughest to write?
Of the ones I've written more than once? I'm always a bit unsure about my GaruKaru. I think I have the broad strokes down but not the nuances, which makes me feel unsteady.
Of the ones I don't really write... I mean, there's a reason I don't write them. Edmond's hard because tsunderes are hard, and the angry-shy routine actively turns me off so I don't always pay very close attention. Yakumo's so easy to flanderize that I've ended up wary of writing him because I don't want to do him dirty. Kuya is tricky, because I really dislike his canon toxic bastard-ness; when I talk about Kuya I always follow Kuya fans' cues on how they fanonize him into being softer, because I don't want to be That Guy who misses the point of a character and changes that character into something their fans would dislike. Now that I'm working on a quinei fic I'm also reassessing how I approach Quincy, because since the last time I wrote him I've come to realize he's more layered than I thought.
...Yeah, the real answer is fucking everyone is tough to write. [shakes fist] why are you all so complicated, damn you.
🤩 What led to your interest in the fandom?
I downloaded the game as a joke and then was like. Holy shit, this is actually a good game? It just happened to be when my interest in FFXIV was on a downswing and also happened to hook the fandom-engagement part of my brain, which not everything I enjoy does.
I've honestly become less interested in the wider fandom as of late, because there are some real assholes out there. Tumblr nuca fandom has a lot less activity, but we're also smaller and much queerer so I don't have to witness some of the mind numbing bullshit present on other platforms.
