Oppenheimer is the clerk at the post office all the customers fear. He is tall, thin, and tallowy. When he works the counter, nobody comes in to mail anything. This pleases the postmaster. The postmaster is an unscrupulous man who wishes nothing was ever mailed. If nothing was ever mailed, he wouldn't be a postmaster. If he wasn't a postmaster, he doesn't know what he would be. But that is thrilling! The unknown! Adventure! Ha ha ha ha!

For Oppenheimer, his job at the post office is of the highest consequence. He saw it in a dream where the poet, Walt Whitman, sipped blood from the head of his own penis. If Oppenheimer is not a clerk at this particular post office, the world, as we know it, would cease to exist. Nobody would exist. Nothing would ever happen.

Having witnessed first hand how the Empire really treated the clones and then landing on a recovery mission only to go horribly wrong, Crosshair was at a crossroads.

Having to choose where his loyalties truly lied. 
Ending up shooting the commanding imperial officer, becoming a prisoner and an enemy of the Empire.

In all of this chaos and life altering revelations Crosshair had gained a new friend. Commander Mayday. The leader of the wayward group of clone troopers. The lot having been stuck on the icy planet for the longest of whiles.

After the dust finally settles an uncertain future awaits them all in a place they could not even begin to imagine…
