throwback to when i acted so normal at the hospital after being in the worst pain of my life for 16 hrs and then sitting in the lobby for 4 more hrs and then them trying to stick an IV 8 times for them to forget to even give me fluids

#did get socks and a warm blanket tho those are always kinda worth it (not really)#they didnt even give me pain meds btw after i had asked multiple times #and yeah they forgot to give me fluids my heart rate was like 139 i got a CT and then an ultrasounds #then got so annoyed abot the fluids im like ok and had my mom *who used to be a nurse hook it up for me #this is why i will continue to refuse to go to the hospital btw nothing comes out of it #just me getting upset.#and having to pay like 16k #so yeah i have worse episodes now i just deal with it <3 #medical

Sorry in advance because this is definitely coming out of left field. But I know you’ve mentioned that you run and I was just wondering if maybe you have some tips for someone who’s starting out. I’m severely lacking motivation, but I know it will be good for me from both a physical and mental perspective. Thanks even if you don’t answer this ask, you’re always a lot of fun to see on my dash.

Prioritize making it something you can maintain

Maybe sounds a little generic but I think so many people are like "yeah this is when I turn my life around! I'm doing a Youtubefluencer Mega-Cardio Death Bootcamp 8 Week Video Series" and then do something miserably hard for a week and burn out completely because the idea of keeping pace with it is just impossible.

Start slow. Start easier. Prioritize making it something you can start looking forward to. If you wanna walk, then walk. Appreciate pretty things outside. If running for 2 minutes makes you miserable then run for 1 minute and trade off with walking. I started off like that because my running stamina was absolutely terrible. 1 minute running, 1 minute walking, and even then my running pace was slow. Find fun music to listen to. Like really fun music. 8th grade dance hits come on, no shame.

Set little goals for yourself you can slowly build on (even better if you have friends or family who'd be happy for you hearing about you setting and meeting goals.) And if you can't meet a goal, don't force it. You're better off getting into a mindset of "oh I'll be excited to try again tomorrow" instead of forcing it and getting frustrated or having a miserable time from overdoing it.

Also, gamify it. However you want. When I first got into running I just did it on the treadmill, and I'd use that time to watch anime on my ipad. And cool that became my anime time. My rewatch FMA time. After 2020 I now mostly run outside and it's my get outside and look at pretty things time. My make amvs in my head of my characters time. My plan-most-of-ABoT time. Sometimes I'll make up something REALLY stupid like "oh what if everyone was being held captive and the murderer said ill let everyone go if someone can run this whole running route"

Basically I think a lot of people shoot themselves in the foot right from the start by getting into exercising as something vaguely punishing, some like "i gotta clean up my act" drill-sergeant style endeavor that pits them against it instead of viewing it as something that's allowed to be friendly and slow and steady.

Like sure, discipline is still involved. But that's more about overcoming the "hrugh couch is so comfy" feeling and not about like, putting myself through a damaging and punishing ordeal.

Uhhhhh some equipment things

Shoes matter. Not sure if you have the resources to get really good running shoes (if you're looking, I recommend Brooks a lot. I have the Ghost 14 and they're comfy for both running and normal wear.) But at least try not to be running in like, ratty old falling apart ancient decaying tennis shoes. Running has a lot of repetitive motion so if you're in really crummy shoes you could end up with blisters or just kinda hurting your foot. Also I recommend trying shoes on in person if you can. Finding the right fit can be fickle. If you go to a running store like Marathon Sports or Road Runner they usually let you try shoes on and go run up and down the sidewalk a little.

(Secondary plug for socks. These are the kind I have and they're kinda expensive but it's not like I have to buy socks often.)

Also depending on the individual, sports bras can matter a lot. They definitely do for me. Another thing that's best to try on IRL if you can, and it's another case where high quality goes a long way. Unfortunately it looks like they discontinued the kind I have :<. I own 8 of these, lol. The first two I bought back in I wanna say 2016 and they're as good as the day I bought them, and this is with constant use. So hopefully there's something similar. (Also, protip: it's best not to put sports bras in the dryer. Better to hang them up to dry.)

Oh also! Good headphones can be important. Tragically I keep having terrible luck with "good" headphones breaking out of the blue so I don't have recommendations.

stepdads smelly sweaty feet

I've always fantasize about sniffing my steppdads stinky socks after a long day of work. When ever he comes home he takes his work shoes off in the living room. I try my best to sit right next to him when he does just to smell the fumes coming from my stepdads sweaty stinky socks. One day he left for the gym and my mom was gone too I had a chance to sniff his stinky socks and shoes. He had bought some new ones and left his other ones at home. It took a minute but I finally built up the courage to do it. I went into my mom's and stepdads room and there I saw his laundry basket with the socks from last night. I walked quickly over to the basket and took both in my hand and took a big sniff it smelt just like imagined it smelt ripe and it was crusty from the sweat drying and had a vinegary smell to it. I got so hard I had to put them down from the urge to jack off to them. I was ready for the shoes so I walked to the closet and there they were I looked at them for a while then went in for a sniff. The smell was so strong I had tears in my eyes but it had smelt so good. I had heared my parents door open I guess I was do distracted sniffing his shoes I didn't hear him coming in. When I looked back I saw my stepdad staring at me I was shocked and nervous I had butterflies in my stomach he looked up down at me then he finally said " were you smelling my old gym shoes". I had brock down and told him the truth that I had been wanting to sniff his feet for the longest he smiled at me. He told me to come here he had been at the gym I got a bonner so fast thinking abot how sweaty and stinky they probably were he said " you want to smell my shoes and socks go ahead". I got on my knees and took one of his shoes off and there it was that warm big smelly sweaty socked foot. The shoe smelt amazing the warmth gave it more power over me. Then I got to the sock it was so sweaty from the gym he told me he had worked so hard especially on his legs and that he wanted his feet worshiped I had siad yes sir and got to working on those big stinky sweaty feet. I had finally lived my dream of sniffing my stepdads stinky seaty feet.

Look, you’re right about me being annoying and not deserving Sock. But I know for a fact that at least three other people have liked me romantically. Probably no others ever have or will, but that’s okay. And no, I’m not going to do that - I’ve learned that that does more harm than good. And, to be perfectly honest, I don’t want to.

Is there something going on in your life I could help you with? Anon hate appears to me to be a sign of unhappiness - I sincerely hope you feel better soon, anon, and that you have enough support in your life from people who love you.

Hey, thanks for talking about this. I was kind of wondering about that very thing. Thank you for all the great art and story stuff you make!!!

There have been many things I’ve held off on exploring for this reason :’3 or even like - hypothetical things that I simply hope happens in abot canon.

Things like!!! Mob reuniting with his family, or his family getting the call at early ass o’ clock that Mob’s been found and going from dead asleep to 3 AM ADRENALINE AND NERVOUS SHAKES AND FORGET PUTTING ON YOUR SOCKS DONT EVEN BRUSH YOUR HAIR LET’S JUST GO LET’SGOLET’SGO. The heart drop that they might not even be let in to see him yet because the doctors are aware of the barrier and are cautious about making sure it stays down, the barrier coming on and off at the hospital and the specializations taken to build back Mob’s confidence on it, the cameo of Dr. Wong and how she’d toe the line of firm and gentle to help Mob in the ways that he needs. Mob finding out that Mogami had lied to him about so many things - about him being a ghost and the barrier and that abot!Mogami was just using him for esper juice, how the stricken the family would be to see how hurt their son was, the fury that would follow about it. The aspect of them dealing with prying, insensitive press. Everyone dealing with the complicated emotions of knowing just how close he’s been to home this entire time.

And that’s just like. early timeline stuff, not even /down the road/ stuff. I’ve had to hold back on drawing Mob crying after eating his mom’s cooking like 1500 times cause I’m such a dang sucker for that. I kind of slipped it in here tho bc,,, yeah.

I THINK ABOUT THESE THINGS A LOT BUT,, hgkjh I think the chance for them to come up in abot canon is fairly high, so I’ve laid off just in case

today daddy gave me the princess day he had promised so long ago!! it was so so fun! we cuddled lots, went to bed baff n beyon to look for nite lite but instead we foun REAALLL fuzzy socks!! im wearin em right now an dey are sooo comfyy! an den we went to michaels but we didnt get nuffin. an den we had yummy lunch! at tim portons! after aaaalll dat we went home an i was sooo tired so we snuggled som more. i was big for a lil bit so we talked abot stuff for when im little since dis was da first day he really tried to keep me little aallll day. an den i got lil again so i had him read me a story!! an we cuddled an played an laffed until he went home!

Worst Christmas Present

Tutal naman at pinag uusapan na rin naman ang mga regalo, syempre may mga inaasam tayong mga bagay na makuha ngayon pasko. Mayroon tayong wishlist lalo na kung ang mga ito ay essential sa atin. Kaso hindi nga lang lahat ng regalo ay katanggap-tanggap o minsan ay hindi pasok sa taste natin. Narito ang top 5 natin. Remember na ito ay natanggap ng ating kapwa tumblrista.

5. Face Towel na hindi nakakapunas ng kaunting pawis - @b4guhan

Bukod sa picture frame at mug, isa ang towel sa pinaka-in-demand na regalo ngayong pasko. Una ay dahil sa mura ito at abot kaya sa budget. Hindi mo naman kailangang gumastos ng malaki diba para sa isang face towel. Pangalawa ay madaling makahanap ng mabibilhan ng towel. Saktong sakto yan sa mga pinoy na mahilig sa last minute shopping. Para sa akin, wala namang kaso ang magregalo ng facetowel kaso ang masaklap lang ay hindi naman nagagamit dahil hindi maka-absorb ng pawis. Parang yan na nga lang ang trabaho mo hindi mo pa magawa. Matutuwa ako kung makapal na face towel ang regalo tapos malambot. Solve na solve na yun.

4. Libro na Part 2 ng isang series, wala naman yung part 1 - @thsdfnngslnc

Nagbabackground check naman yung nakabunot sayo. Tinitignan nila kung ano ba yung taste mo at magandang iregalo sayo. Kaso kung hindi kayo wavelength at hindi nya hilig ang hilig mo, for sure medyo fail din ang magiging regalo nya sayo. Sa mga readers, ang hirap magbasa ng libro na part 2 na kagad na hindi mo pa nababasa ang part 1. Lalo na kung unavailable pa yung Part 1, maghihintay ka talaga na mabasa ito. Okay sana kung stand alone books diba, like Dan Brown, kahit anong unahin mo sa series, okay lang. Pero kung Young Adult ito, naku, asahan mo na hindi mo na maeenjoy ang pagbabasa mo dahil sa kulang na kaganapan sa story.

3. Pad paper na binawasan pa na may kasamang blue panda ballpen - @inmylabyrinth

Naranasan nyo ba na magregalo na babawasan mo yung item? Like chocolates, dahil masarap ay babawasan mo na ang ipangreregalo mo. Wala namang masama siguro na magbawas ka ng item diba pero kung papel ang ireregalo mo, please naman wag mo na bawasan ng ¼. Magkano lang naman ang ireregalo mo diba, magkano lang naman din ang papel, ibigay mo na ng buo. At least may Blue Panda na kasama diba. Meron pa bang Panda Ballpen ngayon? Kinakain na ata tayo ng G-Tech at Dong-A ngayon.

2. 10 Kilos na Bigas - @serialkeeper

Tulad sa Other Bites ng Chritmas Gift post ko, isang sign na ayaw ng nabunot mo ang regalo nya kung sasabihin nya na “Ano ba ito? Gift o Donation?”. May nagbibigay pa ba ng bigas ngayon sa pasko bukod sa natanggap ni @serialkeeper ? Wala namang masama sa bigas, practicality nga diba? Pero madali namang makabili ng bigas. Madali namang makabili ng nasa wishlist mo pero yung purpose ng inyong exchange gift iba, iba parin yung pakiramdam na niregalo sayo yung item na gusto mo kaysa sa binili mo. Kaya ang bigas o mga de-lata ay iregalo natin kung ito ang nasa wishlist ng nabunot natin.

Ito ang pinaka worst sa mga worst kahit na redundant na ako sa sinabi ko. Like eto talaga dapat ang nasa Top list. Used socks??? FOR REAL?? And take note na may amoy pa yung natanggap mo. Dalawa lang ang nakikita kong dahilan kung bakit mo natanggap yan. Una ay dahil walang pera ang nakabunot sayo at nahihiya na hindi magbigay ng regalo, pangalawa ay may galit sayo ang nabunot mo. Ang gross! Smelly na yung medyas na binigay sayo. Try mong ibalik sa kanya yun, tignan mo magiging reaksyon nya. Grabe!

OTHER BITES

Medyo awkward kapag amg niregalo sayo ay mga personal things like deodorant o toothpaste and toothbrush. Mapapaisip ka na may putok ka ba at niregaluhan ka ng deo ng katrabaho mo? O kaya naman ay mabaho ang hininga mo kapag binigayan ka ng toothbrush ng monito o monita mo. Medyo awkward diba.
