Hey to ADHDers out there who also didn't know this:
Acai berries have a stimulant chemical(Theobromine) in them. This means that they might usually make other people more perky or energetic, but if you've got a flipflop brain like me, they'll make you fucking Sleepy.
Acai is one of the main ingredients in the Starbucks "Pink Drink"; it not having much coffee in it does not actually save you from actively tranquing yourself by drinking it.
They're tasty little suckers! and there's no reason you can't responsibly enjoy em, just like you might coffee or soda! Just be aware of their possible effects on you, especially if you're taking any medications where you're reeeally not supposed to be taking stimulants.
(theobromine is also present in chocolate, tea leaves, and kola(the stuff coca cola is flavored after), and it related to caffeine.)
also the Panera "Charged Lemonades" have a lot of caffeine in them. like a LOT of caffeine. like "drinking two in a day is actively dangerous" a lot. if you have flipflop brain and stimulants make you tired or unfocused, do NOT drink one before anything that needs a lot of alertness.
