squid, design by hisao fukui, folded with 6-inch standard origami paper really enjoyable folding process, lots of interesting creasing, and of course i appreciate the accurate tentacle-arm situation i wonder if maybe a thinner paper would have been better, since the arms want to fan upwards a bit, and the cone got slightly ripped from the sheer amount of layers involved maybe something with foil, so i could shape the eyes and beak better all in all really good though

the greatest tragedy of my silly little dragonfic is that tempest would love to be cat-sized. picking him up and giving him a squish and then setting him down somewhere different would delight him. racing around at 3am in secret to maintain his dignity in the waking hours is perfectly his MO. he would consider getting hassled for being too cute his god-given duty. sitting on someone's lap and purring at a healing frequency while glaring possessively at everyone who enters the room would be his favorite activity. unfortunately he is a 50ft tall dragon but he dreams a cat's dreams
