I’m not saying that Alice from Adventures in Wonderland is autistic…but I am saying that “my ideal fantasy is that I have the ability to escape from my day-to-day life and my family that I feel doesn’t understand me and go to a world where everyone is my friend, where figures of speech are taken literally, where social rules really are as arbitrary as they seem to me, and where my friends and I are all constantly practicing language and social skills together and I’m not the only one who feels confused by these concepts” is. I was on Pinterest looking for a reference to use for a family portrait drawing and OH MY GOD I FOUND A FAMILY WEARING HARE’S PINK SUIT (I call it the pink suit anyways). I seriously always thought that the Adventures in Wonderland crew custom-made all the costumes - including Hare’s suits (I mean, I’m sure they custom-made certain ones like Hatter’s suit). Like I thought Hare’s pink suit was possibly even a hand painted pattern.

The level of excitement I got from stumbling across this is embarrassing…

I watched a documentary about Will Vinton called Claydream a little bit ago and was surprised to see that they snuck in some WIP shots of an AiW Caterpillar story! These are from the Paperboy and the Scary Dog story that first appeared in Boo, Who? (episode 11). It's neat to see all the notes and things on the little paper clapboards. It looks like these were filmed in Feb of 1992, a little over a month before the show premiered on the D*sney Channel.

If you're a fan of Claymation or stop-motion animation, I would certainly recommend watching it. I wasn't able to find it to watch for free, so I rented it from Amazon. It's a love letter to Will Vinton and glances over his career and the events that created Laika studios in Oregon. It doesn't go in depth on a lot (in fact I feel like there might be chunks of information not included due to a lack of proper documentation) but it's still an interesting watch.

I'm asking to know if the adventures in wonderland characters like the queen or not, I have issues with knowing these things and can't tell

There's something I haven't been able to understand about adventures in wonderland and it's really confusing to me, I can't tell if the other characters like the queen or not? She's not the same as she is in the books and is really nice and caring, she's still a bit self centered and bossy, like any fictional queen. but it's conflicting to me how they act like they love her and how she's her friend but they still give her those weird looks and those comments about her and her appearance and her personality. There's reasons she'd annoy them but I don't know why they wouldn't like her, she's funny and genuinely cares about the other characters

I genuinely can't tell how they see her, someone help I'm confused
