He laughs it off and secretly takes pride in having earned such a nickname from you, only to let loose a maelstrom of fury on the next smarmy demon who turns it into the butt of a joke.

Can I get headcanons for King Dice, Cala Maria, and Hilda Berg with an S/O that doesn't like being social but rather prefers to stay inside and draw? If you want to add a fourth character, you can! I only like 3 bosses but I wanna see what you come up with! And take your time on it, I still need to get back into the dang series ghfbdhd,,

Hilda Berg, Cala Maria, King Dice - Asocial Darling Who Prefers to Stay Inside and Draw

Note: Of course! This request was fun to write, especially Hilda’s part. Word Count: 0.6k Warnings: Controlling behaviour, implied abandonment issues, possessive behaviour.

♤ While Hilda may not be particularly possessive, she’s still quite happy about the fact that her darling is a homebody. She doesn’t mind not being able to go out, as she can always view the stars from the observatory, and the most important thing to her is being near them. Although, this can also cause some issues. If she becomes too used to her darling being inside all the time, then any attempts to go out, specifically without her, will be met with panic and possibly even a tantrum. She can’t stand the thought of them leaving her, which is why she’ll often lock them in the observatory until they agree to let her go with them, or they apologise and promise not to go out.

♡ As for their artistic passion, she thinks it’s quite cute, although she would never voice her thoughts aloud. She’ll often pester them about what they’re drawing, or ask when they’ll be done, or even swipe whatever they’re drawing on from their hands so she can get a better look at it. She may even hold it above their head to tease them, or jokingly ask them to draw her because she knows they find it annoying. If they agree, however, Hilda won’t know what to do with herself. She tries to pretend it doesn’t faze her when, in reality, the thought of her darling making her their muse is enough to render her a flustered mess.

♤ Cala, in contrast to Hilda, is very possessive of her darling, so it should come as no surprise that she’s absolutely ecstatic about them being asocial. She hates having to share their attention with anyone, with the only exception being her aquatic friends, so their reclusive nature greatly appeals to her. Though, there are times where she’s bothered by it. Cala loves going out and exploring the seas, especially with her darling; having them refuse to join her is a surefire way to put her in a foul mood, which can only be remedied by an apology and a promise to spend the whole day with her. If they reject her invitation often enough, though, she will start ignoring their wishes and taking them with her anyway, whether they want to go or not.

♡ In regards to their love of drawing, she finds it adorable. She can often be found staring at them while they draw, bearing a smitten expression as she carefully observes the look of concentration in their eyes, or the way their hand moves as it glides their pencil across the paper. She will also sometimes ask them to draw things for her, such as herself, her friends, or her favourite scenery, and is always overjoyed when they comply. She also makes sure to store their drawings somewhere safe where she can gaze at them without the fear of any water ruining them.

♤ Lastly, King Dice is rather miffed about his darling’s preference for staying indoors. Now, this wouldn’t be a problem if not for the fact that King Dice is almost always busy, which means he can’t be around his darling often. For this reason, he likes having them around the casino, as their presence is a soothing one, and helps him get through days when his work is especially gruelling. However, he won’t force them to come out of their shell, no matter how he feels about the situation. Though, he will sometimes try to gently coax them into joining him but if they refuse, he won’t press them further.

♡ Regarding their hobby, he admires their dedication to it quite a bit. He often asks to see what they’re working on, and always makes sure to praise their skill, while at the same time giving them constructive criticism about what they can improve on. He will also brag about them and their skills as long as they’re comfortable with it, and he even offers to get them any supplies they need or want. Everything he gifts them is of the highest quality, of course, as he won’t settle for anything but the best for his darling.

We saw King Dice fucking murderered literal demons in cold blood solely to be the Devil's favorite/forever number one/be in his good graces again. With ruse, sadism, manipulation and no remorse, in fact dancing when succeeding

Which means that not only he is a character who did, does and will kill with no problem and proves himself dangerous and skilled

It could also mean he is a sort of yandere. HE must stay his favorite, HE will succeed in bringing Cuphead's soul, NOBODY must come in his way with the Devil or will die. It also means there are high chances he is the jealous type who will totally gruesomely slaughter anyone he would suspect would flirt with the Devil and hide the body

No wonder he counts as one of the Devil's finest demons despite not being a demon himself. His number one, but also even more evil and dangerous than demons

Of course that's why he loves him and why they keep going back to each other. Nobody is as cruel and crazy as Dice, that's sexy to Satan himself

Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit! Cuphead mentally curses as he tries to clean his arm & wrap a bandage around a fresh bruise that started to form. He hoped it wouldn't be that visible & that maybe he could get away with it through the work day. So a customer decided to be rough & rebel last night when Dice wasn't around.

He could handle a little rough housing, hell, he & Mugs used to fight all the time! He just didn't think what this customer did would still end up hurting the next day. He must've bruised a sensitive part of his arm or something.

Good thing the guy wouldn't be welcomed back in. He'd be keeping a sharp eye out for them.

He just never expected Dice to notice when they decide to check on their first station run by that evening. The bandage must've slipped just a bit. “Wait, are those-? Are those bruises?” He winces visibly at the question, not at the concern being shown for him. Instead, he tries to laugh it off, hand lifting to rub the back of his neck.

"It's really no big, Dice. Honestly ! " he attempts to assure him, smile faltering slightly when he sees Dice making his way behind the bar & right to his side.

Cheeks are red with warmth as he notices they're starting to get some stares. "Really, Dice. It doesn't even hurt anymore," he tries once more, offering a warm, genuine smile.

Lies. It still tingled with pain just a little bit here & there, but he didn't want his boyfriend to freak out. "It was jus' a lil mishap wit' a customer gettin' too hotheaded fer his own good."

It's the DadDice (That's what I've decided to call it) person back again because... I had more ideas and wanted to share them.

The first few minutes out of Inkwell Hell were more entertaining than anything. The Isles citizens were quite surprised to see a kid running from the Devil's Casino. You answered nothing, instead getting to an ice cream store. It was a rare treat, considering Hell isn't exactly the coolest place.

Payment was also entertaining as well. Just giving some money, despite being totally unsupervised and having come from Inkwell Hell. You left that store happy with your treat, and with the rumors that were already spreading.

You noticed a sign for a show, boasting a name you had heard complained about several times. Why not visit? You had the money and if you regained a contract on your adventure, there would be less reason to be grounded for the rest of eternity.

As you walked into the theaters lobby, you saw a fight happening right there. Two Demons from the casino- Pretty important ones from the little you knew- were in a scrap with the Woman mentioned on the sign, and two cups.

You assumed all three were debtors before your situation fully clicked and you decided to start running.

A stray shot of magic in your path caused you to stumble, and by that point, you'd been spotted. And that was the end of your freedom.

King Dice - The Tower, The Empress & The Chariot

Note: Don’t worry, no one’s requested for these cards yet. Hope you enjoy your request! Word Count: 0.4k Warnings: Implied controlling behaviour, mentions of murder. Prompts: Can be found here.

The Tower - If this yandere saw their darling in danger, how would they respond/react?

Because King Dice would never allow his darling to go somewhere potentially dangerous, the only real threat to their safety would be other people. In that case, he would instantly teleport them to safety, before returning to where the two were originally so he can deal with the problem.

As this event likely occurred in the casino, where there are almost always dozens of eyes on him, King Dice will be sure to take the perpetrator to someplace private before ripping into them. If their foolish actions that put his darling in harm’s way were merely an accident, he’ll let them off with a warning. If they were intentional, however, he will not hesitate to kill them.

While he’s usually against spilling blood unless he absolutely has to, he makes an exception this time. The person that put his darling in danger will experience a slow, painful death at the casino manager’s hands before their soul is sent to Hell - a fitting punishment for anyone that tries to harm his beloved.

The Empress - Would this yandere want to have children with their darling in the future?

Probably not. He’s not particularly good with children, nor has he ever had the desire to raise any of his own, so he’s never given it much thought. However, if his darling wanted one, he would consider it. It would take a while for him to warm up to the idea, though, because he finds children to be annoying more often than not, and he’s not sure how to deal with them.

Another thing to consider is how it would affect his relationship with his darling. While having a child, even an adopted one, would make it harder for them to leave, it could also just as easily backfire on him in a few years’ time. He worries that once they reach adulthood, they might discover the less than desirable parts of their parents’ relationship, and help his darling escape.

For that reason, he would hold off on having children, at least until he’s certain he has his darling wrapped around his finger.

The Chariot - What freedoms would this yandere allow, and take away?

Assuming his darling is well-behaved, the only freedom King Dice would take from them is their ability to go somewhere without him. While he doesn’t mind being away from them for a while, having them around gives him peace of mind, which is why, more often than not, the two can be seen together or near each other. As for when he’s unable to be around them, he gives them free rein to do as they please, so long as they don’t leave the casino.

(Sitting like a wise old man on a log) okay so call me controversial for this but I HATE DevilDice so much like its so unreal. At first I was just like "ok" when Cuphead was more niche, like it was dumb since I dont think you NEED to ship anything in Cuphead to Like it and engage with it but like whatever right?? But then as it started gaining more and more traction with talk of the DLC and S1 of The Cuphead Show! DevilDice was EVERYWHERE and I personally didn't really understand why people so desperately wanted DevilDice to be real, especially when the Devil and King Dice didn't really have much in common or anything that really told me "oh yeah they NEED to be together", people were just kinda making shit up as they went and like idc if people do that for their ships but because it was EVERYWHERE in the fandom tag, character tags, etc, there was NO way to really avoid it!! And the fact that King Dice's character was reduced to JUST "The Devil's Henchman" and not the respected and even downright intimidating figure the Game made King Dice, it was super insulting...especially when he was HEAVILY based on a Real person (Cab Calloway)!! And how he's kinda reduced to just a joke character that nobody really takes seriously anymore is super disheartening and I'm like "#NOTMYDICE"!!!! I JUST dont think people should have to rely on a ship to care about a source, but thats exactly what like 90% of the Cuphead fanbase does (they couldn't go 1 day without shipping King Dice with Chef Saltbaker!!!) And its super annoying imo...these characters can be completely appreciated without all the nonsensical and bizarre ships and AUs like...yandere King Dice???? Like what does that even mean KING DICE WOULDNT FUCKING DO THAT!!!!!!!

Also just as a little add on it really sucks that so much of the The Cuphead Show!/Cuphead Fans went totally Gaga over The Devils and King Dice's VAs/Twitter Accounts "flirting" with each other and didn't even realize that Netflix (a multimillion corporate entity) was totally baiting their audience because they KNOW that'll capture their audience's attention without explicitly doing anything that they're even hinting at. Ok Thanks for coming to my ted talk (gaster sfx) ✌

oh god you know what youre so fucking right. i never really understood the devildice hype? like sure i can see the appeal or whatever. who fucki knows. but the shipping inthis fandom is absolutely fucking insane. the dlc came out and everyone just started shipping random fucking characters. i dont undestnad the bonbaker hyper at all whatsoever. if anything it makes me like violently angry

and yeah the show fucking ruined so many of the characters!!! i know i made a joke about how i loved that they made dice super pathetic or whatever but honestly? i wish they hadnt!!!!! and obvs netflix is just baiting the fans. i know one of the creators confirmed multiple characters to be gay + one nonbinary but like. still.

Heros:

Richard:

- in his late 20s or early 30s

- has fire powers

- was killed by his female childhood friend after she manipulated his feelings

- became gay after to cope with his feelings

- totally doesn't haunt me and tries to make me feel guilty for killing him off

Ryan:

- in his mid-20s

- has water and fire powers

- was the older brother of the female who killed Richard

- was killed in a burning building in his late teens

- is Richard's boyfriend no matter how much both of them deny it

Reed Hawthorn:

- independent and headstrong

- was trained to be a royal guard, but when he realized how flawed the system was, he joined the rebels mentioned above

- likes Veil but she always insists she's gay, but R.I.P. has taken an interest in him

- straight?

- is childish, but can be serious when needed

Dice:

- is 32 years old (Act III)

- became king when his parents died

- overprotective of his younger sister

- likes to gang up with his sister to manipulate their lovers

- believes that it is his duty to rule his city based on his needs

- strong leader, but is misguided

Tiara:

- is 24 years old (Act III)

- is Dice's younger sister

- is the princess, but gets more power because of her brother's position

- likes to toy with the members of the staff

- was eventually killed by Card/Eye as a form of revenge

- a bitchy brat
