I genuinely think lord death was smoking the grim reaper reefer when he made 95% of the decisions on how to run the dwma because there is no way in hell anyone with a functioning brain would decide an army of preteens should be the world’s last defense line against the apocalypse. They aren’t even learning math.

phil gets nightmares often, its not a new development or anything since he reappeared
what is new, however, are the dreams with caleb.
Hes a child again, elbows burning red from where he tripped and calebs quick to pick him up, assuring him that its okay, it was an accident, really, he knows he would never mean to actually hurt anyone or himself.
they're brothers, together forever and no one could ever change that.
the dreams hurt more than the nightmares.

one of my favorite things is elves having base 8 math. so you can have Situations™️ when someone in the dragang has a birthday. take for instance this hypothetical
Rayla: I'm so glad my parents and Runaan are back! And just in time for my twenty-fourth birthday!
Callum: your WHAT.
Rayla: My birthday!
Callum: no hold up a second. go back. you're HOW OLD???
Callum: so you were. you were twenty when we first started dating?
Rayla: yes? Is something wrong?
Callum: I was FIFTEEN
Rayla:
Rayla: WHAT?!?!?! How-- who-- what-- I think I'm going to be sick. You seemed older than that! I can't believe I-- so that means now you're--
Callum: Nineteen.
Rayla:
Rayla: what's nineteen

Umbral dragons are sleek, black or grey dragons with smooth scales that tend to live deep underground in spaces of darkness. Their eyes glow a faint red, as if lit from within, and both their tails and wings tend to be thin and fragile for their size, though they can fly just as well as any other dragon. They prefer to feed on undead creatures, enjoying both the flesh of corporeal ones and the ectoplasmic bodies of spirits, but few will turn down the opportunity for a living meal if presented one. They are a scourge on the ghoul empires of the deep dark, which can occasionally be used by the ghoul's other enemies, though rarely can the often sadistic dragons be trusted all the way to the end of a deal. As these dragons get older their jaws and shadowy breath can sap energy as well as cause injury, a trait that's often powerful against the dragon's larger and more dangerous foes.
Inspired by the Pathfinder 1e Bestiary 2. This post came out a week ago on my Patreon. If you want to get access to all my monster conversions early, as well as access to my premade adventures and other material I’m working on, consider backing me there!

Wait, what's the age difference between Jason & Dick? Bc you said that your age headcanons for them are 27 & 24, and then you said they're like 5 years apart, and then you said Dick was robin till he was 19, and then Jason picked up the robin mantle when he was 12? (Tysm for helping me with all the ages, they're confusing 😭)
A wee bit of a typo on my end I probably meant to say 29 as for dick being Robin I usually condense it so he's only Robin till he's 17, I'll go over how I find each of the ages tho myself Bruce is 18 years older then dick, dick is 5 years older then cass and she's a couple months older then Jason, Jason is two years older then steph and three years older then tim, Tim is three years older then duke and Duke is four years older Damian

here's what i think would happen if, instead of in their mid teens, wangxian had met at the age of:
1-5 years old: Instant Attachment, especially from babyji. those two kids who for some inexplicable reason just rly love being together even if they're so different they'd be glued to each other all the time, and even though wei ying would play with other kids, he'd always come back to sulky a-zhan's side. both are very very protective of each other too!
6-10 years old: you know that childhood friendship that just sticks with you, even if it didn't last for long? that friend you made during that one trip and never spoke with again, that kid who lived across your street and you still remember their landline number, a girl who shared her toys with you at the beach and you looked for seashells with. that type of friendship like from this post. lwj might have been hesitant at first, but very quickly they would have developed a deep bond, and affected each other so deeply in ways they would only realize much later. this age is CRUCIAL to your development as a person, and it's no coincidence that canonverse, this is also the age that both wangxian were extremely alone and vulnerable. theyd have a lot of fun playing together, and if they met again as adults, they'd both probably cry
12-13 year olds: a very performative age, where you're starting to try and find a place in the world and in society. lwj would be even more stubborn and even unfair to wwx, while wwx's teasing might actually get into cruel territory. if they first met at this age, i think they actually WOULD hate each other, might even end up fistfighting skfhksdh and no, it doesn't help that this is the age where you first start experiencing attraction. lwj would NOT cope well with *gestures vaguely* ALL THAT
