QUEEN GIVES LATE BROTHER-IN-LAW HIGHEST HONOUR
Queen Emilia today welcomed her two nieces, Dr. Emily Dorsey - Darcey-Weston, The Duchess of Fjord; and Mrs. Olivia Dorsey-Chegeya, to the palace for a very special occasion.
It was announced earlier today that Her Majesty The Queen has posthumously bestowed upon his late brother-in-law, Adam Dorsey, The Brindleton Royal Cross for gallantry and services to the Crown. The award, which is arguably the highest honour a monarch can bestow, is only ever given to Brindleton citizens who have shown great courage and unwavering fearlessness in the service of the country.
Adam was the first husband of Princess Alice, now Alexandra, Empress of Shang Simla. Adam, then fresh from his stint in the military, was hired as one of the security details of the late King Leopold and Queen Ophelia. As it turns out, however, and unbeknownst to the King and Queen, Adam took a liking to then nineteen year-old Princess Alice. A relationship between the two eventually blossomed, notwithstanding the five-year age gap and the massive difference in social status.
Tumblr media
(Above: Adam Dorsey and Princess Alice on their wedding day.)
After almost two years of dating and despite multiple attempts of The King and Queen to break them up, Adam and Alice wed. The King was "cornered" and reluctantly gave consent - however, it came with a price: Adam would not be given any titles nor a royal stipend; and any children they would produce would be deemed commoners and not included in the line of succession. Also, while Princess Alice was allowed to keep her royal titles, she was prohibited from using it in any capacity. She was also essentially banished from the palace, and was even made to surrender all her expensive belongings, including jewellery, designer clothes, bags, and shoes, and even her birthday tiara, which was given to her as an 18th birthday present.
Eventually, the couple had two children - Emily and Olivia. Adam struggled to keep a job, which was rumoured to be because of spiteful King Leopold's orders. Through the help of (then) Crown Princess Emilia, King Leopold eventually took pity on Princess Alice and allowed them to live in one of the staff cottages in the palace grounds, under the condition that Adam resume his position as a royal aide in order to afford rent.
Adam was one of the on-duty royal guards during an official engagement to the park, which included King Leopold and a young Princess Anya. However, an attacker open-fired on His Majesty. Adam, who was standing close to Anya and the King, shoved Anya out of the way and leaped in front of the King, taking a bullet for the latter. Both the King and Anya survived. However, despite immediate medical attention, Adam passed away the next day.
Tumblr media
Today marks the anniversary of Adam's death and The Queen has marked it with a touching gesture. The award was received by his daughters. Empress Alexandra was not present for the event.
Both Emily and Olivia shares a close bond with their "Aunt Lily and Uncle Jack." In fact, the Queen has been heard referring to her nieces as her "darling girls." The two are also very close with their royal cousins, especially with The Crown Princess. Anya is godmother to both Emily and Olivia's children.
Emily and Olivia are also said to have been awarded the Queen Emilia Royal Family Order by their aunt, although they have yet to be seen wearing it.

Listening to two season 5 era Nygmobblepot playlists I put together that, while very catchy and grounded in a love story I hold dear, are far from joyful. Particularly Ed's which is post-5x11, where he knows he has BIG feelings, but feels clotheslined by his actions in season 3. "That" is not something he can ask for from Oswald, so he's settling for staying in his orbit and keeping the knives out of his back.
Tumblr media
i'm getting sentimental over you (tommy dorsey and his orchestra)
you don't know what love is (chet baker)
rehab (amy winehouse)
april fools (rufus wainwright)
don't say nothing bad about my baby (the cookies)
(what can i say) after i say i'm sorry (dinah shore)
telephone (electric light orchestra)
to love somebody (janis joplin)
am i blue (billie holiday)
last dance (donna summer)
they didn't believe me (dinah shore)
i'll call you mine (the zombies)
everything happens to me (chet baker)
i'm not okay (i promise) (robyn adele anderson)
just a gigolo (louis prima)
show me the way to go home (irving king)
keep yourself alive (queen)
the way you say goodnight (magnetic fields)
[x]
And Oswald’s bridges the end of season 4, when he finds Ed’s dead body and goes through the standard Penguin ‘stages of grief’ in early season 5: try to stop feeling and make the world eat shit. All of which lands him squarely in the middle of the Haven crisis and, shortly after, Pena Dura: staggered by senseless death and how much Ed still doesn’t understand.
Tumblr media

don't look back in anger (scott bradlee's postmodern jukebox feat. maiya sykes)
sally go round the roses (the jaynettes)

The real measure of an individual’s character isn’t what he portrays to the public but how he treats people in private.
Truly righteous people treat others with respect and dignity when there is no one else around and no social credit to be earned for doing the right thing.
This distinction matters — especially for people who’ve made a career lecturing others on the appropriate way to treat people, especially those perceived as having less power in society.
But when no one was looking and nothing was to be gained, it seems Ibram X. Kendi used his power and privilege as the director of a think tank to exploit and mistreat the people who worked under him as if they were people who are beneath him.
Amid confirmation of layoffs being made at Boston University’s Center for Antiracist Research, former and current faculty have spoken out about Kendi’s mismanagement, “exploitation” and enrichment.
“There are a number of ways it got to this point, it started very early on when the university decided to create a center that rested in the hands of one human being, an individual given millions of dollars and so much authority,” stated Spencer Piston, a BU political science professor.
A Former assistant director of narrative at the center and a BU associate professor of sociology and African American and black diaspora studies, Saida Grundy, also described a lack of structure, leading to her working additional hours that were unreasonable, especially for the pay she was receiving.
“It became very clear after I started that this was exploitative and other faculty experienced the same and worse,” Grundy lamented.
With tens of millions of dollars flowing in from major donors shortly after the center’s founding in 2020 from Twitter founder Jack Dorsey, the Rockefeller Foundation and biotech company Vertex, Grundy also saw the missed opportunity to directly help black students at Boston University.
“Those donations could have been going to benefit black students.”
Grundy is correct that much of the donation money could have been utilized in objectively more helpful ways to serve the people Kendi claimed to be advocating for. But the line between rhetoric and action was a line that Kendi never had any intentions of crossing.
Kendi used the dogma of antiracism to project a new moral standard at a time when many Americans momentarily questioned their behavior and culpability.
As he demanded that everyone should check their privilege and feel socially accountable for the exploitation of people, he was simultaneously exploiting the emotions of a nation to solidify his nobility status among the upper class in academia.
Kendi’s boutique moral philosophy on historical events and human interaction has only made him notable among the upper class.
Those elites declare racial enlightenment over the naïve majority who prefer to treat people like they’d want to be treated.
The antiracism think tank operated more like an antiracism piggybank with only one man listed as its financial beneficiary.
Kendi’s interests have become clearer as time has gone on: His “research center” was for the benefit of one black person, not black people.
Remember the $90 million windfall Patrisse Cullors and the Black Lives Matter organization scored and their frivolous spending habits with donation money, buying mansions and funneling cash to board and family members?
Activist Shaun King has also repeatedly been accused of raising money for recipients and causes that never saw it.
This is a similarly disappointing realization after tens of millions of dollars have been placed in the hands of an advocate who has shown little regard to produce a return for his bold aspirations.
Kendi had systemic control over his own research center yet used his position to take advantage of the people whom he was leading and continued to reap the academic clout that legitimizes his profiting in over $32,000 a speech.
Kendi suggests that people should become more race-conscious to be better anti-racists, but I believe it’s more important to be elitist-conscious.
We need to be aware of the behavioral patterns and condescending rhetoric of the people who think they know better than us about everything.
If we were all good anti-elitists, we’d ignore the utopian rhetoric of social progressives and anti-racists and focus on their behavior.
This readjustment would help us quickly realize that race is a tool to distract us from noticing they are getting rich from dividing us into categories of human characteristics.
The only remedy to moral elitism is moral anti-elitism: This is how we have an anti-elitist society.

July 14th 1798 saw the United States' Consulate open in Edinburgh.
A measure of the growing confidence of the newly-independent United States was the large number of consulates it established during the closing years of the eighteenth century. President John Adams appointed the first U.S. Consul to Scotland on July 14, 1798. The Consul was Harry Grant from South Carolina - an appropriate choice, considering that state's strong Scottish heritage. The first known address for the Consulate was 1 James' Place, adjoining Leith Links -- the street now known as Links Gardens.
The second Consul, Joel Hart of New York, took over in 1818. Almost immediately, he moved to London to work as a physician, returning to America within five years. He held the post of Consul for Leith for sixteen years, as the U.S. State Department was unaware of his departure. Indeed, it seems that his only official act was to appoint a Vice Consul, who was left to conduct the affairs of the Consulate. This first Vice Consul was Robert Grieve, a local ship chandler with premises on the shore of Leith.
The next Consul, John Broadfoot, was also a local man, belonging to a firm of general agents and ship brokers in Leith. Likewise, his successor was a Leith merchant and agent, James McDowall, an American, from Ohio. He was succeeded in 1861 by another American with a Scottish sounding name - Neil McLachlan from Indiana, who signed himself "United States Consul for Leith and its Dependencies".
After fifty-six years in Leith, the U.S. Consulate crossed into Edinburgh in 1854, but it moved back to Leith in 1861. Ten different homes scattered around Leith followed, though the Consulate finally settled in Edinburgh in 1883.
It moved into its present premises on the stately Regent Terrace, pictured below in 1951. Seven consuls appointed since the 1990s -- Bobette Orr, Julie Moyes, Cathy Hurst, Liane Dorsey, Cecile Shea, Lisa Vickers and Dana Linnet, have been women, that run was broken in 2021 when Jack Hillmeyer became Consul General, U.S. Consulate General Edinburgh
Jack arrived in Edinburgh in August that year after serving as Deputy Consul General in Karachi, Pakistan, his record also show he also served in Brussels, Pretoria, Kabul and Milan.

I've been thinking about the astrology for what is going on with this latest twitter meltdown and remembered this article by Alice Sparkly Cat. The article talks about the period from last year shortly after Elon took over from Jack and there was instability and conflict with the company employees and all the layoffs.
They look closely at the Jupiter synastry between Jack-Elon and the Twitter platform.
Because Musk shares Jupiter with Twitter and not Saturn, I think that he is after something that Dorsey wasn’t after with Twitter. Looking it up, it appears that Dorsey made billions not with Twitter but with Square which is a payment processing platform. Okay, that makes more sense since there are transaction fees and all that. Dorsey kept Twitter pretty much how it has been since it started, which is a SMS format information network where you can’t edit your posts and are limited in character length. That’s Saturn. It’s not even that large of a social media site. It’s about the size of Reddit and smaller than Pinterest.
But Musk sees Twitter’s Jupiter. Jupiter is about growth and wealth. Musk wants to make Twitter big. He wants it to be profitable.
I definitely see where they're coming from with the Jupiter analysis -but also a very interesting section is what they started to talk about Saturn:
Saturn’s ingress into Aquarius, then, was significant for both Dorsey and Twitter. The opposition tends to bring what you started during the return into fruition. I don’t have enough information to really know what this is about.
I'm wondering if the Saturn retrograde has anything to do with the rate limit impositions. There's something about Saturn and restrictions.
Then I read this blog post saying that things are going to be moving around a bit now but apparently there are major changes in store next year. So maybe Saturn in Pisces is a good time to make a change lol
Tumblr media
It’s about messages (Gemini) and people power (Aquarius) on a global scale (Sagittarius)
This blog has a few predictions about when Twitter will see significant power changes.
The astrology tells us Twitter will be transformed when Pluto goes to 8 Aquarius, for the first time in over 240 years, starting in January and February 2029. Seven years into the future as you read this. The year 2029 will completely change Twitter. The technology. The purpose. The power (above all the shared power). These are the key Twitter astrology chart patterns to watch.

Serbest Piyasa
İnsanın ihtiyaçlarını karşılamada yapılan her türlü faaliyeti içerir.

OLIVIA AND KHARI’S BABY BOY MAKES PHOTO DEBUT
What a handsome little man!
It’s Family Day in Zauvuria, and today, the office of the Prime Minister released a photo of His Excellency and his family in celebration of the nationwide event.
The sweet snap shows Olivia, Khari, and their (sleepy) baby boy, Adrian. Although already deemed a “star” in his native Zauvuria thanks to paparazzi shots and sightings, this is the first “official” photograph of the tiny tot, whose full name is Adrian Khari Chegeya. Although not confirmed by the couple, most people speculate that “Adrian” is largely inspired by Olivia’s father’s name. His second name, meanwhile, is a sure nod to his father.
Little Adrian is the first child of the couple, and the second grandchild of Her Imperial Majesty Alexandra, Empress of Shang Simla from her first marriage with the late Adam Dorsey.
Happy Family day to all our friends over at Zauvuria, especially to Olivia, Khari, and our new favourite cutiepie, Adrian! With his parent’s genes, we’re pretty certain that this little bloke’s gonna break a lot of hearts some day!
