Lambe does not have any interest in romance, he’s very close friends with Sozo but that’s as close as he gets. we ship em a little haha !! never actually gonna happen though,,

Rem doesn't really care for romance either, but there are certain,, emotional investments with a few followers wink wonk (qpr !!)

as for me ? [this entire au started because I made a self-insert bc I fell head over heels for Heket the first interaction I had with her because she told me to kneel and I said yes ma’am]

to be truthful, it’s a bit,, complex. romance with a former dictator/bishop/god who was directly responsible for the almost-annihilation of your entire species isn’t easy. Lambe and Rem were NOT impressed when I confessed to them hahaha !!! but we’ve figured it out after almost 50 years of marriage, (which I might add was a terribly embarrassing event on my end).

I use my fancy-shmancy mind-reading powers to allow her to communicate with me easier ! after she trusted me enough to consent, of course. and she doesn’t mind my blabbering hehe.

talking with her helped me find myself again - in a sense - after the Dark Times. I would tell her facts about all the crops and flowers, and describe all my followers’ personalities and drama. it was oddly comforting,, I was too scared to talk to her at first, but then it started and it felt so natural. I think that’s what scared me the second time. how easy it was to just, let go of everything her and her siblings had done to us.

but I think I was just tired of feeling hurt.

and she made me smile, and I made her laugh !! tried not to until her throat healed properly tho whoops.

gosh haha look at me, I could ramble about my wife all day. hope that explains enough hehe !!

Been seeing alot of lamb n the gods on my page recently so here's their relationships in my save:

Lamb and Nari - The Lamb HATES Nari, doesn't respect him at all, and would've killed him if it weren't for the fact that it would prove him right, that they are now like him. They hate how he forced death where it didn't belong, because he was corrupt, he wasn't like the other gods, he was worse. Meanwhile Nari has sorta realized how bad he fucked up and shit man... was the Lamb always that beautiful? So terrifyingly and amazingly powerful? That's right, one sided narilamb that the Lamb will never return!

Lamb and Leshy - The Lamb respects Leshy but does think he could've toned it down a bit, left some flowers behind where his corpse laid after killing him, now in cult they treat him almost like a brother. Leshy thinks the Lamb is overrated but that they're fun to mess with and that the Lamb knows some good tricks, though the Lamb only ever brings them up as a bribe or when they're drunk.

Lamb and Heket - The Lamb and their family had been worshippers of Heket before everything had happened, knowing that a God of Famine was just as much of a God of Harvest, if convinced to play things a certain way. Now in the cult, they're married, after all, the Lamb's family were their most dedicated worshippers, and the Lamb truly did enjoy having Heket around. The perform food related rituals often together. Heket loves her spouse but also feels quite awkward and guilty for the whole, yk, genociding your spouse's species thing. Also the Lamb left mushrooms on Heket's body when they slayed her.

Lamb and Kallamar - They're on good terms with Kallamar, often giving them nice trinkets they found on their latest outing. They also had to ensure that no, even though they killed him, they didn't want to, and that they were very sorry. Kallamar is still a bit scared of them but alls well that ends well, right? The Lamb left some crystals with his body when he was slain.

Lamb and Shamura - They're more distant but still friendly, Shamura was the most recent addition to the cult anyway, and they tend to have memory issues too, so it's hard to build a solid foundation right out of the gate. The Lamb left some silk by their body.

Question for all shippers in the COTL fandom

ok, so we all know of Narilamb and most, i think, know of Shroomwool for lamb x heket.

but I must ask if there are any names for other ships?

like, what about Lamb x Shamura? Silkfleece, perhaps? (keeping that one. I like it.) what about other bishops like Leshy? Kallamar? and that's just if you want to stop at bishops. what about the other characters? like sozo? (maybe cosmica has one for that.)

why am I asking these questions? well...

after making a short Shroomwool one-off, I decided to try a Kallamar one to feed the squid simps and now I'm curious what the ship name is.

plus I find these interesting even if they just default to combining names. like with Narilamb and Leshycat.

just don't mention any shipcest here. period. zero tolerance policy.

Edit: apparently Leshycat is also called "Blind Faith". though I thought True Devotion was an AU not an alternate for Narilamb. duly noted.

this still leaves Lamb x Kallamar. suggestions so far are Inkywool (which I would personally trim to InkWool) and "Seafood Sandwich" for Kallamar x all spouses.

i myself am not plus sized or chubby, nor are characters i like and tend to draw, so i'd love some feedback and advice! Getting more diverse with my drawings is one of my personal goals anyhow
