Obsessed with the idea of postcanon Des who moves in with a very begrudging Layton.

Pros: he's very good with kids. Much better than Layton, who is also always busy.

Cons: very annoying and smug and also a jobless former terrorist who can't leave the house without a mask on to avoid the papers

i will never fucking get over this btw imagine being a famous recently widowed (again) 40 year old man who has saved the world twice and you get a letter from your apprentice to come to america to solve a mystery with him and you show up and new york is looking even more fucked up than usual and you just want to see your son again but then he fucking pulls up on your ass in his 1954 honda swag and yolo wagon and tells you to get your elderly ass in the back seat bc the evil steampunk robot militia is about to roll up and then he takes you to some resistance headquarters where they ask luke whos this guy you just snatched from the retirement home and you find out nobody in america fucking knows who you are and your 14 year old son has way more clout than you and everybody just thinks you’re the boy genius’ loser grandpa

it's the year of our lord 2023 and I'm only now learning about Phoenix's and Maya's baker era

pov: you're living your best life making bread and a Lego figurine bursts into your bakery and now you have to prevent a girl from being burned alive as a witch

I love being a student in archeology! Sadly my professor indiana jones keeps not teaching class to go on weird expedition.

The good news is that he is getting replaced! I heard the new teacher is called hershel layton and I'm sure this one will be fully focused on teaching and not on going on expedition during the middle of the semester :D
