Currently reading: like actively? you will get through this night (by danny h) and aristotle and dante discover the secrets of the universe! but i’ve been “reading” babel at a snails-pace for months now 😭

Last watched: this is hard because i honestly just watch the same three shows/movies on repeat, but i did just start One Day on netflix (and i already know it’s gonna break my heart)

Im just saying, Kat as the head of engineering at Shinra is both a blessing and a curse.

A blessing because now Shinra has someone that puts their everything into making sure anything they touch or build is high quality and top of the line.

A curse because they have to deal with her insulting everyone's intelligence when it inevitably breaks under constant extreme use.

Okay so. You're bringing up one of my main obsessions rn. I also have some ocs that I'm developing, but of the ones introduced:

Nate Simmons my beloved. They could bond over their amazing families! (I mean, Mariana doesn't have that many sisters and Nate is the oldest while Mariana is the "middle child" but whatever).

Maya Puckerman. I mean... she's a Puckerman. They could be like sisters! And ofc tell Noah that he's an idiot (affectionately) lol

Mirabelle Ryder. Don't ask me why, I just get vibes from them. (Also, get a little girlfriends vibes from them ngl 👀)

The only thing I know for sure is that Kat would be very interested. Like, she would do her sooo many questions! (Mostly about her ghost-vision tbh). She's amazing at annoying people so I hope Clara is a patient person, bc she could start asking questions like a three years old if she is in the mood (you know the kid-phase of "why?". Sometimes that's Kat)

bf!bkg ignoring you because you won’t call him baby or handsome or whatever nickname you usually call him

“Katsuki— have you seen my charger? I can’t find it anywhere.”

You call out as you make your way down the hall from your bedroom. Your boyfriend is sitting on the couch, having a rotting party all by his lonesome to really live out his day off. It’s a rare occurrence for him to be so inactive, but you surmise even pro heroes can be lazy every once in a while.

“Kats?”

Still nothing. You know for a fact that he can hear you, because you can see the way he subconsciously perks up the minute you say something. Definitely charming, but not enough to quell the growing mix of irritation and worry (mostly worry) brewing inside the pits of your stomach.

You make your way across the living room, standing in front of his place on the couch. He’s still not looking at you. No matter, you just decide to straddle him instead. His hands automatically find purchase on your hips, fingers just a few millimeters shy of your ass.

“Katsuki. What’s wrong?”

“Dunno who that is,” he huffs, head turning to the side so you can’t see the way his lips quirk down into a pout. (Because he swears up and down that’s something he never does.)

“Kats?”

“No.”

“‘Suki?”

“Close, but still no.”

“Baby?”

“Yeah, baby?”

"Have you seen my charger, handsome?"

"In your desk drawer on the right."

You smile. You press an innocent kiss to the tip of his nose. He pulls you flush against him before you can pull away, capturing your lips with his, appreciating the way the two of you meld against each other. He tries not to look too disappointed when you lift yourself off him and stand up. You lean down to give him a fleeting kiss on the cheek.

"Love you, Katsuki."

"Think you've got the wrong guy, sweetheart."

Radioactive is her official fight song for Endgame (there's a video and everything! and an old video and I've written some of that scene as a songfic) but also Fight Song by Rachel Platten is one of my go-to for her!

13. what’s a secret about your oc that they would never admit? feel free to be as angsty or as silly as you’d like!

It's not exactly a secret but Kat never ever talks about what happened when Aldrich Killian had her in Iron Man 3

15. if your oc has a costume/were to have a costume, what does it/would it look like? what colors? cape or no cape?

here's the official art! Kat's costume is inspired by the Iron Man suits but designed to be more compact and sleek as she relies more on her powers and less on technology (though there is still a tech element for sure), and her colours are purple and silver!

20. your oc wears the gauntlet (without any detrimental effects on their health) and gets one snap to wish for anything they want. what do they ask for?

Kat would wish Tony back to life in a heartbeat 0 hesitation 0 concerns about consequences

30. what movies or shows is your oc featured in?

movies: Iron Man 3, Winter Soldier, Age Of Ultron, Civil War, Homecoming, Infinity War, Endgame, Far From Home, Eternals, No Way Home, Multiverse Of Madness, Love And Thunder ( I haven't seen anything since so idk beyond that )

I love how even though I have one muse Kat has a slightly different personality depending on her verse. It's even more obvious between my ff7 verses depending on if she works for ShinRa, Avalanche or became an experiment.

In Avalanche she is very stubborn, loud and confrontational and usually won't back down from a challenge until she either beats it or it beats her.

In ShinRa she is more calculating and toes the line between compliant and insubordination. Once she became the head of engineering she knew she could get away with more because she knows more company secrets but that also means she could have a target on her back if she ever became disposable.

If she ended up being experimented on her loud and confrontational personality is almost doubled due to her multiple attempts at escaping. After she's thrown into Deepground all her rage from years of tests has left her with a short temper and she'll usually have to be calmed down by either fighting someone to release her pent up energy or getting knocked out.
