tomorrow me and K depart for southerly climes! I'm in the US for two and a half weeks, where the good people of Philadelphia, New York, Boston and parts of Maine will all have to tolerate that the British are coming. Four cities, seven rail journeys, two weddings, many friends and also a lovely fannish friend is sending my oldest friend a small, adorable, crochet psychiatrist to be my friend. Allons-y.
Younger kidlet *loves* Almond Joys. So when I saw this:
I knew we had to try it.
Y'all... I forgot how much I detest dipping things, fully, in chocolate. Strawberries, peanut butter buckeye cookies, & half dipping cookies/biscotti is fine, but total coverage? Blergh!
Chocolate-Coconut Coffee Creamer: A Winning Combination
A few years ago I came across Almond Joy flavored coffee creamer and it quickly became my all time favorite flavor. But then it became harder and harder to find in my area. Eventually I gave up. Instead, I took one my husband’s empty bottles, because he buys a flavor he likes in a very large bottle, and mixed together inside of it one regular size bottle of coconut cream, and a small size bottle of cafe mocha. I don’t know if anyone else does this, but to me it is wonderful!
And just because I’m talking about this on my coffee break at work, what do you guys think of this?
Coffee cup bathtubs! I kind of like the idea actually. But it would absolutely have to be in a home that I know that I would live in forever.
Why i shouldn't be allowed access to the replicator from Star Trek:
Starfleet Guide: "Alright, and this here is the replicator. observe. Computer, Coffee, Hot."
A cup of hot coffee appears on the replicator's tray
Guide: takes cup "You see? It's very quite simple to u-"
Me: "Computer, Almond Joy the size of a brick, Slightly cold!"
A ridiculously oversized candy bar appears on the replicator's tray.
Guide: "..."
Me: "I'm so going to regret this later, but i don't care."
