look, i don't think people should approach/pet dogs without consent but when you get a non-traditional breed for service work (a malamute in this instance which is imo a very poor choice for service work), don't have "do not approach" gear on them, but then complain that people are coming up to you wanting to pet your dog i don't know what to tell you.

i've had people cross streets to pet my dogs when out in public. These dogs are ATTRACTIVE, big, fluffy, "wild" looking. The public loves these monsters. You are going to attract attention.
