I think Tim Drake deserves a villain arc. As a treat. Just like a little one, to get it out of his system.

Option 1: Tim hunts down the dregs of the League of Assassins, bends them to his will through money and influence, and starts building his own ninja army. This utilizes his management and organizational skills. If Jason is allowed to have a gang, its only fair Tim gets one, too. This would be terrifying and have lasting impacts on the world villain economy.

Option 2: Literally just Teen Titans Red X. Here he's using self sufficiency and stealth skills. Much more of a loner villain arc, just striking out for a little while and finding himself. Also maybe doing some actual Robin-hood-ing and stealing from the rich. It could be fun. And it fits his theme!

Teen Titans Academy is amazing!!! (Spoilers!)

I listed my favorites but there were a lot of favorites so this is a long post 😅

First you have Nightwing opening the class by introducing the lesson “Defense against the Dark Arts”

Kori and Dick are back together ❤️:

So, so many Titans shenanigans:

I always thought Tempest was a quiet one but what a lie!

Dick finds out about the son he never knew:

SIKE!

And then the all-star entrance….

The heck is that pose?! 🤣🤣🤣 Imagine trying to have a hard conversation with your not son-son and then this doofus shows up. Honest to God Deathstroke has nothing on Red X when it comes to annoying Dick:

He wishes he could have Dick’s attention like this. But Dick still becomes a real dad to the kid he never actually had anyway. Heart of gold. It’s at times like this that you’re grateful Dick doesn’t kill:

When the Titans are discussing it later Roy says wth I thought Red X was dead Dick basically goes hah. Like I’d ever forget that headache:

And here’s the surprising part: Dick greens flags the operation to conquer another planet but guess who the Titans work with?

The suicide squad.

Finally and most importantly: Dick’s butt is clearly still in great shape

The costume’s voice modulator hides Tim’s young, squeaky voice, but there’s not much that can be done about his small figure. The moment Batman finds him wandering around the rooftops with stolen diamond bracelets on his wrists, he figures the jig is up.

“I’m actually twelve and being coerced by my babysitter. Go easy on me?” He immediately throws his hands up in surrender.

Ironically, this is what convinces Batman that he’s just a small adult trying to weasel out of the consequences. Tim jumps and barely dodges the bolas aimed at his ankles.

“Who are you?” Batman growls at him.

“Never picked out a name,” he says, already diving off the building.

Tim’s grapple hook keeps him from becoming a pancake. He’s automatically moving, swinging his legs as he’s been taught without even thinking about it. Behind him, Batman gives chase, and Tim’s brain is going in overdrive to figure out how to lose him.

So I'm finally reading If You Give A Bat a Burger and it reminded me of another fic and I can't tell if was a crossover or not...

Danny (or maybe Tim?) goes to the Iceberg Lounge to steal something from Cobblepot, knocks out a waiter, steals their uniform, and manages to escape but gets noticed and, funnily enough, is told to take the trash out as he leaves. He does so, and later, Batman (and possibly a Robin?) finds him in a dumpster, where the stolen thing was hidden, and he makes some BS story about looking for a ring that belonged to his father.

Think it might've been Tim as Stray or Red X, but my brain keeps saying Danny...

Update!!!!!!!! It's definitely Tim. @proshipper-on-ship found it for me!!! Aren't they awesome???

It's Take It Back Now Y'all by TimTheToaster (tabletoptime), which, for the record, is one of my all-time favorite time travel fics. (Which also goes to show how shitty my memory is. The second I looked at the title, I knew it was the fic, but remembering the scene in detail didn't clue me in to where I knew it from.)
