So I have been reading an amazing comic called "Winged Warriors" by @kabukiaku , and was inspired a great deal. It's a great mix of birds like Owls, falcons, eagles, and hawks in the imperial Chinese era and it is an amazing read so far!! The designs of the characters in the story are epic, and the storyline is engaging and keeps you invested in each character and I look forward to future chapters! And so I couldn't help but make a fan character of my own for it!

Based off the Brahminy Kite, here is Suyin! She is a pirate by blood, specializing in dual hook swords and part of her Father's crew. Their piracy is well known across the region, as they have a tendency to attack military ships and stealing the supplies, weaponry, and goods. Hope ya like and please if you have not, give @kabukiaku 's "Winged Warriors" story a read. You will not be disappointed!

If you'd like, I had an idea: panther!Blake being particularly affectionate, and maybe even catch and gift a fish to gift Yang for her birthday! Basically, panther!Blake being aware of it and wanting to celebrate it her own way!

Panther!Blake: (erupts out of the water with the largest fish in the pool in her jaws)

Yang: Whoa! I was wondering when you were finally going to get him! You've been eyeing that one for months!

Panther!Blake: (trots up to Yang, pushes her over so she's sitting on a nest of leaves she made, and drops the fish in Yang's lap)

Yang: ....Is this for me?

Panther!Blake: (chuffs and grumbles happily while rubbing up and around Yang, making sure to lick her cheek and roll over for belly rubs)

Yang: And belly rubs?! What's the occasio- (eyes widen) Did you know it was my birthday?

Panther!Blake: (rolls into Yang and props chin on her thigh with a grumble)

Yang: Awwwww! (hugs P!B around the neck) Thanks, Blake! I love it! But, uh... (stares at the fish still twitching lifelessly in her lap) how about we share this?

Type RWDE into a blog's search bar if you're not sure, block em if they're negative.

Its tedious, filtering your feed, but the resulting decrease in negativity is worth it.

Maybe I'm the weird one, but in recent thoughts to all of the shipping drama, I dont think I've ever gotten to the point with shipping or a show in general to get upset with the romance that happens unless it's genuinely forced into the story (looking at you most het ships)

Like, don't get me wrong, bmblby is one of the ships I dont really like as far as rwby goes, but like, even I could see where everything was going with the build up. And it never did impede with the story with the way everything was built up for it as well. So when people feel the need to hate the story because a single ship or drop the show completely because because their ship isn't canon boggles my mind.

But like I said, maybe I'm just the weird one on that one. Still great to see a Sapphic slow burn romance happen through rwby though. Especially with main cast

That's the thing and I appreciate you saying it. You can *not* like a ship but still admit that it's being done well and works in the context of the show. You simply don't care for it and don't see the need to rage about it or resort to hyperbole.

For myself, the potential of their romance is what drew me in. I came into the fandom at the end of V6 after @set-wingedwarrior posted so much about the Bees. But before I committed, I went and watched the show. I wanted to make sure this wasn't going to be a rug-pull.

And to my surprise, everything lined up. This wasn't something that came out of nowhere. This was deliberate, planned and something the cast and crew cared about.

The Baby Plot

Chapter 4: Revelations

On AO3 and on FFN.

Rated M, although the sex in this chapter is fade to black.

Summary: Yang’s been feeling under the weather, and Blake persuades her to get a checkup. The cause of her symptoms comes as a shock, with lifelong consequences when they decide to keep moving forward.

Chapter summary: Another chat with Raven, and sharing the news with friends.

This fic earns no AO3 archive warnings to my knowledge, but to be safe there's a trigger warning included at the start of chapter 1, and at the start of this chapter, just in case. There is some darkness to this story, but I think it is balanced by the fluff.

I'm not sure if @bumblebyweek-blog is still reblogging, so I'm tagging just in case they still are, but I also wanted to thank the mods @foxaoxarts and @set-wingedwarrior for organising Bumbleby Week, and for reblogging all the fics and art. Hello lovely people!

First of all, thank you for the positive feedback you gave us so far, it means a lot! But now, let me introduce ourselves: I'm @set-wingedwarrior, you can call me Wings, and with @foxaoxarts we're the new coordinators of the bumbleby week!

To be clear though, we have no links with the older ones. This is all built from scratch by us simply because we didn't wish for the tradition to die. That means that there might be differences on how we handle it, mostly because neither of us have ever had experience doing anything like this before, and we hope you'll be patient with us as we're going to figure it out one step at the time.

We're planning on making a "Q&A" post soon to try and explain ourselves and our plans as quickly and as clear as possible, so if you have any question, just go ahead and ask! And depending on its "generality", we'll answer it directly or include it in our post.

We're also open to any suggestions and advice you might have, and we're even considering to recruit someone else to help us if they wish so (in that case it might be best to direct message one of us, just to talk more easily and avoid confusion).

Again, we're inexperienced and this is all very new to us, but we promise to do our best to save the tradition and keep it a good and positive experience for everyone! Thanks again for the support, and we'll see you soon!
