It was just a typical night for Yukio, all tings considered. He would take care of a job, make sure he was all cleaned up, and get back to Satoru’s apartment just in time to make sure his boyfriend was properly resting after a no doubt busy day.

And that was the plan... up until he was about to leave the ally he’d cornered his target in.

“Hai, hai, I got it, Kaede-kun. The target’s all taken care of and all, so unless you need me for something else, I’m going--” He started dismissively, then paused when he heard a noise. A close noise. “...I’ll call you back.”

Knife in hand again, Yukio slowly approached the source of the noise he’d heard in the back alley, ready to take care of any witnesses... and then froze.

“Oh shit...”

A baby. A literal infant, wrapped up in a dirty blanket, on top of a dumpster. Looking around frantically, Yukio only had a second or two to think, before he just muttered “Fuck it--” and grabbed the tiny bundle carefully, quickly dialing Satoru’s number.

Definitely a change of plans.

He isn’t sure what’s gotten into him, but Liam is just rolling with it at this point. Besides, his words seemed to have done what they were intended to do. His hands are eager to touch, but he holds them back for a few more moments. After all, they were still very much in the public eye.

“Of course, I didn’t expect you to do it out here. How unsightly that would be, hm? Lucky for you, I know a few private places we could sneak off to, but that all depends on how comfortable you’d like to be.” He isn’t above disappearing into a bathroom; he’s done it before. “So, how private do you want to be?” His hands are no longer held back as they reach up to smooth along the collar of Hideki’s shirt, the pads of his fingers merely ghosting over any skin they could find.
