steve and eddie keep the most random stuff in their home
a bag of sand sits on their bookshelf, labeled 'beach 1990'
a cassette tape has it's own place on the living room table
a VHS tape 'back to the future' is placed neatly in a cabinet above the kitchen counter.
a pair of sunglasses stays on the tv stand
no one knows what these things really mean, that is, besides steve and eddie.
the bag of sand is when steve tried to propose, but eddie tackled him so he could propose first.
at the beach.
the cassette tape has every song from their wedding on it (tears for fears is on there too, even though eddie hates tears for fears.)
'back to the future' is the movie they watched right before their first kiss. (exact same tape too)
the sunglasses are the ones steve wore in '84, and eddie loves to wear them, or make steve put them on (so he can laugh at him, obviously)
and when someone asks 'why is there a bag of sand right there?', they have the best story in the history of the world.
