The One Minute War is such a neat concept because the aliens are not only on a level playing field with the Flash family but they're also leagues ahead of them.

The Aliens and the Flash family both have superspeed so that almost cancels out. They're both as fast as each other so there's no speed advantage either way. So then you just have an entire army of highly trained soldiers vs two old guys, a middle-aged man, a young mom, a young dad, a pregnant lady, around four teenagers and some kids. Just on numbers alone the Flash family is at a huge disadvantage.

And that's not even taking into account that the Aliens have superspeed powered ships and weapons! The Flash family has nothing! They literally fight with their fists!

And last, but certainly not least, the Aliens have backup. An entire planets worth. And the Flash family? It's just them. There is no one else that can even comprehend that there is an alien invasion going on, let alone be able to fight in it. This entire war happens in 60 seconds at a speed that makes everyone else on earth look like statues.

This is literally just a family fighting for the fate of the world against an entire alien armada with no powers, weapons or backup.

They're running in teams because there are still too many of them for one poll and I was OTL. I'll just make them duke it out individually later.

Also no I'm not including Barry, Wally, or Bart because of my last poll. I should have expected the Bart sweep, so now we're giving our love to the less appreciated speedsters.

Owen still counts as a speedster in my heart (He's Meloni's son and has a connection to a long line of speedsters. He counts.) You can't convince me otherwise.

I still think it would be cool if Barry never fully recovered from having his legs shattered that one time and sometimes had to use mobility aids. Because A) hey look representation of disabled people who use multiple levels of mobility aids! but also B) it would be super fun if he continued to just zip around in a wheelchair sometimes. Or on crutches.

Some assorted speedsters: Liz Harmon, Alinta Harkness, and Grant Wilson

Liz/Trajectory interned at LexCorp, where she was able to successfully synthesize a version of the drug Velocity that gave her access to the Speed Force. After spending some time on LexCorp’s in-house superhero team, The Everyman Project, Liz fled the company and struck out on her own.

Alinta/Bolt is the younger child of Digger Harkness and half-sibling of Owen Mercer, the Captains Boomerang. After spending some time attending Titans Academy on Wally’s recommendation, Alinta left to explore to the multiverse, ending up on Earth-3 as former-President Waller’s Justice Squad continued to wage their war on the Crime Syndicate.

Grant Wilson--formerly Ravager--was dead for years before being revived by the speed force for unknown reasons. He was quickly snapped up by his parents--long since separated but never officially divorced--who put him to work as a member of Defiance, Deathstroke’s attempt at creating his own Titans, to disastrous effects...
