Number 24: Dragulas the Vampiric Dragon

Happy New Year! What better way to start than with this year's number! (Kinda. Sorta. You get it.)

This dragon is so fucking cool but also? But also? Kind of ridiculous looking. The clearly obvious reason for that is the straight up blonde hair it has. Hair on a dragon will always look absolutely ridiculous to me, but what really takes the cake here is the obvious intention for it to invoke Alucard vibes from this, well, giant vampire dragon. You could genuinely not convince me that there was any other intention with the hair. Anyways, they pulled off the vampire look extremely well with this guy. Despite all the hair, I really love this guy's kinda nosferatu/bat skull looking head/face area. Colors are on point across the board, but looking at the giant red moon in the background for too long makes it look more like a giant demonic portal or something of the sort.

Madolche Queen Tiaramisu

I need everyone who reads this to please zoom in on her face. Do you see that? Do you see the little hearts in her eyes? Thank you for looking :) I love how this cute little detail is reflected in the heart eyespots the animals around her have. Before I saw this card, I didn't realize that the Madolche monsters all have an associated puzzle piece underneath them. Fittingly, Tiaramisu's piece is made of tiramisu! She even has a transparent puzzle piece at the top of her fancy scepter to match. And of course, her outfit consists of tiramisu colors. While she looks regal all by herself with her outfit and intricate throne, the stuffed animal uh... animals help add a cutesy look to the whole thing. Just look at those two little mice towards her bottom right. So goddamn cute.

ok u know that fake 80s horror movie meme that people did on tiktok well aside from the blatant goncharov plagiarism i feel like the idea isnt inherently bad but trying to convince people the movie is real while giving it an obscure and therefore easily googleable name like zapotha is unwise. like goncharov was always openly fake but the video said they want to convince people zepotha is real. too easy to fact check imo.
