Masterlist!
I'm Whispereons and I mainly write yandere Genshin Impact fics. The SAGAU is my long time obsession if it wasn't obvious.
For ease of convenience I will have this masterlist pinned with my works, taglist, and tags used on my blog.
Currently I don't have any rules to abide by. I enjoyed all the comments, reblogs, asks and submissions I received thus far!
Just a warning for anyone new, I advise you to make sure your blog has some form of personalization. Like a profile pic, a sentence saying hello in your bio or even just a single post saying you're human will do. It's to prevent you from getting the report and block combo when I do my spam/porn bot purges.

JSBDJBDJDJ i follow like half of these authors in your reccs (ddarkerdreams, sagaumybeloved, throwawayyandere, chococolte, yandereromanticaa) BUT I literally binged the rest that you recommended so hard; their great. I don’t have much fics to recommend in return because yandere genshin is new to me. BUT, I have 1 fic I saw on ao3; I think you’ll like it. Dead dove, yandere, mythology AU, Love/Hate. I'm glad you like them so much! Yandere Genshin has so much content. Not even counting the sagau cult. There is a different type of sagau which you could say is the original.
Self-aware genshin is in which the characters are self-aware of the player and that they're characters in a game. At this point sagau is basically the cult so it's been buried beneath the sagau cult.
A good way to pass the time is that whenever I'm bored and want some yandere, I just search the yandere genshin tag on all of Tumblr. I find new fics and even authors like that.
Oh and I've begun reading the fic you recommended. It's really well written and their concept of Scara is super interesting to see with him being the pov.
@snxxiao with some good yandere Genshin.
@rainba who does the same (it's not explicitly labeled yandere but it most definitely is yandere).
@hunnieknight it's not fics but more like headcanons to touch multiple characters. What's super cool is that they draw art to match their writing!
@mayullla is a sagau writer who is most popular for their team comp asks. Like sagau with the player being the creator and everyone aware of that. It's mostly on how the characters will react to being in the teams that requesters ask. The box is closed unfortunately but I would have loved to send a ask on my team T-T

It's hard to pick a worst book because the thing I'd judge that on is whether all the stories are memorable and whether anything actually happens in them. Like, that anon who said all the Skarloey Railway books were mid? Those books do have a lot of stories that seem to be trying to make a brief stop on the rails a lot more of an event than it actually is. In fact, there's so many Skarloey Railway stories like that that I often confuse them and have to actually go back reference them to make sure I've got the narrative straight.
However, most of the books will have one or two good stories and then one or two of these goldbrick stories alongside. And that's true all the way through the series. So it's hard to say which one is the worst because almost all of them are like that.
But since you did ask specifically and I can follow directions, I'm going to go with The Eight Famous Engines since it has three stories that are about almost nothing. "Percy Takes the Plunge" is a nice solid outing, but "Gordon Goes Foreign", "Double Header", and "The Fat Controller's Engines" all feel like they have to be there to pad this thing out.
More than the question of which of his books is the worst though, maybe we should consider that Awdry himself was just not that good a writer. He was good at collecting trainedotes and putting his characters faces on them. And that's a fine skill to have, but a good book it does not necessarily make, as Awdry Jr.'s additions to the series go on to prove...
Damn, DJ sees "I'd like to nuke six whole books from orbit at once" and raises it to "Can Wilbert Awdry even be said to write?"
