summary: yeji stumbled upon a clip of you and your members on twitter and can't help but to get upset at the fact that no one understands 'personal bubble space'

genre: fluff and a tiny bit of angst

warnings: jealousy

a/n: AAAA this is my first writing so i apologize how messy and uncoordinated everything is! lmk if any of this has any mistakes and i'll fix them! feel free to request!

after an exhausting day of practice, all the girls sat around the tv hoping to find a movie or show in a way to take their minds off of their upcoming world tour and comeback.

upon getting comfortable on the couch, yeji was scrolling along twitter on her private account while waiting for ryujin to stop on a channel.

until stumbling upon a video from a ‘yuny/n’ account, in which the user posted what seems to be a clip from the recent vlive of your group, she squints at the sight of yunjin getting too comfortable resting on your shoulder while looking at you in a fond way.

yeji suddenly sits up which gathers one of the member's attention. curiousity gets the best of her as her thumb simultaneously scrolls on the screen, eyes glaring down at the comments under the post

‘yunjin is so clingy towards y/n, it’s adorable’ ‘y/n has given up in the middle of the live, she gave in to yunjin’ ‘yunjin and y/n is real’ ‘not sakura trying to grab y/n’s attention PLEASE’

the hold on her phone tightening, her mouth doing an ‘upside smile’ in frustration, dimple appearing right besides it

“they don’t even know who she’s actually dating.” she mutters to herself, rolling her eyes and ignoring her member’s eyes on her.

ryujin stops flipping through the channels, glancing over at the leader and wondering why she’s talking to herself over there. she's always known her best friend was weird but not THAT WEIRD.

“who the hell are you talking to?”

jisu snickers, coming back from the kitchen with a bowl of cereal in her hand. “she’s going through withdrawals of not seeing y/n"

yeji huffs, searching up the vlive and giving a watch herself.

1 minute in, she's already fuming at how chaewon kept smooshing her cheeks against yours.

"chaewon is stronger than me, i would've kissed y/n" yuna teases yeji, peering over the leader's shoulder in amusement.

the cat-eyed glares at the youngest. "shut up!"

hearing some loud squeals from her phone, yeji diverts her attention back down at her phone and scoffs at what the members are laughing about. in a form to tease you, yunjin placed a quick kiss on your cheek in which you respond with an eye roll and a tired sigh.

'saving this clip to my phone' 'thank you yunjin for bringing yuny/n back alive' 'we were dying of starvation from the lack of moments'

closing out of the app, yeji immediately rushes over to her messaging app and sending way too many texts to you, one involving that she's coming over and wants to see you because she misses you (totally isn't jealous or anything).

after getting permission from chaewon to take a walk, you take the elevators to the rooftop of hybe’s building where yeji and you would typically have your dates, either here or jyp’s building.

upon the doors of the elevator peering open, you see your girlfriend sitting down at against the glass walls of the balcony. yeji looks up from her phone and stands up at the sight of you.

her arms opening wide automatically at the sight of you running towards her, tackling her into a long awaited hug. she lets out a laugh at the way her girlfriend is clingy, stroking the back of your head.

"i missed you so much." you mumbled in the crook of her neck, still clinging onto her like a koala.

the older places a kiss on the side of your head. "i missed you more."

removing yourself from her, you pulled back and take a long look at the leader of itzy. "it's kind of strange for you to meet me at this time, out of nowhere too..."

yeji scrunches her nose, a habit she does around you because she knows how much you adore her mole. "i can't call my lovely girlfriend to come hang out with me?"

"at 4 am, it's kind of strange."

the older hummed, acknowledging why you would assume so. she bites on her tongue. wondering if she should ask about your members or not.

"what's wrong?" you ask, taking notice of how silent she suddenly got.

yeji shakes her head in response. but in reality, she's urging herself to communicate with you about what's been eating her up since the ride to hybe's building.

without thinking much of it, she looks down at the pavement of the rooftop in order to ignore your eyes. "your members didn't forget you and i are dating, right?"

you on the other hand, however, was too tired for this. it's been like this each time. in the past, she's even told you to stop coming over to the dorms because it makes her feel uncomfortable with how close you are with ryujin and yuna. which you happily complied, trying and understanding from your girlfriend's point of view.

"huh?" now, what seems to be the issue now?

yeji shrugs, releasing her grip on you as she mutters under her breath while walking over and leaning against the balcony in an attempt to calm herself. "they seem to love clinging onto you like you're their girlfriend, huh?"

realizing that your beautiful girlfriend is jealous, a small grin makes its way to your face. you squeal in your head, following where the older is and hugging her from behind.

"you're jealous! that's so cute!"

yeji hangs in mouth in shock and turning around to face you, denying it immediately. "i'm not jealous!"

"you are too~" you tease your girlfriend, giggling at how the older girl is acting and placing a quick peck on her lips. "i only love you, you know that."

the leader of itzy rolls her eyes, ignoring the blush that crept up on her cheeks as she turns back around to look at the city down below. "i'm not jealous."

"you're so cute!"

So fun little Oat fact, I dated pretty much primarily girls in my teenage years, something about teenage Oat was able to get pretty much any girlfriend I wanted (this isn't me bragging, to this day I don't understand what I did but that's just how things played out.)

That all being said...

I haven't dated a girl since I was a teenager but my taste has not changed at all. Choi Yuna, goddess that you are, I would've been so obsessed with her. I would've made such a fool of myself trying to get her attention.

i am so happy to see them moving forward because people usually think the only way to move forward is after healing and getting rid of the pain and the people who caused(which is important in some cases) it but moving forward doesnt mean to always heal but moving towards healing and the first step is forgiveness and maybe reconcile, you dont need to forget but you can forgive, hyunjin still healing but choosing to stick by yn side and healing with her makes my hyunyn heart beat so fast i could get a heart attack (ur bad for my health) on another note i love the woo mafia agenda i need lix and woo to battle for yuna’s heart but in the end none of them win and she brings out a random dude or dudette and say” meet my partner 🥰”

chan and binnie are so jyp gossip i feel it in my nails

3: Best game you’ve ever played?

aaaa by what criteria? For most fun gameplay wise, Monster Hunter 3u. For most fun concept, Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise. Story, Undertale. Overall enjoyment, Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.

6: A game that’s changed you the most?

I think this weird little playstation game called Scaler was very formative to how I feel about animals now. It's about a boy who cares a LOT about lizards and gets transported into a reptile-dominated world while also getting to take on the forms of different reptiles. It's the first game I can remember that I was obsessed over.

16: Character you’ve hated most? From what game?

I have a pretty strong dislike for Dr. Ratio from Honkai: Star Rail, but my opinion of him is changing as I realize he actually cares a little bit about people dsaljf. I also thought Emile from Halo: Reach was a bit of a dickhead but, again, warmed up to him over time.

27: Has there ever been a moment that has made you cry?

Oh, tons. I cried in FFX when Yuna danced to send the departed, when Auron sat in pain at the gate of the Farplane and in a really meta moment when Yuna was the only character I had with an ultimate weapon. She'd outgrown all of her guardians and I was so touched aslfd

I've cried three times in Honkai: Star Rail in the last week! There was a point where a lady is trying to kill herself and you have to hold onto her. She snaps back that you don't just get to play hero in this one moment and leave her to suffer later and that... That fucked me up a bit. Aventurine also has a pre-recorded message on joining that party shortly after, again, killing himself (?). Then there was Aventurine's onscreen mental breakdown! I think Focalors's death in Genshin also got some waterworks.

Also Six's death in Reach. It was a GOOD ending. Shame they only made Halo 1-4 and Reach and then just stopped. Felt like they were going somewhere.

Oh and Minecraft has made me cry as a teenager! I opened up a new survival world, thought about how I have literally more virtual world than I could possibly explore myself with nobody in it and felt so overwhelmed with loneliness that I had to close the game asldfjsdfa.

Aaaaa women’s short program aaaaaa!

Shoutout to this audience for always applauding a spiral, and for several well-deserved standing ovations. Let’s have all the competitions be in Japan and Canada and maaayybe the United States if they promise to be as hype as they were at Skate America from now on

1. Lindsay Thorngren: She was just wonderful. Definitely my favorite from the US right now, and this is a neat program. (Did a spiral on the lyric “spiral”, I am a simple woman) And she did some kind of wild grabby skate thing, idk what that even was, but so cool. And so exciting for her to be in first! The people there loved her, too

2. Nina Pinzarrone: Very nice. I like her skating better this time, maybe she’s grown on me or maybe she was more relaxed or something. Anyway, I’m glad she also did well thus far after doing so well at her last assignment, keep the momentum going

3. Haein Lee: The jumps were better! I’m happy to see her in medal position, even if by the narrowest of margins. Pls be careful on your illusion. I also always support a program about sirens eating people, and I like her dress

4. Mai Mihara: Aaaa, Mai! I love her, the fans love her, it was so wonderful to see her, and she looked so joyful on the ice. She’s only this low because she did a triple-double, but it looked like that was what she intended, so as long as she did it well and she’s happy, I’m happy. What a wonderful step sequence

5. Ava Marie Ziegler: She was so much fun! She really sold the jazzy program from the first moment, and I loved the Ina Bauer, I can already tell she’s one of those fun skaters who thinks about more than the technical. For a second there the little box showed her flying sit spin was invalidated, but no, phew we’re good

6. Seoyeong Wi: Never seen her before in my life, she was nice. Her dress was so pretty

7. Yelim Kim: Argh the jumps. Argh, the Lutz was downgraded. Argh the combination. But she is so lovely, and the Ina Bauer. Please please please come back strong in the free?

8. Yuna Aoki: Low key my favorite in the entire thing. Skated first in front of a home crowd after not competing much at all for a few seasons and absolutely nailed it, so smooth, so fluid, so expressive, made everything look effortless. Also Lutz-loop- go big or go home I guess

9. Lea Serna: Argh the flip. But I love this program. Eivor is always a win, and she skates it with such ferocity. Also makeup on point, I never notice makeup, but hers was really good

10. Anastasiia Gubanova: Argh the combination! I was really hoping she’d come back and do super well and maybe even medal here after her score at her last competition made her so mad. Still possible, I suppose, Amber made a bigger leap last week

11. Wakaba Higuchi: Nooooo! The jumps! The jumps. But that axel was gorgeous, as always. Can she do an Amber Glenn? That would be wild

12. Lindsay van Zundert: Oh dear the fall and the downgrades. But it’s okay! I saw that she has an Olympics tattoo, I guess that really is A Thing and not just something a handful of people do. I only remember ever seeing her at the Olympics, actually, but I liked her. I hope she does well in the free
