Zenigata posting on twitter like "2 months update of the thieves I found in a bush. They are in their forever home now. Very glad I apprehended these criminals."
And it's a picture of Lupin and Jigen playing Uno in a jail cell.

Honestly I think if you made a "nygma balls" joke to the Riddler he would just keel over and fucking die like a fragile Victorian gentleman.

Never before have I unironically used the phrase Mary Sue, but what they did with Carter in this final episode was just fucking nuts man. Kohhori was cool, I like her, but giving Carter every fucking major weapon in the canon? And then having the fucking WATCHER?? Jump in with that “it couldn’t have been me, it had to be you” fucking bullshit? She is not all that, marvel.
But you wanna know who is???
FUCKING STRANGE SUPREME.
I cannot FUCKING believe they made the most profoundly powerful iteration of a character, just to fucking throw him in the waste bin when it turned out people were way more interested in what he had going on than what Carter was doing.
There was no reason they couldn’t have made her interesting without nerfing everyone else, except that they don’t fucking know how apparently because marvel is fucking trash these days…
Seriously, there are two big ways to ruin any interest people have for a character you plan to make the face of a show/arc/phase. One, shove them in every episode and keep forcing them into plots where people don’t want them. Two, fucking killing off better characters for taking up the limelight! Look, I like the idea of Strange fighting the amalgamation of his grief, but there’s no reason he should have died over it, especially when Carter is in the same boat. This episode would have been way better if we got rid of the forced high stakes, and just had two characters suffering the same kind of grief talk it out with each other, find a way to heal, maybe by leaning on each other a little bit. They are unique in the sense that they are always lost in time, struggling to find their place.
Marvel used to capitalize on character moments like these, use them to build up their characters and give them some sense of home to keep them moving forward as heroes. Now they just kill off characters around their current Big Cheese to keep the focus on them. When did this become storytelling? When did this become cinema?
I’m fucking tired of marvel’s shit man, and I want Strange Supreme back…

I love when Lupin is self aware to a fault.
He knows he's got a reputation as a Use 'em And Lose 'em playboy, and it's rightfully earned, so he understands people keeping their distance and maintaing a purely business related relationship with him.
But then there's Jigen, who keeps sticking around and getting closer until he starts calling Lupin "Partner" and "Friend", and of course Lupin's response is to laugh and say "You think of me that way?"
And of course that makes Jigen back off, thinking he's overstepped his bounds and misinterpreted the situation, and he has, but in the sense that Lupin is DESPERATE for what Jigen is offering. He craves that closeness, not because he's lacked it for so long, but because he's only met a select few people in his life he trusts and truly wants to be close with, and Jigen is the reason he ever made such a list in the first place. Losing Jigen would be to lose everything, but being with him would be to love in the only way he knows how and hope Jigen would know he means it this time.
Its not a risk he's willing to make.

Currently like an hour and a half into Ghost Trick and I'm already completely convinced that "Sissel" isn't actually the real Sissel, he just assumed the first body he saw was his, the same way Lynne briefly took on the form of inspector dance pants after her second death before "Sissel" corrected her.
Im like 90 percent certain Ray of Light is the real Sissel.

Fix his spikes???
This is good!
Tumblr media
Outward facing spikes! Easily recognizable silhouette that can be told apart from Sonic! Stage presence!
But, THIS??
Tumblr media
What is this?? Bro’s head looks deformed??? Does that boy need some milk???
Why would you do this? Like, it’s not terrible but we deserve better than this, please bully them again.

It bothers me that Peter 'Same Playlist on For Two Decades' Quill and Stephen 'Knows When Every Song Ever Was Released' Strange never sit and talk about shitty old music no one knows together.

I don't like seeing this gif going around because I feel like it really misrepresents the situation, before watching the show, I was wondering why JIgen would be trying to pull one over on Lupin?
Tumblr media
And the longer gif is just so much more intelligible, really, I love having just that clip of Lupin II realizing that, his son's attitude aside, he's not gonna get his way here by trying to pull a power move.
Tumblr media
In the whole of the series, this to me is the moment that Lupin and Jigen's relationship became what it is. The scene where Lupin steals Jigen's heart is great too, but it more so represents the sentiment behind their bond, as well as being their little makeup sesh after Jigen tried to leave and then considered shooting him and all that. This gif right here though, it's so powerful in a much different way. Lupin gets into all sorts of trouble and drags Jigen into saving him, but that's not what this is. Arguably, Lupin II is doing what he has to, to save his kid from Gaucho's plan, and before now, Jigen absolutely would have seen that as the smart option, dragging Lupin away because he's just some in over his head rich kid. He would have let it happen. But Lupin has Jigen's heart now, and that means defending him even when he's not in danger, because he's not protecting some silly kid anymore, he'd defending the way of life and the path he and his partner have chosen, and that's so drastically different. It's also such a good contrast to that scene on the rooftop earlier, where Shinobu stood between Lupin and Jigen, and now Jigen stands between Lupin and his father. The priorities have changed.

Ok, ok, Lupin Zero fic where Lupin gets shot and just loses his ever-loving mind, crying, doesn't want to be touched, snapping at people and just refuses to be consoled.
And of course Jigen is like, reel it in, rich kid, I get its your first time but you'll be fine, usually nothing gets to you like this.
But then Lupin tells him that it isn't his first time, and he shows him the scar where his grandfather shot him in the stomach when he was six in some ass backwards attempt at teaching him a lesson, and for the first time since getting shot, Lupin smiles at Jigen and just says "I used to think they loved me."
And Jigen wants to feel confused but he knows that "they" means his grandfather and his father, and maybe even Yoko too now, just everyone that chose a path that drove a stake through Lupin's heart.
So Jigen sits with Lupin, and says nothing, and hopes he understands that that means he's felt this too, because if he says the words "Well, I love you", he knows by experience Lupin won't believe it.

Theres a certain heartbreaking consistency with which Gumshoe complains about his salary in the second Ace Attorney game, they keep such careful track of when he gets down to not being able to afford peanut butter, and then when he gets bumped down to barely affording ramen, then he can't afford ramen at the discount store, then he gets fired, and at that point everyone is so desperate to hear from Maya and I'm just sitting in the back like "Someone please make sure this man isn't starving on top of being stalked and beaten by an 18 year old with a mean streak."
AND THEN he runs into a telephone pole while speeding and we dont even stop to be like "Hey what if Gumshoe is dead because he was so desperate to help get Maya home safe that he put his life in danger to do so?" No, instead Phoenix is like "damnit, how could he crash now of all times?"
And honestly all I'm saying is that Phoenix is kind of an asshole, and if you think you have evidence that says otherwise, let me remind you that Edgeworth had a really bad panic attack in the first game because of an earthquake that reminded him of the one that almost killed him and actually did kill his father, and said panic attack occurred while he was in prison for a crime he didn't commit...
...and when Phoenix saw him curled up in a ball on the floor of the holding cell, shaking, he laughed and left.

I like hitting characters with the Stupid Himbo beam just for the fuck of it sometimes.
Bam! Lupin can't wrap presents, if he's ever given something it's in the box it came in or it looks like a racoon tried to eat the paper.
Pow! Goemon can't use any blade that's not his perfectly honed Zantetsuken, he's committed serial arson by pure accident while trying to make a sandwich with a butterknife.
Zip! Jigen is gay.

I’ve decided Lupin and Jigen have been married since they were kids.
One day Jigen’s father goes too far, far enough that Jigen realizes he needs to leave, and Lupin is there to comfort him.
Jigen is like “Got a room to spare at that mansion, rich kid?”
And Lupin just smiles and says “I’ll put your name on the damn deed if you want.”
And they go home, and Shinobu asks if Jigen is staying the night and Lupin says “He lives here now, because we’re married.”
And then they just go on as normal, lol, Jigen never brings it up or disputes it because the idea of it makes him blush so badly he can’t speak.

A lot of actual theorists have qualms with MatPat, but I feel like his content is perfect who people who don't really want a super accurate and in depth description, they just want to know what the big deal is about *insert property*.
"What the freaks up to over there?" type mentality.
