Up until its closure in 2020, Epcot's MouseGear held one of the coolest remnants in the park! Above some merchandise cabinets was a piece of Dreamfinder's Dream Catcher- taken straight from the first scene of the original Journey into Imagination!

Journey into Imagination with Figment may be a ridiculously-bad 2nd sequel to the well-loved original that adorned Epcot's Future World from 1983-1998, but it does have 2 redeeming factors: trash cans in the show scenes! As you explore Figment's upside down imagination, trash cans are spotted in both the kitchen and bathroom scenes. Wonderful Memories: The Fountain of Nations On my trip to Walt Disney World back in September 2019, I saw the soon to be closing (now closed) nighttime spectacular at EPCOT, Illumination: Reflections of Earth, on my second day of the trip. After said spectacular, I remembered something while we were on our way out of the park: That the Fountain of Nations was closing the next day. The Fountain had been one of EPCOT’s centerpieces since it had opened and when it first opened in 1982, leaders from every nation in the World Showcase poured water from their nation into it. The park’s big refurbishment was about to take it away so I decided to preserve it in digital photography, getting this shot and a few others. I am actually proud of myself for this one.

i had this interaction in the dropout discord (i am the first and third person). short. simple. i only got the first year bc of a discount + a gift card i had, so i was planning on using this person's suggestion.

then, i got this.

oh my god!! how nice!! how sweet!!! how thoughtful!! i gave them my email and they sent over a subscription, i thanked them profusely. i was very grateful, very touched.

hours and hours later i was still thinking about it and i recalled how, in the email id gotten about it, it said "tao yang sent you a subscription" and id seen that and thought "oh haha like the tao yang" and then moved on

but now, thinking back, i was like.... theres no way, so i googled tao yang.
