Labyrinth Zone is going to make me lose my mind
#I'm playing the Sonic Minecraft DLC (Not the texture pack the original one that's a custom map)#And I'm trying to get the achievement where you reach act 5 of Labyrinth Zone#But there is some very annoying and stupid stuff happening that is just making it way harder than it should#You need a certain amount of rings to progress which increases as you progress through the acts#So you have to not take damage much#But there's Grounders positioned right by springs so that if you fail to react within the less than 1 second window you have#You lose 64 (or all) of your rings#And also there's a ton of doors that need to be activated with switches that are right in front of them#But for some reason like 75% of these doors just refuse to open until 1-2 minutes later#So it's stretching out the already annoying attempts to about 5x their normal length by forcing me to wait#Which also wastes a lot of my time#Krafter Talks

There are more texts and if Paige closes her eyes, she can picture her best friend throughout the day, hunched over her phone, fingers tapping away frantically. She'd almost texted her back, almost picked up some of the missed calls, and then stopped herself. She hadn't been ready yet. "You're just jealous," Paige huffs. Bickering with Azzi feels so natural, so easy; she wants to lose herself in the comfort of it and just forget.
"Of your new fortnite skin? Absolutely not," and Paige can feel Azzi rolling her eyes through the phone. It almost makes her smile, almost.
"You're awake pretty late," Paige says after a beat.
"Yeah well, iwaswaitingforyoutocall," Azzi mumbles and Paige's heart flutters.
"What was that?" she asks and this time she does smile.
"Shut up," Azzi sighs but repeats herself anyway, "I was waiting for you to call. Couldn't sleep without talking to you."
Sometimes Paige wonders if Azzi understands the gravity of the things she says, if she understands the way they hit a part of Paige's soul she hadn't even known existed until Azzi. She pencils the admission into her mind's notebook, in a list titled things azzi says that break my heart and fix it at the same time.
"You're such a sap," Paige teases.
"Only for you Bueckers, only for you." and there's mirth in Azzi's voice but there's a touch of of something else too.
Paige pencils this confession into a list titled maybe it's not all in my head, maybe you feel it too.
They fall into silence. There's something comforting about hearing each other breathe, about listening to the sounds of the other's heartbeat. And amidst the calming quiet, Paige finally feels ready.
"Az," she whispers, the rest of her sentence sitting heavy on the tip of her tongue, "I tore my ACL."
The words hang in the air like a thick fog that suffocates Paige. She's known it all day. She'd known it the minute she'd torn it. But saying it out loud is different. Saying it out loud is making it a reality, her reality.
"Fuck," she curses, as the first tear slides down her cheeks, followed by a second and then a third until there's a constant stream flowing down her face, "shit. I tore my ACL."
"Paige," Azzi says, and she's never been one for a fake it'll be okay, not when she knows it won't be, not for a while at least but she hopes, Paige can hear the i'll be here for it all that she wraps around the whisper of her best friend's name.
"I'm not gonna play this season. I barely played last year and now, I'm out again," Paige says slowly, the admissions falling down from her lips like dominoes, "I'm not gonna play basketball properly for almost a year. Fuck."
Paige doesn't really know a life beyond basketball. After her family, everything she had, had come from basketball. The game had given her everything, including the girl on the other end of the phone. As she finally admits to herself that the game's been taken away from her, no matter how temporary it might be, Paige feels lost.
"What do I do," she pleads desperately, "Azzi, fuck, what do I do now?"
It takes Azzi a moment to gather her thoughts, to pry herself away from the misery she feels herself and be strong for her best friend.
"Tonight, you let yourself break," she says finally, remembering something her mother had said during her own ACL injury, "and tomorrow, you start to power through."
"Right," Paige leans back against the backboard, closing her eyes and repeating it to herself, "power through. God gives his hardest battles to his strongest soldiers."
"And you're the strongest of them all Paige. You're gonna get through this and I'll be right by your side for all of it, " Azzi says firmly, and the promise of it, of Azzi being there, loosens the knot in Paige's chest just a little bit.
"I wish you were here right now," Paige confesses. In the grand scheme of things, missing Azzi is not a new concept to Paige. They'd been apart far more than they'd been together for most of their friendship. But it's different this time and she's not quite ready to give a name to dull ache in her chest that rise every time's she's not around Azzi.
"I wish I was too," Azzi says softly. She means it more than she can ever convey.
There are deeper things, deeper feelings, that they hide behind those wishes. And perhaps one day, they'll have the courage to not hide those three words behind platitudes of friendship. But not yet, maybe soon.

Why did Martin Luther reform the church?
Okay, you asked for it.
I’m going to try to do this bullet-point style for the sake of organization, because I know I invited you to ask about this, but at the same time. Man, what a question. This will be long-ish. Others, please feel free to correct me or add on if you like.
Martin Luther was not by any means the first person to observe the problems of medieval Catholicism, nor was he the first to attempt reform. John Wycliffe, Jan Hus, and others should be given their due, even if they did not set off a Reformation the way Luther did.
By God’s providence, Martin Luther and the newly-invented printing press existed in Germany at the same time. It is for that reason that he, not another, is the father of the Reformation.
Okay, so Luther. Martin Luther was the most scrupulous kind of monk, bordering on madness in his obsession with God’s holiness and his own sin. Yet after a trip to Rome in 1510, he found himself increasingly cynical about the cheap, transactive way in which he saw Christianity being practiced. Have you ever gone into a megachurch and had the horrifying realization that it had a gift shop? That feeling, but way worse.
Do you know where the magic words Hocus Pocus come from? Catholic Mass was said in Latin and the people, of course, didn’t understand a word of it. Even the clergy frequently found that learning the service rote was quicker than learning a whole new language. Thus, when the priests speaking Latin presented the bread for Communion and spoke the words Hoc est corpus meum, parishioners heard “Hocus pocus” and thought that the words themselves had some kind of power.
Luther’s experience in Rome led to a personal study of Scripture during which he found what would become the seeds of Reformed theology. It wasn’t fully formed yet, but it was definitely growing in his heart, so to speak. The bun was in the oven.
Johann Tetzel was like the P.T. Barnum of his day, or maybe a really sleazy televangelist. His job was to raise money for the Pope’s new basilica by selling indulgences. This involved ad jingles (“♫When the coin in the coffer rings, the soul from purgatory springs ♫”), overwrought sermons (“Can’t you hear the voices of your wailing dead PARENTS?????”) and even haggling over price.
Luther was not okay with this.
You can read the Ninety-five Theses here in their entirety. It’s a short read; each point is about one sentence long. It builds an argument against the way indulgences were being sold and it's s a great bit of argumentative writing, even putting aside the historical and theological importance. You should totally read the whole thing if you’re at all interested. However, I will pull some highlights here:
1. When our Lord and Master Jesus Christ said, ``Repent'' (Mt 4:17), he willed the entire life of believers to be one of repentance.
37. Any true Christian, whether living or dead, participates in all the blessings of Christ and the church; and this is granted him by God, even without indulgence letters.
49. Christians are to be taught that papal indulgences are useful only if they do not put their trust in them, but very harmful if they lose their fear of God because of them.
62-64. The true treasure of the church is the most holy gospel of the glory and grace of God. But this treasure is naturally most odious, for it makes the first to be last (Mt. 20:16). On the other hand, the treasure of indulgences is naturally most acceptable, for it makes the last to be first.
94-95. Christians should be exhorted to be diligent in following Christ, their Head, through penalties, death and hell. And thus be confident of entering into heaven through many tribulations rather than through the false security of peace (Acts 14:22).
It’s important to note that Luther posted the Ninety-five Theses on the church door of Wittenberg in an effort to be a good Catholic. This was not originally an act of protest; it was a civilized list of topics for discussion written in Latin. And, honestly, while the Theses did cause a stir, they absolutely could have blown over pretty quickly had Luther not, in writing them, basically been led head-first into a completely different understanding of Christianity.
To quote the man himself, “God led me into this business against my will and without my knowledge.”
What a mood, honestly.
Johann Tetzel was understandably ticked off that Luther had made him and his line of work out to be so sleazy. (I mean they were, but like...) He ran his little temper-tantrum up to his superiors, which through a long series of Church Politics, ended up with Luther famously debating Johann Eck in 1519.
Eck was a kind of a slippery debater, but he actually did the Reformation a big favor in the long run. He succeeded in expanding the issue from “Is the whole indulgences situation chill or not?” to “Who has the final authority: the Bible or the Pope?”
Luther said, “The Bible, duh.”
The Pope got a little mad at Martin Luther. However, for the moment, it still wasn’t a super big deal. Luther was just one guy, after all.
More importantly, the fact that the question of Papal authority was raised also got Luther thinking, “hey, that’s right! This whole Pope situation is kind of BS, isn’t it?”
Around two years after posting the Ninety-five Theses, Luther finally had something like what we might call Reformed theology. It was missing a bunch of stuff, but the important stuff was there. God doesn’t want us to be perfect, He wants us to trust Him. Sola fide. Sola gratia. Solus Christus. Sola Scriptura. Soli Deo gloria.
Naturally, Luther started writing a bunch of stuff.
A whole, whole bunch of stuff.
He got away with it for a while! But after a while, enough was enough and the famous papal bull excommunicating Martin Luther from the Catholic Church was issued.
Luther burned the papal bull and wrote a response: Against the Execrable Bull of Antichrist.

Luther got summoned to the Diet of Worms to stand trial. He faced down the HRE, the pope, burning at the stake, and the prospect of hell if he was wrong. “Here I stand. I can do no other.” He refused to recant.
I wish I could go on to talk about the rest of Luther’s life, about Zwingli and Calvin, Bucer, Knox, Cranmer, Cromwell, Chemnitz, and so many others. I wish I could talk about the extraordinary courage of the ordinary people who became martyrs of the Reformation. People who staked everything—their careers, their families, their very lives—on the fact that in the Reformation, the very soul of the Gospel was at stake.
In conclusion, Martin Luther was a badass and the Protestant lineage of which we are a part is absolutely glorious.

“This is your Monday night radio! It’s a cool 64° out and Tonight we got even cooler vibes. We got chill tunes that’ll be playing till midnight. After that we’ll turn to our podcast. Tonight we’re talking about Canada! Are they all nice, or is it all a lie? In the meantime, let’s listen to Monday mourning by Stacy sabers.
Cash let out a yawn. They always played Monday mourning on Mondays. The song wasn’t bad it just wasn’t his favorite. It was a sad song, something about losing a loved one.
The radio stopped playing his favorite song a while ago, but sometimes he played it when he was cooking. It made him feel… something. He didn’t know what, but it was nice.
Cash parked his car on the street and walked down the sidewalk. He looked down every alley he passed, looking for anyone in the dark.
He held his head high and walked confidently towards the club. He wore a tight black tee shirt that showed off his muscles and His jeans were dark blue. His shirt had big white letters on it that read, SECURITY.
He moved past everyone in line carefully, making sure not to step on anyone’s paws and tails.
He met with the guard at the door who was checking peoples ID’s. The guard looked at him once and stepped out of his way so cash could get inside.
Loud music blared from the speakers
Lights flashed
Bartenders serve patrons
he walked towards the back. He met with a lioness who stood in front of a door that wore the same uniform as him with the exception being her shades. He pulled out his work ID and showed it to her.
“Who do you think is gonna win tonight, Cash?” She said as she handed him back his ID
“Kane.”
“My man always wins.” She said smugly
The lioness stepped out his way as cash made his way down stairs. Cash didn’t work at the club, he worked below the club.
Cash stood at his post in the corner of the room with his arm crossed as he surveyed the room.
Below the club was a large basement. Patrons sat at booths with their expensive drinks. Instead of flashing lights they were replaced with red ones. A bar sat in the back, displaying all kinds of expensive drinks. On the wall was a glass plane with a room behind it. Speakers played calm sophisticated music.
Security guards stood in every corner of the room. All of them were big and muscular like cash.
A large arena sat in the middle of the room, it looked just like the ones boxers fight in. But instead of having those stretchy walls, they were replaced with a cage that reached the ceiling
This place was small and quiet compared to the club upstairs. But that didn’t make it any safer. The people here were the kind of people to get their money illegally.
But was Cash any different? This job wasn’t exactly… legal.
The nice music cut out from the speakers. “Hope y’all are having a good night! Tonight we have Kane going up against Rooth in the arena! Cast your bets with the lovely bartender at the bar so we can get this fight on!” The voice cut and the music began to play again
That’s weird. That’s not the announcer. It was a man’s voice. Nothing like the smooth seductive one he was used to. This one was more raspy and energetic.
The patrons all got up and went to the bar, Two boxes sat there, two lines formed in front of them. Each pulled out a wallet thick with cash. Cash watch as they all put in at least a total of 100k into the boxes.
A deer buck with black fur and a gorgeous set of gold antlers stood in the line for Kane with a gorgeous doe beside him, who looked half his age.
Another buck was there, he had calm teal fur and white antlers. He wore bright blue diamond rings around each of his hooves.
“Awwww you think Kane is going to win? How cute!” black buck smirked
“Rooth has won many fights before, I assure you she’ll win.” Teal buck said coldly
“My bets are always right.”
“Only because you cheat.”
Black bucks face twisted into a frown. “ I NEVER cheat!”
“Oh? I thought you had a wife. And this doe looks nothing like her.” Teal buck said while looking the doe up and down.
“Hmf! Says the buck with FAKE diamonds! Where’d you get em ,Claire’s?”
The teal buck stepped closer to the black buck. “The legitimacy of my rings is none of your concern.” A hint of anger radiating off his voice
“And what I do when my wife isn’t around isn’t either.”
“ I think your daughter would think otherwise.”
The black buck got into the other buck's face. “You leave her out of this!”
“HEY! You two calm down or you're out of here!” Cash yelled across the room
With angry huff, the two separated into their respective lines.
Cash growled to himself, he hated having to raise his voice. This was his job, stopping fights from breaking out. But that didn’t mean he liked it.
After everyone casted their bets they all gathered around the arena.
The music cut again. “It looks like all the bets have been casted! Now it’s time to let out the fighters!”
The crowd cheered
A door in the corner of the room swung open. A huge lion covered in scars walked out. He was a foot taller than Cash and muscles twice his size. He was obviously a bodybuilder. He stepped into the arena and flexed his arms for everyone to see.
A bear walked out the same door. She had tattered claws, five times the size of Cash’s. She went to the arena as well. She stared at Kane with her cold white eyes. When she growled, Cash felt it in his chest.
“In the right corner we have Kane the fearless! And in the left corner we have Roth the ripper!” The speaker said
People Cheered for their respective fighter
“Kill ‘em Rooth!”
“Tear out his guts!”
“You better win!”
The referee stood between them, they were a small mongoose sporting a black and white striped shirt.
They looked at the fighters. “ Are you two ready?”
Kane bearded his fangs. “Couldn’t be more ready.” He said menacingly
“Your life is mine.” Rooth said coldly
The mongoose stepped to the side and raised their paw. With a swift movement they quickly lowered it. “FIGHT!”
Kane charged Rooth with his claws outstretched. Rooth steadied herself and swatted Kane across his face, leaving him with a huge scratch. He slid into the cage wall. With a low growl he began circling Rooth.
Rooth dropped down to her paws And Rammed Kane into the ground. Kane wrapped his claws around her body and dug his teeth into her shoulder. Rooth let out a bloodcurdling roar.
She bit down on Kanes ear and with a vile jerk of her head it came off
“RHHAAAAAG!!!”
Cash looked on in horror as blood poured from his ear.
“Break it up! break it up!” The mongoose yelled
The two quickly separated. Rooth painfully held on to her shoulder as blood soaked her fur. Kane trembled as he looked at his ear on the arena floor.
“Do either of you surrender?” The mongoose said as they looked at both of them, mostly Kane.
Kanes muzzle wrinkled as he stared at Rooth in her cold unforgiving eyes. Her expression was blank and emotionless.
Both shook their heads
“FIGHT!!!”
Both charged at each other. Blood and fur scattered across the ground as they tore into each other’s flesh.
But even through it all. Rooth stood over Kanes weak body. He breathed hard and fast on the ground, Weak from blood loss
The speakers turned on. “ It looks like we have a winner! Rooth the ripper has another win under her belt!”
Kane limped away back to the door he came out of with the help of some guards.
“That’s BULLSHIT!!!” The black buck yelled
A sleazy laugh came from the crowd “Awww, did your little gladiator lose? I guess cheating isn’t always fool proof.” The teal buck laughed
The black buck pushed his way through the crowd. “CAN YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP?!?” He screamed
“Why don’t you make me?”
Just then the two changed at each other, locking antlers.
“Oooooo, looks like we have another fight tonight!” The speakers instigated
“God damnit, MOVE!” Cash said as he pushed his way through the crowd.
He wrapped his arms around the teal buck and tried to pull him away.
Two other guards grabbed the black buck. One holding his antlers and the other holding his body.
Without anyone holding the antlers for Cash, the teal buck thrashed his head wildly. Cash tried his best to dodge the antlers, but still got hit a couple times. He pinned the buck to the ground, holding his hooves behind his back.
The lioness from earlier came and helped cash get the buck up. Together they took the buck back up to the club and threw him outside the club. “How DEAR you put your hands on me! I want my money back!”
Cash bared his fangs. “Get lost before I call the cops.”
The buck cowardly scurried away into the night. Cash felt his shoulder, it was sore to the touch.
Yeah that’s gonna bruise…
“why didn’t you wait for me to get there?” The lioness said angrily
“I was just doing my job.”
“You could have gotten your eye poked out. You know deer fights are dangerous!”
“All fights are dangerous...”
“You could have died!” She hissed “don’t you care about that?”
“Everyone dies at some point.”
“Cash-“
“Don’t you have a man to see?” his tail thrashed. “How about you see how he’s doing instead of talking to me?” He growled
She growled at cash as she stormed back into the club.
Fuck this shit, I’m going home. I did my job.
Cash walked back to his car. He let out a heavy sigh as he began to drive.
Cash walked into his house and tossed some leftovers in the microwave. He went into the bathroom. He tossed his work shirt onto the ground. He stood in front of the sink and looked at his shirtless reflection.
He felt his shoulder, he winced in pain as he peeled back his fur. An ugly bruise sat under his skin.
He looked at the rest of his body. Faded scars hidden under fur, some old, some young.
He felt one of his youngest scars that sat on the side of his abdomen. The fur had never grown back since he got it. It was a small dent in the side of his soft stomach.
A old bullet wound.
Just like last night. He put on his sleep clothes and ate his dinner.
Cash laid on his bed with his two pillows. “You could have died, don’t you care about that?” Her words echoed in his mind
I care, I think… we all die someday. I’ll die one day. So What’s the point in trying to stop it? Who would even care?
A tear swelled in his eye as he held the pillow tight.
No one would…

Some background on her:
Formerly called Love she was raised as a pleasure servant and didn't go outside much. She was content with life for a good few years, made some friends, lived in relative comfort. Love was sold after a few years and before she reached the coast of her new home, her ship was swallowed by the ocean. Before dying, a devil named Razal rescued her and made her his Warlock, promises of power and magic and freedom included. She is now adventuring through Tal'Dorei with a Triton bard at her side and trying to fit in and learn the customs outside of her own experience.
She's bubbly and friendly and a bit naive, because this whole doing what you want thing is new to her.

You’ve taken refuge in an old hut. Hidden beneath cliffs and the endless red wastes of Caelid, you’re sighing a breath of relief. The path to Redmane castle is dangerous and filled with nightmares, which will haunt your dreams. You’ve seen people claimed by the scarlet rot, slowly losing their mind and life, and all you can offer is a quick end to their suffering.
And yet, there is Milicent and you're hopefully able to save her. A small act of kindness in all of this.
You’ve washed off the dirt and grime of your path and close your eyes for a brief moment.
Finally some rest. Your shoulders are stiff and your feet hurt and every piece of your equipment carries traces of the rot. It has not been your best day.
Soft, golden hues of reclaimed grace shine through a window that has been barred with planks. It’s a point of safety and your wounds are closed and your immortal soul stronger after a day of fighting.
And you’re not alone, which is so out of the ordinary that your stomach is in knots.
He’s too broad for the chair and hunched awkwardly on the creaking wood. His hulking sword leans against the wall and his cloak covers most of a once comfortable bed. It’s strange to see him without his armor and just in some linen shirt, almost casual and relaxed.
Blaidd watches your movements and the air between you is thick and filled with unspoken things. You rub your neck and try to understand what is going on between you. You haven’t seen each other since Siofra with your paths leading you into different parts of the land.
You’ve become much stronger, but not when he is near you and you can’t control the thoughts running through your mind. All of them seem so depraved.
You look for anything to talk about, anything to quieten your mind. “How long until we reach the castle.”
“Hard to tell. I’m sure the Festival won’t start without us though. We’re the main attraction.” There is a dry humor in his voice, which helps to quench some of your own doubts about the goal of your journey and all the unknowns. But you hope that one day it might be easier to read the expressions on his face and the subtle nuances in his tone.
“I still fear what is expected of us.”
“Using teeth and claws to win against a demi-god that has gone mad with the rot?”
You rub the bridge of your nose. “Hmmm, nothing out of the ordinary then? I vividly remember Godrick and Rennala and that hasn’t been much fun.”
Blaidd shrugs. “Not for us, yes. But who else is trying to put the Lands Between back together again? We have to start somewhere.”
To be fair, some weeks you are not sure what and why you are fighting for. They have banished your kind so long ago and you need to carve out for a place for yourself again. You follow your own train of thoughts as you feel the mood shift slightly. It’s in the way he watches your every movement, how his eyes never leave your body, and how he tries to find a comfortable position in the chair.
This time, there is no immediate danger. You’re clean and well rested and hunger stirs in your body. Maybe it’s longing for a quick escape of your dreary day and of the death that awaits you every waking hour. The need to feel more, someone warm and as eager as yourself. Your last encounter only left you with longing and a desire that shines too bright in your own darkness.
You slip out of your clothing, feeling a draft coming from the thin walls. Blaidd’s eyes match your hunger, but there is a feral note in his gaze. For a brief moment you wonder how it’d be to give in to this and ask him to not control himself. All he’s ever been is friendly, open, loyal to a fault. The thought of him letting his beast take over and just use you for his pleasure is frightening and exciting at the same time.
Maybe he guesses your thoughts or catches a hint of it, because it seems to get warmer in this little hut.
“Tarnished…” A low growl erupts from his throat and you notice the outline of his cock pressing against his breeches.
It’s an invitation.
You touch him once, twice, through the fabric and he closes his eyes and arches his neck. But you’re not patient enough to play a game of teasing and flirting and open his breeches. Blaidd helps with pulling them down his knees and his cock is freed.

Antfrost is a very unique inhabitant of the land for he is an anthropomorphic siamese cat. Ant is an old friend of BBH and had a lover called RedVelvet. He was multiple times forced into labor without payment and abused by many “T”(which includes Tommyinit, Tubbo and Technoblade). Later he joined with Awasamdude and BBH and became a member of the Badlands. After the Manberg-Pogtopia war BBH, Skeppy and Antfrost became corrupted by the Egg and together they forged the Eggpire. Ant, during this period became a complete different person and was mostly in guard duty to watch over the Egg along other corrupted people. After some more time, Awsamdude (without knowing about the fact that they were corrupted) invited both him and BBH to join the security patrol at the Pandora’s Box prison. Later, they organized the Red Banquet and here Antfrost became (In)famous for his action: Killing Foolish. After which, Captain Puffy promptly avenged his son. After his “death”, Ant returned to life after losing one of his canon lives and retuned to his normal self. However, for some reason a part of him got lost.. after all cats have nine lives... and that part of him drifted for a very long time until it stumbled upon something and he heard some words: “If you had a wish limited only by your imagination what would that be?” As he looked around he saw something of immense power and a tiny glowing sphere which responded: “Power! What else?” Ant was shocked to hear Jschlatt voice and he barely had the time to try to understand what was going on that he was flung by the mysterious force outside. Here, he floated for another unspecified amount of time until another entity gently catched him. The immense figure of gold and light observed him. “You are broken, your very being was broken by an unspeakable being clad in red.” Ant was at loss for words as the golden figure words were the truth.”To return whole, you must retrieve your self and restore the pieces. I will guide you, but only when you restore my rivers of gold.” And a bright light engulfed Antfrost. It was brought it into a new land with new equipment and a few form. Not soon after, he was on the road looking for that missing piece of himself and this river of gold. I could not find an image of Anfrost that I liked so I made one using Heroforge

When a survivor outside of the boon totems range loses a health state, the boon totems range decreases by 4/3/2 meter(s) for every injured survivor.
You can only bless one Totem at a time. All equipped boon perks are active on your Boon Totem.
