MY BLORBO!!!! i drew him a lot today but i wanted to try and make him seem more traditionally bat-like bc COTL bats are sure… interesting!!!! I think the arm wings add SO MUCH to him but at the same time make him feel like a completely diff character. I havent decided if i hate it yet

There’s sm more Bat practice under the cut bc his stupid ass face is rlly hard to draw sometimes. There’s some mild nudity (censored ofc im not cray cray- but still, its nothing untypical of ur average Rite of Lust in the actual game) bc I wanted to try actually drawing his body in full since I haven’t actually drawn it!! Lambe does not have any interest in romance, he’s very close friends with Sozo but that’s as close as he gets. we ship em a little haha !! never actually gonna happen though,,

Rem doesn't really care for romance either, but there are certain,, emotional investments with a few followers wink wonk (qpr !!)

as for me ? [this entire au started because I made a self-insert bc I fell head over heels for Heket the first interaction I had with her because she told me to kneel and I said yes ma’am]

to be truthful, it’s a bit,, complex. romance with a former dictator/bishop/god who was directly responsible for the almost-annihilation of your entire species isn’t easy. Lambe and Rem were NOT impressed when I confessed to them hahaha !!! but we’ve figured it out after almost 50 years of marriage, (which I might add was a terribly embarrassing event on my end).

I use my fancy-shmancy mind-reading powers to allow her to communicate with me easier ! after she trusted me enough to consent, of course. and she doesn’t mind my blabbering hehe.

talking with her helped me find myself again - in a sense - after the Dark Times. I would tell her facts about all the crops and flowers, and describe all my followers’ personalities and drama. it was oddly comforting,, I was too scared to talk to her at first, but then it started and it felt so natural. I think that’s what scared me the second time. how easy it was to just, let go of everything her and her siblings had done to us.

but I think I was just tired of feeling hurt.

and she made me smile, and I made her laugh !! tried not to until her throat healed properly tho whoops.

gosh haha look at me, I could ramble about my wife all day. hope that explains enough hehe !!

Heket gave an abrupt snort through her nose, but it was enough to make them both look at her. She scribbled on the pad of paper, before holding it out to Lambert. They took the pad gently to examine it. Riddle: Can Gods be killed?

The mystery of the on-goings of the cult continues, with no proper leads as to who might be behind it. A trip to Anchordeep contains a strange incident where some of the denizens of the underwater grotto are nearly too much for a former God to handle, but also a visit to a cat Narinder is all too aware of.

Later in the night, the Lamb pays a visit to two former Gods in the healing bay; while Narinder's thoughts run so rampant that he decides to take a walk.

A certain 'old friend' is there to greet him when he ventures outside the cult.
