Love Conquers All - Hyunjin
Genre: Angst, Fluff, Idol au, Set at MAMA
Word Count: Approximately 4k
“So my next question will go to Cindy,” the presenter said and Cindy immediately froze as the camera panned to her. She looked at her members, who were giving her worried looks, and her leader subtly asked her with her eyes if she wanted her to help. Cindy pressed a strained smile onto her face and subtly shook her head before trying to relax her smile more as she looked at the presenter. Her group was currently being interviewed at the red carpet at their fourth MAMA of their professional career. She took the mic hesitantly handed to her by one of her members, who smiled at her as a source of comfort.
“Cindy, I understand you were meant to have a collaboration this year with Hwanwoong of Oneus and San of Ateez which was supposed to be a highly anticipated part of today’s show? What are your thoughts on not being able to do it?”
Cindy knew the presenters has a script to follow and she could see the guilt in the presenter’s eyes so she simply smiled at her as if to tell her it was ok. What made things worse was that when she looked towards the backstage, she saw all of eight of the boys standing there, looking at her with worry, but his face stuck out the most. She knew it wasn’t his fault, but she was the one who had to pay the price for the both of them. She needed to show she was strong so she brought the mic towards her mouth so that she could speak clearly.
“Obviously, I was looking really forward to the collaboration, I don’t know if this information was shared with the public or not but we had already started to rehearse it and were quite a way through it, so it was a bit frustrating when it was cancelled due to specific reasons.” She made sure her voice didn’t waver as she looked at the fans of many other groups behind the camera. Her eyes suddenly caught a certain fan who was waving a large banner with the writing “WE LOVE YOU CINDY!” and that gave her the strength to continue. “I understand that everything happens for a reason though, so I’m sure that the reason the collaboration was called off was the best thing for myself and the other parties. The time that would have been spent in practice gave me a chance to reflect on myself and improve more as well as think back on everything to ensure I don’t make any mistakes in the future.”
“Ah yes of course, at least there was a positive outcome,” the second presenter said, but her eyes were still glued to Cindy which she took as another question about to be thrown her way. “You also wrote one of the songs that your group will be performing today, would you like to tell us about what inspired you to write it and your train of thoughts?”
“The song I wrote, to be honest I related it to myself quite a lot,” she said. “I’ve been misunderstood a lot; when you’re in the public eye, you don’t get a chance to explain yourself, one wrong move that may be made with a pure intention could cost you your mental health as well as your career. The song is basically talking about how no one knows what we’re going through unless they actually go through it the way we have to. I know a lot of people know what I mean when I say life as an idol isn’t always rainbows and sparkles, but unless you actually live this life, then you can’t imagine the hardships it takes to even stand here. We’re humans too, so I guess I was just trying to portray how not everything is as it seems.” She let out a small laugh which the presenters mirrored in order to lighten the mood, but her members and the eight boys on the side could tell how forced and bitter it was.
“But there are obviously fulfilling moments?” the presenter asked, trying to stir the conversation back to a lighter topic. Cindy was aware their group had probably gone overtime by a minute so they had to wrap the interview up to move onto the next group.
“Yes of course, our fans and the members are the most rewarding part,” Cindy said and she smiled with the other members as she heard a loud chorus of screams of delight from their fans.
The interview ended quickly after that and the girls made their way off the red carpet, but obviously fate was not being good to her today. As Cindy walked off the stage, she heard a voice call out to her from the crowd.
“CINDY YOU B****!” a fan cursed, causing her and her members to stop in their tracks, shocked. “FIRST YOU DATE OUR HYUNJIN FOR FAME, AND THEN YOU USE HWANWOONG AND SAN TO MAKE YOURSELF LOOK BETTER. YOU’RE SO DESPERATE. WE HATE YOU!” The words didn’t hurt as much as the noises of agreement coming from the audience, and the angry protests and comforting cheers of her fans did not help drown them out. She turned to look at the eight boys, one of them particularly who looked as if someone had just slapped his face. He noticed how her facial expressions showed how she was trying to stop herself from crying and he wanted nothing more than to just engulf her in a hug and tell her it would all be alright. Cindy’s leader quickly ushered her off the stage as her members followed, and they were glad to see their seniors as well as close friends, Oneus, waiting for them at the end, out of sight of the cameras. The members gave her encouraging smiles as Hwanwoong gave her a brotherly hug. Xion and Keonhee immediately came to her and put their arms around her, quickly engaging her in a conversation sure to make her laugh, whilst her members and the rest of the Oneus members talked quietly about what had just happened. Whilst they were walking away, they heard the presenters call the next group onto the stage.
“Please give a warm welcome to… Stray Kids!”
(Time Skip)
The stage erupted into flames as BTS’ Fire started playing and that sent the crowd into a frenzy of screams, not to mention how all the other idols, who were meant to look professional and show minimum reaction, jumped out of their seats as the performers on stage got into formation. Cindy and her members were no exception and she, along with her other member, started energetically dancing, living up to their positions as main and lead dancer. The Oneus members next to them were singing the lyrics loudly and if any outsider came in they would have thought they were at a concert instead of an award show. Cindy happened to turn to her left and was immediately surprised and freaked out when she saw Hyunjin’s eyes trained on her, and it looked so extremely obvious. She panicked and looked around when her heart stopped. Right in the front row of where the fans were seated, she saw a camera pointed towards them, catching the whole interaction. She just felt so overwhelmed at that point that she tapped her leader and told her she was going out for some fresh air. They knew they couldn’t just leave halfway through but her leader saw how troubled she looked so she helped sneak her backstage. This did not go unnoticed by the Stray Kids members and Hyunjin quickly turned to Bangchan to ask him for permission to leave. Noticing Bangchan’s hesitance, Minho patted Hyunjin’s back, as if telling him to go. Hyunjin smiled gratefully before disappearing backstage, not knowing about the camera still recording him, the one that had caused Cindy to leave so suddenly.
Hyunjin walked down the corridor of dressing rooms, ignoring the looks of surprise the staff members were giving him, all of then wondering why he was backstage and not in the idol sitting area. He finally reached Cindy’s groups dressing room, just as her manager walked out. She was evidently surprised as she quickly pulled him away from the door to the room and took him behind the vending machine, out of sight.
“You’re not supposed to be here,” she hissed in fear as she looked around.
“Please let me talk to her, I’ve not heard from her since Dispatch outed our relationship,” Hyunjin pleaded. Cindy’s manager had been one of the first to find out about their relationship, other than his manager. The members and the company as well as the rest of the staff ended up finding out only a few days later than the two managers.
“Hyunjin, please understand,” her manager said desperately, “I know you both love each other, even someone as inexperienced as me can see that. But you need to be prepared that maybe you won’t be able to go back to how you were. Think about the reputation of your groups too. And think about her. That stunt at the red carpet today didn’t help her at all, especially because it only targeted her.”
“I need her to know I still love her; I’m willing to go through the hardships for her.” He looked at her manager desperately and she sighed in defeat as she patted his shoulder lightly.
“Don’t take too long, you need to get back,” she said sternly and he nodded his head. He thanked her with a hug before quickly rushing towards his initial destination. He paused a bit before he opened the door, slowly peaking his head in. the sight in front of him broke his heart. Cindy was sitting on the floor against the wall and her cheeks were tearstained, but she was no longer crying. She hadn’t realised the door had opened and her hands were playing with an unopened bottle of water. Hyunjin stepped in and lightly cleared his throat, and that’s when she looked up. Her eyes widened so fast that if they had been in a different situation it would have looked comical. She stood up and the bottle of water dropped from her hands, rolling around on the floor without a care in the world. Time stopped as the two stared at each other, none of them knowing what to say. There were so many unspoken words between them, yet the speech Hyunjin had prepared in his head completely vanished. He decided to make the first move and he stepped a bit closer to her, checking to see if was uncomfortable. She didn’t show any signs of discomfort, so he carried on walking towards her until all she had to do was lift her hand and he would be within her reach.
Cindy’s tears cascaded down her face, soft sniffles following them. She hesitated for a second before slowly closing the distance as she walked into his embrace, crying against his chest. Hyunjin paused for only a split second before holding onto her tightly as if scared that she would be ripped away from him, whilst running his fingers through her hair. He kissed the top of her head as her cries turned to small hiccups. She gripped onto his shirt tightly before slowly pulling away, eyes filled with fear.
“You need to go,” she said and Hyunjin’s heart broke as he watched her take a step away from him, “our groups will get ruined-” She was about to continue rambling on when Hyunjin captured her lips in his, muffling any more words coming out of her mouth. His hands were loose around her waist and his eyes shut as he moulded his lips against hers, but after a few seconds he noticed she wasn’t kissing him back. He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion as he looked at her teary eyes, and she took that as an opportunity to push him away harshly.
“What’s wrong?” he started but she immediately cut him off.
“What are you doing?” she asked as her eyes darted around the room fearfully, and it dawned on Hyunjin just how scared she was. “Hyunjin, we can’t-”
“But why can’t we?” he asked exasperatedly looking as if he too was going to break down into tears. “What’s so wrong with us being together if it makes us happy? Why can’t people just accept that you’re the only one for me and I can’t live without you in my life?” His words made her feel so heartbroken because she knew he was right, and she knew that she couldn’t live without him either. But there was no way they would be able to avoid the hate they would get from both fandoms collectively, not to mention how it could have a huge toll on their groups considering how well they were doing at the moment.
“Hyunjin, you were fine before we dated,” she said gently but he shook his head firmly.
“But I always knew that something was missing from my life,” he said as he took her hand in his, slightly smiling as he felt hers tighten around his, “when you came into my life, I knew that you were the one. You were the one who completed me, and no one but you can take that space in my heart. Please.” He closed his eyes as he felt the tears run down his cheek. He suddenly felt something soft against his skin and when he opened his eyes once more, he saw her wiping his tears away with her thumb. She held onto his cheek and he melted into her touch, but the moment was short-lived as she took her hand away.
“Hyunjin, I… I think we should officially break up.” Her tone was soft and she was no longer crying, but Hyunjin could hear how she strained her voice as she tried to keep it steady, and he noticed how it faded out at the end as she breathed deeply.
“You… you don’t mean that,” he said brokenly as he tried to read her face, but she maintained her expression, keeping it emotionless.
“As hard as it is for us,” she whispered, “this is the only way to keep everyone off our backs, and to save our careers. We have our groups to think of, we can’t be selfish.”
“But what if I want to be selfish for once?” Hyunjin burst out and Cindy looked at him, surprised. When the two had started dating, they had agreed that they would work their relationship around their schedules so as not to mess anything up for their groups. He was probably one of the most selfless people she had ever met. To hear him say that he wanted to be selfish for once, for her, made her heart leap despite her dejected mood.
“What if I want to become selfish, for us?” he asked again and she looked at the ground, trying to avoid his gaze. He sighed deeply and she knew he was trying to hold his tears back for the umpteenth time. “But if that’s not what you really want, then… then I’ll let you go.” Cindy looked up at him and he bit his lip, swallowing the lump in his throat. “But only on one condition.” Cindy’s heart was tearing apart as she looked at him, waiting for him to speak again. She couldn’t believe that they were ending everything, even though none of them wanted to.
“And that condition is?” she asked, sniffling slightly.
“Look me straight in the eye. And tell me that… you no longer love me.” His words struck her hard and for a second all she could do was blink at him.
“W-what?” she whispered.
“Tell me that you don’t love me anymore, and that that’s the reason you want to end us,” he said, his voice wavering a bit. “If you do that, then I’ll believe you, but if you don’t, then I know that you still want me just as I want you. And if you still love me like I love you, then we will get through all the hardships together, and I’ll always fight for you no matter what.” If Cindy hadn’t been such an emotional wreck at that point then she would have rolled her eyes at how hard he made the decision. On one side was her love for Hyunjin, and on the other was the harsh industry.
She looked him in the eye and her heart tore apart as she saw the hope vanish from his eyes. Taking a shaky breath, she opened her mouth to speak.
“Hyunjin, I…” she tried to get the words out, but it was harder to lie when the person she loved more than anyone was looking at her as if his whole world had ended. “I… oh, screw it!”
Before Hyunjin could even react, Cindy grabbed his face with both of her hands and smashed her lips onto his, surprising him. He stood still for a moment before quickly snaking his arms around her waist and bringing her impossibly nearer to him. The kiss somehow made their hearts flutter yet thump loudly at the same time. Cindy could feel the butterflies in her stomach as Hyunjin gently tilted her head back, deepening the kiss with his soft lips. The kiss was desperate, yet slow and meaningful, passionate but not too steamy. The two finally broke apart, panting a little from the lack of air. They closed their eyes, savouring the feeling of being in each other’s embrace. Hyunjin kissed her temple as she hummed softly, before sharing a heart-warming smile.
“Well, I did not think that was how you would answer my question,” Hyunjin said teasingly as Cindy lightly slapped him on the arm. But then she realised a big problem.
“Hyunjin, this will be so bad for our groups-” she tried to explain but was cut off by a voice at the door.
“Don’t worry about us,” Chan said as he walked forward with Cindy’s groups leader, “what matters is that the two of you are okay. Thankfully, none of us have to deal with a depressed Hyunjin anymore!” Hyunjin scowled at Chan playfully as they all laughed.
“Cindy wasn’t any better,” her leader said, smiling fondly at the couple in front of her, “but I’m glad you two are back together now. And don’t worry about the antis, haters are gonna hate, we already knew we would get backlash for these kind of things when we first became trainees.”
“Exactly,” Chan agreed, “as long as you two are happy, no one has any right to say anything to you. Besides, you have all of us with you. And our true fans will accept your happiness.”
“But, um, I think we should get your guys’ makeup done again, you both look like a mess,” her leader said and Hyunjin grabbed onto Cindy as the girl was about to playfully throw herself at her leader for her comment. Chan and Cindy’s leader gave the couple equally motivating smiles and told them to come straight back to the seating area after their makeup was done. Hyunjin’s stylist came into the room along with Cindy’s and they busily started reapplying the makeup onto the two idols, not fussed about them ruining it as they too were happy the couple were back together again. Throughout their makeup reapplication, Cindy and Hyunjin held each other’s hands, sitting in a comfortable silence while the two stylists chatted to each other.
As they got closer to the seating area, Cindy suddenly remembered what had caused her to go running off.
“Hyunjin, we were being filmed,” she whispered to him as they stood outside the entrance. He turned to look at her and for a second he looked panicked before he showed her his signature smirk.
“Good, now we can give them something more to film,” he said as he held her hand. Her eyes widened but after looking at Hyunjin’s reassuring smile, she felt most of her nerves slip away. The two walked in and Cindy was glad to see that Oneus were just about to perform; she didn’t want to miss their stage. As they made their way to their seats, the other idols stood up to bow respectfully as they were all colleagues, and the looks on their faces when they saw the couples entwined hands was the most comical thing Cindy had ever seen. Many of them whispered words of encouragement whilst others gave them envious but approving looks. Hyunjin walked Cindy to her seat and to everyone’s surprise as well as delight, he gave her a small but sweet kiss on the cheek as he squeezed her hand tightly before making his way towards his members, all who were looking at him in astonishment as well as pride.
Cindy sat down next to her leader, who was trying not to laugh.
“When I told you not to care about other’s reactions, I didn’t mean this, but I’m not complaining,” she laughed and the rest of the members grinned at Cindy happily. Then, Oneus’ performance started and they were all too preoccupied with singing and dancing along to think of anything else.
“And the Album of the Year Award goes to… Stray Kids, congratulations!” The stadium erupted into loud cheers and screams as the Stray Kids members looked around in shock, not being able to believe that the MC had just called their name. Bangchan recovered first and quickly ushered the boys to the main stage, whilst bowing and thanking the other idols who congratulated them. Hyunjin looked dazed as he walked past, but as he passed Cindy he gave her a playful wink as she enthusiastically gave him two thumbs up. The members reached the stage and gratefully accepted the award before going on to making their speech.
“Hello, we are Stray Kids!” Bangchan started thanking everyone for helping them and expressed how grateful they all were for the award, and the members smiled as they heard their fans cheering for them. After he finished, he looked around at the others, asking if anyone else wanted to say anything. To their surprise, Hyunjin stepped forward, even though he never gave acceptance speeches. Bangchan stepped to the side as Hyunjin came in front of the mic, and the audience started cheering once again as they saw him.
“Stay, thank you so much for giving us this award, I have no words to be able to thank you enough for this,” he began as he looked around the audience. Finally, his eyes went to the idols seating section, where he sought out a particular face. After finding it, he smiled as he saw the happiness and pride on Cindy’s face and quickly continued. “I also want to thank a special person who has made this past year one of the best years of my life. We’ve come across a few hardships, and I’m so glad we were able to overcome them. I love you.” Cindy was beyond relieved when she heard the audience scream for the umpteenth time that night, and that made her so happy.
The Stray Kids members made their way back to the seating place and by chance there were seats right next to Cindy’s group so they sat down there. The group reshuffled so that Cindy and Hyunjin ended up sitting next to each other. Hyunjin bashfully put an arm around her shoulders and Cindy laughed at his playfulness before she spotted the same fan-camera filing them. She turned towards Hyunjin and he followed her gaze, before leaning to whisper something in her ear.
“Just wave and then they’ll get confused,” he said, trying not to laugh, and so they did just that. After a few seconds of them smiling and waving at the camera, the fan hesitantly put it down and turned her attention towards the stage instead. Hyunjin and Cindy grinned at each other before also focusing on the stage. And when Cindy’s group won an award for, Hyunjin made sure to clap for them the most, to many of the idol’s amusement.
After the award show ended, the two groups, along with Oneus, decided to go out for a celebratory meal in happiness of all of them winning an award that night. Cindy leaned her head on Hyunjin’s shoulder as they watched their friends talk excitedly with each other, and for the first time in their relationship, they felt truly and blissfully at peace. They finally didn’t have to worry about Dispatch or any other reporters, anti-fans etc. They could finally be with each other the way they wanted. Of course, there was bound to be backlash, but as the saying goes, love conquers all.

Thank you! I’ll post the Maknae Line here.
Chan:
Chan was hunched over his workbook, immersed in lyrical creation. He felt bubbles of irritation arise in the back of his mind, hearing loud whispers coming from right outside the door. “Guys, do you need something?” He turned to look at Felix and Eric, who were suddenly in the doorway. They shifted uncomfortably, glancing down at Eric’s phone. “You know we wouldn’t interrupt you unless the crisis was really bad,” Felix started, trailing off and looking at Eric for support. “And the situation is bad…” Chan looked between them, expecting news. They stared at each other, motioning the other to start talking. Minho poked his head in the studio, glancing at Chan. “So did you tell him about y/n’s situation yet?” He looked at Chan, who was suddenly extremely white. Minho took this as a sign that they did, feeling sympathy. “Don’t worry bud, I don’t think it’s life threatening. And she’s strong, she’ll get through it.” He smiled and left, leaving Eric and Felix vulnerable. After a few minutes of blatant shock, Chan reached for his phone, dialing your number. “Hello? Chan?” “Y/n, what’s up?” “Nothing much, I’m just cleaning my room an-” “No. What’s up, like what’s new?” He heard you stop shuffling, “They told you? Chan, it’s not even serious, it’s just cholera. I just have to take meds.” “All around me are familiar faces” “What?” “Worn out places” “Chan-” “Worn out faces” “OKAY, I’m sorry I didn’t call. Dude, you don’t sleep enough already, I didn’t need to put extra on you.” “Bright and early for their daily races” “If you don’t- fine, bye.” “No, wait. Ugh, I hate this. Do you want me to get a flight back? Or FaceTime?” “FaceTime me. You can watch me sleep peacefully and take my meds.” “Hardy har. I bet your other boyfriends are already taking good care of you.” “Actually you know what? I’m gonna book a flight and come over there and sneeze on you. Do you want that, huh? Do you? Do you want to know death in her tangible form?” You heard Chan laugh, and smiled, relieved that he wasn’t stressed. “Yeah, I do. Tell her to kiss me instead of coughing though.” “Deal.”
Tumblr media
Minho:
You knew that Minho was usually serious and nervous around the time of major concerts and that if you told him that you had shattered your hip bone his stress levels would only elevate. Which is why you decided not to call him about it. Y/f/n arrived at the hospital about fifteen minutes after you had texted her, having run from campus to the hospital. “Are you trying to die?” She wheezed, out of breath, holding out a Chick Fil A bag. “Well, I guess you can stay. Toss the bag over.” She complied, collapsing on the end of the bed. “I,” she paused, trying to recover, “I called Hyunjin as soon as you called. He said he’d tell Minho after practice.” You began processing the information she was telling you, feeling overwhelmed. “What,” your voice was a screech. As if right on cue, your phone rang, flashing Minho’s contact. “Uh, hey babe.” “Don’t you fuc-, don’t ‘hey babe’ me y/n. The fuck were you doing?” “I crashed into a tree accidentally.” You heard silence on the other end, and then heavy breathing and muffled voices. “Are you twelve, how the hell did you manage to hit a tree?” “Uhh, I don’t know Min, don’t be mad at me.” He sighed heavily and you heard his soul almost leave his body. “I’m not mad, but I had to hear this from Hyunjin and he told me you’re in critical condition. And I’m not even there to be with you. God knows what y/f/n’s gonna do.” You glanced over at her, and she scowled. “I’m sorry Min, I didn’t wanna stress you out before tonight.” “Fuck the concert honestly,” you heard Chan yell something and then Minho muttering oh shit, “as I was saying, call me every twenty minutes even if I don’t respond so I know you didn’t die and text me whenever the doctors say anything. I love you and miss you and I think Chan’s gonna fuck me up so we’ll die together.” You felt laughter beginning to rise in your stomach, “Go hide, call me before you get on stage.” “Deal.”
Tumblr media
Woojin:
You called Woojin before you called your own parents, scared and stressed and needing him. “Y/n? Hey, what’s up?” You heard his tired voice and realized that you had called him in the middle of the night. “Y/n? You okay?” “Hey,” you could hardly manage to say a word before feeling hot tears trailing down your face.
Woojin woke up to Jeongin shaking him. “What?” he grumbled. “Y/n’s calling you,” Jeongin whispered, placing his phone on the nightstand before falling onto his own bed, rolling over. Woojin immediately unlocked his phone and answered your call. “Y/n? Hey, what’s up?” He heard no response and his concern increased. You usually never called after twelve, let alone at 4 am. “Y/n? You okay?” He heard tears and stress in you as you said “Hey” and immediately sat up, stress rising. “Hey, it’s okay, what’s happening?” He watched Jeongin roll over, concern crossing his face too. He heard you start crying audibly and immediately texted Chan from Jeongin’s phone, saying that he would be back as soon as he could. Jeongin glanced at the text and motioned to the phone glued to his ear. Woojin nodded and Jeongin got to work searching up tickets. “Hey, I’m coming home right now.”
No matter how much you resisted, six hours later he was by your side and clutching your hand. He had called your parents as soon as you explained what your doctor had told you. Your parents were sitting next to him, your mother in tears. The doctor explained your condition, saying that the procedure they would do was expensive and had high risks of being detrimental or unsuccessful, but it was the best option at the moment. After deliberating, your parents and you came to the decision that you would undergo surgery. Chan had called Woojin, checking in on you after Jeongin had explained the situation. The guys offered their support and postponed the concert to come to stick by you.
“You sure you’re okay? I can skip the next one-” “Woojin, it’s been a month, I’m fine. The doctor said I’m fine and all I need is rest.” “I know, but what if the surgery suddenly undoes itself?” “Bruh, that’s not even-, anyway how’s practice going?” “Good, JYP’s been on our case.” “Ugh, I might have to throw hands with him.” “Do it.” “I will once you finish the tour and come home.” “Deal.”
Tumblr media
Changbin:
Changbin scrolled through his texts while waiting for the show to start. His makeup artist had finished his stage look a couple minutes before the others, so he decided to call you just to check if everything was cool back home. When three calls went through with no answer, he glanced at the clock and then attempted another call. When your automated message played again, he tossed his phone aside, confused. You would always text or call him to wish him good luck right before concerts. He felt his head start spinning as panic began setting off alarms in his brain. “Bin, you aight?” Felix placed a hand on his shoulder, steadying him. “Yeah, yeah I’m fine.”
The concert ended and the boys began packing and getting ready to leave. Changbin checked his texts, seeing a missed call from you. He cursed under his breath, scolding himself for not checking it between songs. He dialed your number, trying to rid himself of worries. You were fine, it was just the fact that he couldn’t see you that was creating problems. Which was what he was telling himself before he heard a click and instant crying. “Y/n?” His voice was strained and panicked, which was obvious since the other members instantly turned with concern plastered across their faces. “Changbin, I miss you and my leg hurts and I wanna go hommeee. Also, I love you hehe.” “What? Where are you right now? Why does your leg hurt?” He heard y/f/n scold you and take the phone. “Hey Changbin, Y/N GO TO SLEEP OH MY-,” he heard pillows being whacked around before she continued, “y/n’s high off pain meds. She broke her leg jumping off the diving board. Sorry if you were worried.” “WHAT? Is she okay?” “Yeah, she overexaggerated the pain and they gave her stuff and now she’s loopy.” Changbin exhaled all of the anxiety that had been accumulating. “Tell her to call me when she’s okay.” “Sure.”
He answered on the first ring. “So, Binnie, some mistakes were made.” “Yeah, they were. What were you thinking y/n? Do you even know how worried I was?” “Ugh, I know, I’m sorry. I just wanted to talk to you.” “Not that, dumbass, how the hell did you manage to break- nevermind actually. I’m just glad you’re okay now.” He sighed. “Well, the ‘i love you’ definitely helped.” “I said it on pain meds.” “So I guess it was fake. Just like our relationship.” “BINNIE I LOVE YOU AND I’M NOT EVEN HIGH” “Say it to my face when I get home.” “Deal.”

District 9 - Hwang Hyunjin (Zombie apocalypse)
Requested
Genre’s: fluff, action, angst
Warnings: Gore
Maybe I should make another part?
(Part2)
Tumblr media
You trembled as you hid on an abandoned plane, dirt covering your clothes and hands. The last of your group was killed an hour ago, and now you were alone. You sat with your knees to your chest, helplessly sitting there like a lost puppy.
You were pretty fierce when it came to slaughtering night walkers, but right now you had to wait it out till dawn since you were alone.
The apocalypse was different from all the books and movies. The Night Walkers, as you called them, only came out at night and seemed to vanish during the day. There were special cases when certain walkers would be around during the day, but they were super slow when the sun was up.
You weren’t even supposed to be where you were. Your mission was to loot anywhere you could find for food and supplies, and your team got lost and ended up stuck until nightfall. There had been 8 of you, now just you were left.
You could hear the walkers slamming on the door to the plane. You flinched as you felt the plane rock.
“Fuck.” You hissed under your breath. You grabbed your bag that had only essentials and jumped out of the one window as the plane tilted. You ran as fast as you could, only a dagger for a weapon. You could hear the snarls and growls behind you.
You were about to turn when one ran into you and you fell over. It’s teeth snapped at you as you kept it away from your face with your arms. You were just able to reach your dagger and jam it into its eye, but just as you were about to get up, more started to hoard you. You closed your eyes tightly and braced yourself.
This is it.
You heard gunshots around you and then felt a hand grab your wrist and yank you to your feet, running as fast you could to keep up with him. He was tall, as you could see, as he dragged you away and into an abandoned house.
You both gasped as he leaned against the wall and slid down.
“Thank you for saving me.” You puffed out.
“What the Hell are you doing at night all by yourself? And just a dagger on you?” He asked, looking at you in disbelief.
“I-“
“Do you know how dangerous that is? Do you have no sense at all?” He asked, his eyes narrowed on you.
“My whole crew was killed! There were eight of us. We got trapped and didn’t get out until nightfall.” You said, feeling your eye fill with tears.
“.... I’m sorry.” He said softly.
You wiped at your eyes and looked down at your bloody dagger. Your best friend, who had died, had made it for you.
“I’m Hyunjin. What’s your name?” He asked.
“Y/N.” You responded.
He nodded and lifted his head to look out the window.
“We’ll wait here until the sun comes up.” He said.
As the night grew longer, the temperature dropped. You were wearing a tank top with straps on your biceps and thighs with small white symbols for your weapons and ripped up pants. You shivered as you were leaned against the wall, unable to sleep with everything that happened earlier. Hyunjin was across the room from you and noticed you shivering. He stood up and took off his jacked and put it over you. You looked up at him in shock as he looked down at you.
“You should’ve said you were cold.” He said.
“... Thank you.” You said, closing your eyes finally now that you were warm.
He gave a small side smile as he walked back to his spot. He moved a dresser in front of the door and decided to catch a few winks of sleep before the next day.
You both had been walking for miles in a thick wooded area, the cool air made the walk better, as it wasn't blaring hot or blistering cold.
“So... Where are we headed?” You asked.
“District 9.” He said.
“What’s that?” You asked.
“A safe haven my friends and I had made. There’s 9 of us, and we’ve taken in any survivor we could.” He said.
“Oh... How many people are there now?” You asked.
“Well, if you decide to come with me it’ll be 45.” He said.
“Wow, that’s a lot more than I thought.” You gasped in disbelief.
“Yeah I know, we’re trying to keep humanity alive at this point.” He said.
“What’s it like there?” You asked.
“Well, we built it around an army base, we made metal walls to protect us from the walkers. We have small farms, medics, scientists, and everything.” He said.
“That’s amazing!” You gasped.
“Yeah.” He smiled at your reaction.
“What are your friends like?” You asked.
“Well... Chan is our leader. He’s really warmhearted and smart. He’s the founder of district 9. Woojin is the oldest out of our group, he’s strong and clinical, and usually makes the plans for missions. Minho is our weapon maker, he’s really smart. And a smartass.” He said, rolling his eyes after he talked about MInho. You laughed as he continued.
“Changbin is tough. He usually leads the missions and has the highest kill count. Jisung and Felix are our spies I guess you could say. They’re really skilled with blending in and sneaking around. Which is weird because Jisung is the loudest.” His eyes were sparkling as he talked about his friends.
“Seungmin is our scientist, and he’s REALLY good. He’s trying to find a cure or at least something to protect us. And our youngest is Jeongin, he’s a beginner medic. He’s really soft and sensitive, and can almost like, feel when someone's in pain.” He said.
“You all seem like quite the bunch.” You said.
He smiled at you and nodded.
“And what about you?” You asked.
“Me? I’m the best gunslinger. I have the best aim and can shoot from far ranges and still manage to get a head shot.” He said.
“Yeah I could tell your skills were good after you managed to shoot most of the walkers that surrounded me.” You said.
He smiled at you then stopped dead in his tracks. You looked to where he was looking and saw a young child laying on the ground, her eyes wide open and her stomach ripped open. You covered your mouth and backed into Hyunjin who led you away.
“This is the worst part about scouting, besides the risk of losing your life and a teammates.” He said.
He stopped and started to load up a gun as he looked at the sky.
“It’s gonna start getting dark soon. Can you shoot?” He asked.
You nodded and he loaded up a second gun and handed it to you as you both continued through the woods until you came across a small, abandoned town. He kicked through a door and looked around, you following behind and checking all the other rooms.
“It looks clear.” He said, looking at you.
A female walker suddenly appeared and leaped onto his back, earning a yelp from him. He struggled to keep her teeth away from his neck as he was dropping to his knees at her weight.
Not wanting to draw any attention to the house you were both in, you reached into one of your thigh straps for your throwing knives and chucked one at her, hitting her right in her forehead. She dropped and Hyunjin gasped for air as he looked at her and back at you.
“Nice shot.” He said, smiling while he huffed.
“Thank you.” You smiled back.
You both barricaded the doors and took advantage of the chimney that still had wood in it. You sighed in relief when you turned on the shower and warm water came out. You scrubbed yourself clean and looked around the house. Luckily, the women had nice clothing and you slipped into leggings and another black tank top, putting your straps down for the night so you can clean your knives and dagger.
“That daggers nice, did you make it? It looks hand crafted.” Hyunjin said. He had found some non perishables and you both sat around the fire eating after you both had showered.
“Nah, my best friend did.” You said, your stomach dropping and losing your appetite after bringing him up.
“.... Did they die yesterday?” He asked.
You nodded and put down your can of food as you ran your fingers over the handle.
“... Do you want to talk about it?” He asked.
“There’s nothing much to talk about really. He was the leader of the group, and he thought it’d be a good idea for us to go looting where we were. A lot of people who are actually alive now are sick. They trapped us there purposely and let us out when the walkers came out. He... He was the last to die. And I hid in that plane because I didn’t know what to do.” You said.
“That’s terrible. I’m sorry.” He said, his eyes genuine.
“It-It’s okay. I know none of us are going to live for very long.” You said.
“Don’t think like that. That’s how you get yourself killed.” He said.
You gave him a small smile before yawning.
“I think I’m gonna sleep, we have a lot of walking to do still.” You said.
He smiled and nodded.
“Goodnight Hyunjin.” You said, laying on the couch.
“Goodnight Y/N.” He said.
You opened your eyes to the little bit of sunlight that came in through the barricaded windows. You sat up and stretched as you looked across to the couch Hyunjin had slept on. You noticed it was empty and looked around for him. When you couldn’t find him, your heart began to beat through your chest.
“Hyunjin? Hyunjin?!” You yelled for him.
You felt yourself begin to panic. You felt an arm on your arm and you whipped around to see Hyunjin’s face with alarm across it.
“What? What is it?” He asked.
You sighed in relief and he looked at you in confusion.
“I couldn’t find you, I thought you left or something happened.” You said.
“I wouldn’t leave you alone Y/N.” He said.
“Well that’s a relief.” You laughed, trying to laugh off the anxiety.
He gave you a smile before grabbing his things.
“We should start going so we have more time to get there.” He said.
You nodded and put your straps back on and grabbed all of your belongings.
You both walked as the sun was high in the sky, meaning safety. But you had to admit, having Hyunjin there made you feel a lot safer. His gentle voice and protective aura made you feel a lot better than you had when you had met him a few days ago.
You both came across a small store and he slowly led you inside, bot of your guns raised. He gave you the signal it was all clear and you both grabbed a few waters and some snacks. You laughed as you grabbed a box and he looked at you in confusion. You threw him the box and he gasped and looked at you. It was a box of condoms.
“Don’t be silly, wrap your willy.” You chuckled.
“Are you coming onto me?” He asked, a small smirk on his face as he raised an eyebrow.
“You wish.” You laughed, grabbing bottles of painkillers and first aid supplies.
He ripped the box open and dumped the contents in and you looked at him in shock.
“Hey we need these, no one wants babies in this fucked up world.” He said.
You rolled your eyes and you both headed back out of the small store, guns raised again to make sure nothing was outside. You dropped your weapons as he led you to the other side of the woods.
“Are you comfortable going through more woods? It’s faster but I just want to make sure you’re okay with it.” He said.
Awe, how sweet.
“Yeah I’m okay with it.” You said.
He nodded and led you through the woods, his eyes scanning the perimeter. He stuck his hand out in front of you quickly and you stopped as he listened.
“I think I hear something. Wait here for a minute, okay?” He asked.
You hesitantly nodded and he slowly crept through the woods and disappeared. You weren’t anxious because you were alone, surprisingly, but because you were scared he wouldn’t come back. You heard a twig snap and you tilted your head.
“Hyunjin?” You asked, looking around.
Everything was silent as you had an eerie feeling. a twig snapped behind you and you turned, your gun raised. What you said made your stomach twist in knots as you held back from throwing up. There, right in front of you, stood the empty, undead corpse of your best friend. He was only dead a couple days, so he didn’t look like he was rotting away. He looked almost exactly like he did before he did, besides his chest and throat being ripped open and his eyes were clouded and white. You stepped back and stumbled over a branch as he began to limp towards you, animalistic growls coming from him.
“N-No.” You whimpered. He stopped and you saw his face twist.
“N...N... Y/N?” He said. Your stomach churned all the way and it took everything in you not to throw up the non perishables. He stopped for a moment before he charged at you. You closed your eyes tightly as you heard a gun shot ring out and a soft thud. You slowly opened your eyes and saw him face down on the ground, a gun shot wound to his head. You stared at him before you started to cry hysterically.
“Y/N?! What’s wrong?” Hyunjin asked, dropping next to you and holding your shoulders.
He looked at the body beside him and saw a small symbol on the straps of its biceps, and realized they matched yours. He looked down at you with a sad look.
“Y/N, is that...?” He asked.
You nodded as a sob shook your body and he pulled you tightly into him. You cried harder as you buried your face into his chest. He began to stroke your hair as his arms were around you tightly. His strong arms and the sound of his heartbeat calmed you down as you held onto him tightly. He began to hum to you until your body completely relaxed and you pulled away. You saw the spot on his chest was soaked and you gave an awkward laugh.
“Sorry.” You said, wiping your eyes.
He gave you a soft smiling before rubbing your shoulder.
“It’s okay. But man, I really thought I shot too late and you got bit.” He sighed.
“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t of froze up like that.” You said.
“It’s okay, just don’t do that again. I thought you were a goner.” He said.
He got up and stretched his hand out, offering it to you. You took it as he helped you up and held onto your waist to make sure you were steady. You took in his scent, pine trees and fresh air. You both looked at each other until you heard a familiar sound and turned around as fast as you could. In the distance, you saw a huge black stallion galloping towards you.
“Arlo!” You called to him.
Arlo was your friends horse who had gotten loss in the squabble between your group and the others. Your horse had died the month before, protecting you from a walker. Arlo slowed down as he came close to you and you threw your arms around his neck and buried your face into it.He nickered at you and wrapped his neck around your back. You pulled away and stroked his neck softly.
“Wow, he’s beautiful.” Hyunjin said.
You smiled and hooked your foot into the strap on Arlo’s saddle and hauled yourself up, then reached a hand out for Hyunjin. He smiled and grabbed it as he got on behind you.
“Just tell me where to lead him and we’ll get to District 9 faster.” You said.
He nodded as you brought Arlo to a gallop through the woods. You felt your heart lighten at the situation. Having Arlo made it easier to get to safety, and you had a piece of everyone who died with you. You felt Hyunjin’s chin on your shoulder as you brought Arlo down to a trot as you passed through a very broke down town. You both looked around. There were a lot of bodies everywhere, a lot of them with bullet wounds in them.
“They... They were all killed by humans.” Hyunjin said angrily. You nodded as you felt his grip around your waist tighten.
“Lets get out of here fast.” He said.
You nodded as Arlo began to gallop again. You all came to a small pond and you let Arlo drink from it as you both sat down and drank some of the water you got out of the store and ate some canned food.
“I miss fast food.” He said, laughing.
“So do I. And I used to complain about it making me fat. Now I miss it.” You laughed.
“You? Fat? I think you’d look cute chubby.” He said, laughing.
Your face turned a little red and you gulped down your water to hide it. After eating you both hopped back on Arlo’s back, as it was getting dark.
“There should be another town not too far from here, especially with him.” He said.
You nodded as Arlo galloped through an open road. After about 20 minutes it had gotten almost dark. You felt worry fill you, but Hyunjin rubbed soft, comforting circles on your arm as he clutched you tightly from behind. As you approached a town, you felt relief fill you, which soon turned to horror as you saw a group of walkers rushing you on the sides.
“Faster Y/N!” Hyunjin yelled from behind you.
You gripped Arlo’s reigns and screamed I’m sorry in your head as you brought them down roughly, causing him to dash forward. You both came to the first big house and you rushed Arlo into it along with the both of you. You both blocked the doors as the walkers started to rush the house. You ushered Arlo up the stairs and into the biggest room as you both looked out the window. A whole hoard surrounded the house. You closed your eyes tightly and hugged yourself.
This really has to be it this time.
You felt Hyunjin’s hands on your arms as he made you look at him.
“We can’t give up now Y/N!” He said.
“What are we going to do?” You asked
“We’ll think of something. I promise.”

                    *·—————   𝕄𝔾𝔸 SEASON 5 !!
                                                              ( DUO ROUND )                                                 feat. CHOI MINHO — @rkmason                                               ♡   I’m Yours + Down In The DM   ♡
when it’s time for the remaining dancers to stand on the stage, nakyung chooses to stand in a corner at the back. she hadn’t expected to make it to top 3 — especially since that was something they didn’t even know was going to happen. it’s when they’re all standing there that she realizes how small she is compared to everyone else. it’s not only in size but in everything else. when the second name is called and it isn’t hers, the girl covers her mouth with a hand, holding back any other reaction for them to catch. she could probably cry now, but she wouldn’t.
somehow, when they announce who would partnered with who is when her shock truly peaked.
as soon as his name was spoken out loud her eyes went straight to him. of course she knew where he was seated. how couldn’t she? but then they said her name right after which basically meant that next week the two of them would have to be in a performance together. that basically meant that the two of them would have to work together during that entire week. before he can find her, her eyes fall to the ground. oh, god… she had just been paired with romeo himself.
                    *·—————
he’s nice and polite ( and tall ) and nakyung can only wonder if he had paid her any attention throughout the competition or if this is the first time he actually heard her name. it’s not something she asks, though, because it’d most likely put them both in an awkward position.
it’s mind-breaking to get his contact information and suddenly, all of nakyung’s dilemmas over being part of something like this appear so small. she was starstruck and that was enough to numb anyone but most certainly lee nakyung, your resident superfan.
minho ( which she guesses is what she should get used to calling him by ) invites her to go out and have dinner together. it’d be good to discuss any ideas and get to know each other and nakyung can’t stop thinking this is probably all false. it doesn’t feel like a dream, but she had had dreams that felt like real life before. she had also dabbled in the fanfic life before. this was a perfect case of y/n and she couldn’t believe she was it and not barbara palvin.
for their first official gathering inside a proper practice room ( provided by him, of course ), he tells her to bring someone else if she’d like just so it won’t be too awkward for the two of them to be together. even if it’s something nakyung hadn’t considered before, she appreciates it. technically, they were strangers to each other, after all, and it’d be smart to be wary of anything.
“come on, please! you can just sit in the corner and do whatever you do!” nakyung chooses her brother as her companion, but the older male doesn’t look too happy with her decision. “it’s romeo! please don’t let me down in front of romeo!”
it only takes a bit of her little sister charm for it to work. her brother does about the minimal that he could. in one of the corners of their practice room, joowon sat and turned on his computer. he had things to do for college, so there were enough things to grab his attention where he was. from time to time, she could still feel his gaze either from behind her or through the mirror. ends up it was good to have him there, after all.
nakyung thought it’d be the opposite, but it makes it less awkward when she asks for minho to sign one of the convex debut albums she owned. it’s better that he felt fine doing it, but at least she pushed that horse out of the rain on their first day of practice. if he had refused she could have worked on getting their friendship mended throughout the rest of the week. turns out things were turning out okay for her. god, maybe she might as well go for the win.
she had never choreographed anything before and it felt heavy on her that minho would probably need to do it all, as well tone it down a bit to match her level of skill. nakyung adds creativity input while they discuss what exactly they’d like to perform, but she would have never guessed to go much further than that. except that when they put their thoughts to practice, the man makes sure to teach her everything properly so that she can get the movements right, and then asks for ideas of her own to add into the final product. it actually felt like she was doing something this time unlike the previous round when she had to prove her worth with a choreography she didn’t have her heart on. she’d really like to win with this. she really would.
                    *·—————
their seats are assigned this time so they’re in a corner, minho more than her. this also means they’ll be the first ones to go. she’s unsure how she’ll truly feel about it until she’s on the floor, but right now she’s a bit nervous. the factor of having fewer performances would already put more attention on her, but her partner being one of the people getting the most attention out of this could only mean she’d be getting some of that too — possibly not in a positive way.
so she pulls at her fingers, something the girl usually does when she’s nervous. the only remedy now is to wait.
and she does, sitting where she’s told while occasionally picking at the choker around her neck to make it more comfortable. when it’s time for the judges to go to their seat, she’s not as surprised anymore. there’s only a smile on her lips as she claps for their entrance. they look about as majectic as ever, and the aura around them will probably never truly fade. nakyung wishes one day to be like them, but there’s still a long road to roam.
they had requested a sofa for their performance days prior, to which the staff agreed to deal with. when it’s their turn ( which is the first turn ), one of the couches from backstage is on top of the stage and waiting for them to use it. as numbers go, minho introduces himself first, and then the girl gets her chance to do it too. “i’m contestant 5030, lee nakyung! please watch us nicely!” she seriously hopes they do and that hopefully their high expectations wouldn’t not be met because of her.
she’s the one who starts by laying down on the sofa, minho on the floor. they’d be playing the roles of a cat and a dog, respectively, and a playful fight normally associated by the two animals. the idea came from cartoons they liked such as tom and jerry, and her brother being there made it easy for her to think of how fighting like that could be. and so, their main idea was formed, and hopefully, people would enjoy it as much as she does.
when the audio starts playing it sounds like someone is leaving a house, the sound of a door closing and a car driving off notifying people that the two are alone now. nakyung, the cat, tries to sleep peacefully, but of course, that minho, the dog, decides to go pester her. it’s when their first chosen song starts to play. it’s a soft contrast from what’ll come later, and since it was very famous when it came out, people would probably easily recognize it or sing along.
once she’s out of the couch they start to dance, not completely leaving the theatricals behind them but putting a bit more focus on what they had to show. they had a concept, after all, and they didn’t plan on only using it at the start and then leaving it behind. minho raises her in the air as she extends her legs out and then lands on the floor. when she’s up again, he turns around, and nakyung jumps on his back like a playful cat would. it’s a hard thing to do considering their rather significant difference in height, but the way her arms not so completely connect to his shoulders is sort of useful when the girl slides herself back down to the floor with an unamused face. it says sure, the dog won this time, but a cat is always planning ahead.
it’s when he extends his arms and she goes running to him that this proves correct. her hand in a fist aims at his face, but them practicing it beforehand made it certain that she wouldn’t actually hit him. the loud sound of glass shattering makes it seem like so, though.
nakyung giggles onto her hands and the song around them starts to change. this is the change people should have been waiting for. it’s strong, energetic music, and the girl pops her chest, following along with the planned choreography. they didn’t completely leave their concept behind, however. her hands often act like paws, her expression is coy like a cat, and the added sound of growling puts in the dog factor as well.
as their performance start heading to its end, they get into a shuffle dance leading onto their final pose. minho holds onto her as she smiles to the judges, but the sound of an arriving car warns them that someone is back. as simply as that, the man throws her on the floor, but she catches herself safely after days of practicing for this. nakyung shakes herself in anger and, on her way back to the couch, makes sure to step on minho’s stomach.
back to their original position, it’s how their performance ends.
waiting for a few seconds, she stands up after minho does, bowing to the judges and the other contestants before walking back to their assigned seats. the whole way there, there’s a smile on her face. what they had to do was done, and now all that’s left is watching everyone else. “i think we did well.” she whispers minho’s way while the next act gets ready. she truly thinks they did.

Bodyguard au!Minho
My first shot at a bodyguard au which I am doing with 3 amazing writers: @changbeanie, @stk0t9, and @doublekn0t !!
My story is the first of our collab, so please look out for their scenarios as well!!
“Agent y/n, report to Chief Lee’s office immediately.” I peered up from my training, pulling a knife out of my dummy. I scoffed at the agent who was calling me to Chief Lee’s room. It was protocol to never interrupt another agent while they were training, especially during weapons training.
“I’ll be there right away.” I answered curtly, already irritated by the older man. For some reason, the men here always interrupted woman, never men, like my training wasn’t as important.
The agent nodded and walked off, his boots clicking on the wooden floor.
“What was that about?” I felt a wet towel hit my shoulder and I grabbed it quickly so that it wouldn’t soak my shirt. I looked over to the older boy, Woojin, who happened to be my only friend in the agency. I trusted all the others, but the rest were strictly just my coworkers.
“Your guess is just as good as mine.” I scoffed and tossed the towel back at the boy. “I’ll see you later right? For ramen?” The boy nodded and shooed me away, making me flinch from the sweat-filled towel.
“Yes and now go before you lose the only job you’re good at.” Even though I glared at the boy, I knew it was true. With my temper and strong loyalty, being a bodyguard was the best job for me.
I was in no mood to make friends with anyone in my workplace since I was used to working alone and being here made me realize this was perfect for me. Bodyguards were always traveling and flying; it was basically impossible to settle in one place.
I snapped out of my thoughts and stood in front of the chief’s room. I knocked twice, paused, then knocked three times-this was the normal knock we had for all agents. In a facility made for distrust, we needed to keep a few secrets.
I heard the door open and I came face to face with the director of the agency, making me slightly nervous.
“Ah, hello Agent y/n, I hope I didn’t bother you too much with my call.” I shook my head and stepped in the room.
“No you didn’t, I was just training, as I do most days.” I answered curtly. My boss nodded and closed the door, locking it shut.
“Good, good,” He started. Suddenly, his gaze turned serious. I raised a brow at the man, wondering what his motives were. “I’m going to just be blunt with you and tell you that you’re one of the agents I trust most, ok? In a facility like this, I can only trust a few since rumors of disloyalty have been going around in other secret agencies.” I nodded, although I wasn’t sure what he was getting at.
Quickly, the man threw a letter at me. I grabbed the thing as it flew and held it in my hands. I examined the thing, but it simply looked like a normal letter.
“This letter was sent to me earlier today, and I was unsure of how to deal with it until now.” I scanned through the thing, my eyes furrowed in confusion at the words.
“This letter basically says how there’s a mole in this agency who is threatening to released all of our top information including where our bodyguards are going to be next, who we’re protecting, and more. And the sad thing is, I don’t know who the mole is and I don’t know how I’m going to find them. It’s not like I can go rummage through every person there is as that would lead to even more drama and chaos, which I do not want.” He then stared at me intensely which ran shivers down my spine.
“So, you want me to keep an eye on the other agents?” I asked hesitantly. I was still unsure of what this man was trying to tell me. He sighed and shook his head.
“No, no, well, that would be nice, but not the main thing.” The man loosened his tie and leaned back on his table. It was weird seeing my boss like this since he was always put together; I knew that his next words were going to be frightening.
“Well, so, in the letter, since I read all of it, it stated that the way they’re going to force the answer out of me instead, using the one thing I care about....” He trailed off, probably thinking of this person. I shifted uncomfortably on my feet, not knowing who I was going to have to protect with my life.
“Since my wife has passed for several years now, I assume they’re aiming for my son, Minho. So, y/n, I’m asking you to protect my son, who happens to be the boy I trust with my whole life and love most dearly, can I trust you to do this?” I felt his intense gaze on me, filling me with determination and loyalty.
“Of course, how old is your son? 10ish?” I questioned. The man chuckled at my question, making me feel silly.
“Oh I wish, he might be easier to work with then. He’s 19. And strongly against bodyguards and the people I work with, he thinks they’re just overrated police officers, but of course he doesn’t get why certain people need more protection than others.”
“And also, you need to hide your identity from him, if he knows you are one of my guards, he’ll probably... not be as nice to you.”  I nodded, hoping the dude wasn’t as big as a nutcase as Chief Lee said he was.
“Don’t worry, sir. You can trust me to protect him with my life.”
As I shook his hand, I realized how I had been in training for 10 years and never had interacted with a normal boy my age.
I mean, no bigger, how hard could it be?
-----
I gazed at the large building that was known as the famous Yonsei University.
Let’s just get this day over with and stalk the boy, just a normal day.
I walked towards my first class; I got there fairly quickly since I had investigated the uni before attending. Somehow, Chief Lee got me the exact schedule as Minho, which would most likely make the boy suspicious but these were the risks we were willing to take.
I plopped down at the back of the classroom so I was able to scan the whole classroom. I felt uneasy as I scanned the whole class since I didn’t know when and where our enemies would attack.
In the corner of my eye, I saw the brown haired boy walk into the classroom with the swagger his father had described. It was my first time seeing the boy, and I admit, he wasn’t hard on the eyes. He was wearing a striped white shirt over a black v neck and black skinny jeans. He looked as if he was going to his yacht after class, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he owned one.
He acted as if he was bored and disinterested and sauntered over to the back of the classroom.
By a stroke of luck, the boy plopped in the seat right next to mine, kicking his legs out and took up too much space for my liking.
It’s only been 2 seconds since I’ve seen this boy, yet I just wanna punch him in the face.
Then, he stretched his arms, almost hitting me in the head. Out of instinct, I grabbed his wrist and set his arms on the table.
Shit, I’m probably not supposed to do that. But that thought flew out of my head as his reaction. He scoffed, rolling his eyes at me like child.
I stared into his eyes to assert that I wasn’t scared of him while he just glared at me like he was mad about something. Then, his eyes lit up with a mischievous glint.
“So, what’s your deal?” He asked, throwing me for a loop.
“What do you mean?” I played innocent, shrugging at his words. Minho smirked and leaned back in his chair.
“Well, it’s about a week into summer quarter and you just arrived, and I’m pretty sure everyone shows up for the first day.” I opened my mouth to speak, but he cut me off before I could utter a word.
“And, the fact that you just put your hands on me, which means you don’t know who I am at all.” Before I could stop myself, I let out a scoff and a smile, shaking my head in response to his words.
“And who do you happen to be that you can do what you please and no one says anything about it? You were about to hit my face, I did what a normal person who wants to protect their face would do.” I realized that I was talking more than I wanted to; I was planning to keep quiet and follow him quietly in his shadows, yet here I was practically yelling at the boy.
Minho scoffed my statement and scooted closer to my face. “My father just so happens to know some people who could take you out like that.” He snapped his fingers to show me that he wasn’t playing around.
Wow, this boy is such a dumbass, does he go around telling everyone this? No wonder why Chief wanted me to keep an eye on him.
I clenched my jaw shut, knowing I couldn’t just out myself that easily.
“Oh, I’m so scared.” I mocked fear. I felt joy when I saw the boy narrow his eyes at me, like he was scaring me somehow.
“Ok class, how are you guys today?”
The professor started class which made him close his mouth, blocking him from saying whatever he was going to say.
Once class was over, Minho hurried out of the room like he had something to do. I grunted in displeasure since I had to follow the boy everywhere. And since he didn’t like me, I had to do it secretly.
I packed my bag quickly and followed behind the snotty boy.
It wasn’t rare for me to dislike who I was protecting, but this guy just rubbed me the wrong way right off the bat. He didn’t know how the agency was to be protected and not be brought up every time he gets in a fight with someone. He didn’t seem like someone who fought his own battles.
What did you expect y/n? You were hired to protect him.
I mentally scoffed and tip toed around people, keeping an eye on the boy.
I followed him to a cafe which he ordered an ice americano. I rolled my eye at the drink choice. I saw him about to step out, but then stopped to talk to a girl who was batting her eyelashes at him.
I sighed. This is gonna be more tiring than I thought.
-----
Watching Minho was actually less eventful than I thought. He flirted with girls from time to time, yet he was pretty boring. He studied through the weekdays and rarely went out, thank God.
Except, I started supervising him Monday, and it was currently a Saturday night when I picked noticed him leaving his house.
Oh shit, where is this boy going?
I quickly pulled on a dark hoodie over my dark jeans and white v neck, hoping I would blend in with the world. I saw him get in his car and leave, making me have to do the same. I trailed far behind him, hoping he wouldn’t notice me.
“Where is this boy going what the fuck. I need my sleep.” I groaned, even though I knew this was part of my job.
It was a peaceful drive until I saw bright, blinking lights all over. What the fuck?
I drove into the parking lot, far behind Minho as I watched him getting out of the car.
“And yup he is at a club. Great.” I parked my car angrily and sighed while I walked out. Before I left my car, I through off my hoodie so I could somewhat blend in. Just as I stepped out, my ears were filled with loud noises and screaming young adults.
I followed quickly behind Minho, but I saw him high five other people before heading someplace else. One guy handed him a shot and the boy downed it in one gulp. I sighed, realized the dumbass wasn’t gonna be able to drive his ass home.
“Let’s hit it on the dancefloor, I don’t wanna talk tonight!” A girl yelled at him, pulling him onto the floor. Minho’s brows were furrowed, yet since the boy was tipsy after taking 2 more drinks, he followed the girl and started to dance with her. I rolled my eyes at the cheesy sight of young adults, and probably teens, grinding on each other and getting wasted for no reason.
The loud music was starting to get on my nerves, yet I was never allowed to drink on the job, even if the protectee offered me one.
“Hey what’s a pretty lady like you going around here?” I felt a dip in the couch I was sitting in and I glared at the wasted boy who was trying to fling his arm around me. I grunted and pushed him away.
“Back off, dude,” I growled. Thankfully, the guy was too drunk to do anything so he just hobbled away. I straightened out my shirt and looked up to see Minho heading in my direction. I quickly stood and stood at a different angle, hoping the boy wouldn’t recognize me.
“Hey! Drinks on me!” A taller boy with curly brown hair yelled, making the small crowd whoop and holler. I was thankful he was gathered with one group and not flouncing everywhere.
I could barely hear what they were hearing at my far distance, and also at the loud volume.
Just then, Minho’s drink was handed to him, and like a dummy, he set it down. Suddenly, I felt something block my vision and I stumbled back a few steps at the movement.
“What the-” In the corner of my eye, I saw a hand dip down and pour something into Minho’s drink. My eyes widened, realized this was a plan by the mole. I ran past the thing blocking my vision and leapt towards Minho.
I was too late.
He downed the drink and apparently, the powder was stronger than I thought. He set the glass down, falling to the floor quickly. I shoved past the wasted bodies and got to him.
“What the fuck?! What’s going on!” His friends yelled, making me nervous at this situation. All I could focus on was getting Minho out of danger and into safety.
I saw more bodies flood in, probably acting as a distraction for getting the knowledgeable boy. I cursed at the attack, but I realized this acted as a distraction for getting him out of here without anyone seeing us. I let the newcomers break up Minho’s group, making them scream as they got separated.
“Now, c’mon, let’s get you out of here.” I mumbled. I pulled his arm over my shoulder, although I could easily carry his whole body; I didn’t want anyone to be suspicious as to how I could do that.
As I hit the outside air, I heard the fuzzy screams of everyone inside. The parking lot was packed with people, making it hard to escape. Everyone was flooding outside and cars were hitting people left and right. I grumbled, heading for my own car that I parked outside of the venue.
Shit, I’m gonna have to drive him home.
I shoved the boy inside, who was luckily still knocked out, and drove out safely and quickly.
A piece of cake.
The hard part was deciding where to keep the boy.
“If I drop him off in his own house, that would create an opportunity for an attack. If I keep him at my place, it would just be awkward and suspicious no matter what.” I spoke out loud, trying to think of different scenarios. I looked at my couch which Minho had already taken advantage of and was snoozing away. I rolled my eyes and groaned at the sleepy boy.
I yawned as well, feeling the fatigue of the night and decided it was time for me to sleep anyways. I walked to my room and plopped on my bed, drifting off into a peaceful land where I didn’t have any problems.
-----
“What the fuck?!”
I awoke to the sound of another unfamiliar voice in my room. I rubbed my eyes and remembered all the events of last night. I groaned and rolled out of my bed.
I saw Minho sitting up, confused on where he was. He was looking around the whole room until his eyes landed on me. His eyes widened and he tried to stand, but fell down again.
“What am I doing in your house? What the hell, why did you kidnap me?!” He accused. I felt my head pound from getting a headache from the boy.
“First of all, I did you a favor, you were dead drunk in the club and your friends didn’t know what the fuck to do. I was too nice of a person to let you alone in the club, wasted like the dumbass you are, so I think the word you’re looking for is...” I ended my sentence, thinking he would finish it.
“Fuck you?”
“Thank you.” We muttered at the same time. I shrugged my shoulders, sipping my daily can of coca cola.
“Curse me out all you want, you looked pretty bad last night.” I was thankful I didn’t have to lie much, since the boy was in terrible condition. He just didn’t know why someone would do that and who I was.
He narrowed his eyes at me and ruffled his hair. I noticed the slick hair he once had was now a fluffy mess. “Why were you at the club anyways?” He spat, like I wasn’t allowed in. I raised a brow.
“The same as you: for fun.” I teased and set down the can of coke in a dramatic fashion. I then started up cooking chicken soup for the boy’s hangover.
“What are you doing?” He muttered. I saw him lay back down on the couch despite him whining over being in my house.
“Making breakfast because I need breakfast and you need breakfast as well. Hangovers don’t just disappear.” I laughed. The boy grumbled, but I knew he was thankful either way. I peacefully cooked him the dish since I’m pretty sure he passed out again. I realized my strategy should’ve been to make friends with the boy since it was much easier to watch over him this way, yet out personalities clashed immensely.
I turned off the stove and made a bowl for the poor boy. “Food is ready.” I mumbled, feeling like a mom. I saw the boy get up slowly and trudged on over to the bowl.
“Thanks.” He mumbled. I felt my ego inflate and made myself a bowl. We ate in peace, yet I felt like this wasn’t a stranger in my house but rather a friend. It must be because his father was my boss.
“So, really, what’s your deal?” He asked suddenly, making me sip my soup slowly.
“What do you mean?”
“Like, where are you from? There’s only a few college students I know who can afford an apartment like this on their own, so you’re either rich or...I don’t know.” He trailed off, probably trying to think, but couldn’t due to the alcohol still corrupting his mind. I chuckled at his question.
“Well, I bought this myself since I’m 20 years old, and worked during and after high school. I don’t buy many things so I can splurge on the things I do like.” I lied, the agency bought this apartment for me to be close to Minho. The boy nodded and hummed like my answer made sense.
“I see I see...are you new to this area?”
“Yup, lived in Busan for most of my life until I realized I needed a change.” I lied again. I’d lived in this area all my life. He nodded and slurped down all his soup.
“Ok, next question, why do you hate me so much?” He asked. I choked on my soup, making me set down my spoon. I admit, I was shocked at the question, mostly because I didn’t truly hate the boy, we just didn’t get along.
“First of all, I don’t hate you, I don’t know you well enough to hate you. And second, we just don’t get along, our personalities clash, but that doesn’t mean I hate you.” I explained calmly. I almost laughed at the question, this boy thought everything was about him.
“You always glare at me though, and give me dirty looks like I did something wrong. And honestly, I don’t know what I did to make you upset.” I pushed my bowl away and looked at him in the eyes.
“I don’t glare at you, that’s just my face. Not everything’s about you, Minho.” I couldn’t bite back the snark in my face, but felt pleasure when I heard his discontent.
“Oh wow, we’re having a civil conversation and suddenly you just attack me like this? How childish.” I felt my cheeks burn red and my temper fire up.
“Excuse me? You’re the one who instigated a fight when you asked why I hated you? I bring you to my house because I didn’t want you to be left in a night club, drunk as hell. And then I cook you breakfast? I expected a thank you, how about that?” Minho snorted and rolled his eyes at me, a habit I was starting to hate.
“Whatever, just take some pain killers and be on your way.” I grumbled. Minho brought out the child in me and I hated it. I was wrong, I would rather watch him from afar than spend time with this boy. He shrugged me off and headed for the door.
“I don’t need pain killers, I’ll just go while I’m civil enough. Goodbye and thanks for the food.” He said with the most insincere voice I’ve ever heard. I waved him off, and then realized I forgot to warn him.
“Hey wait!” I shouted after him. He surprisingly stopped, making me confused as to what my next words would be. “You shouldn’t go to that club again, it’s kinda dangerous.” I lamely said, unable to fully warn him to hide my identity. Minho raised a brow and shrugged off my warning.
“Whatever.”
I watched him walk away, still in the line of danger. All I could hope is that they didn’t act again.
-----
“So, how’s the mission going?” Woojin asked curiously. I shrugged even though I knew he couldn’t see me.
“Somewhat terribly but not the worst. There was an almost attack in the club last night, but I pulled Minho out of there as quickly as I could without anyone noticed. He was wasted so he doesn’t even remember what happened. Plus we just got in a fight because he had to crash at my place, and he’s insane.” I rambled to my best friend. Woojin was a great listener and I was a great talker; we fit perfectly.
“That sounds... eventful.” Woojin finished. I snorted at his choice of words.
“That’s an understatement. Now, what did you want to tell me?” I asked. Woojin had called me about 15 minutes ago, telling me he had important information, yet we always got sidetracked when we were on the phone together.
“Oh yeah, Chief wanted to tell you to check your texts in an hour, he said he would send you something important.” I snorted at the cryptic message.
“Ok, I hope it’s not any nudes. I’m sick of boys after being around Minho so long.” I joked. Woojin chuckled at my crude example.
“Are you sure? I’ve heard Minho isn’t too hard on the eyes.” I rolled my eyes and fiddled with my pencil in hand.
“I mean, he’s handsome, no doubt. He’s just... annoying.” I chuckled. I could actually feel Woojin wiggle his brows over the phone.
“You know what they say: there’s a fine line between love and hate.” He let out a loud chuckle, which made me pull the device far from my ear.
“And that’s a line I’m not going to cross.” Woojin hummed in disbelief, but I hoped he was joking.
There was no way I was becoming romantically involved with Minho.
Absolutely no way.
----
In an hour, I sat by my phone, waiting for the cryptic text by my boss.
It felt like I was waiting for eternity until my phone up. I flailed to catch my phone, and checked the message.
There is a rumored attack to happen tomorrow. I don’t know when or where, but I have a reason to believe it will be at Yonsei University. Do NOT let him out of your sight. Delete this text after you see this. Good luck and protect the boy.
And there goes my happy afternoon.
----
I felt anxiety run through my whole body; my body was sweating and felt cold at the same time. I sat in the lecture hall, waiting for the professor to come. Minho was by my side like usual.
I was usually never nervous for jobs like these, but since I knew there was going to be an attack, my senses were on high alert. I didn’t know when or where they would attack, and I hoped it wouldn’t be in a school. Although, it would be easy to get in, but also it would cause unwanted attention. Who knew what the other side was thinking.
“So, you cooled down from yesterday?” The boy asked, snapping me out of my thoughts. I whipped my head towards him.
“I was never fired up.” I lied. I was quite angry, but I wasn’t going to let him have that. I stared at his brown hair that was styled casually. He was wearing a gray v neck and jeans, a normal look for him. As I was bickering with him, I realized this was going to be my last day on the job. I was happy, yet I always get attached to the people I protect. You spend so much time with them that you get used to their lifestyle. But I do get over it.
The boy snorted and leaned back in his chair. “Sureeee, whatever you say.” He laughed. “I bet you only took care of me to protect whatever boy you were with that night.” I raised a brow at his accusation.
“First of all, I wasn’t there with a guy. Second of all, how would protecting you impress a boy?” The boy had absolutely no logic, I didn’t know what he was saying half the time. He chuckled, making me feel more at ease.
"I was just wondering if you were single or not. I don’t know what person would wanna go out with you anyways.” Before I could say anything else, the professor cut me off, leading into the long lesson.
----
It was almost the end of the school day, making me wonder when the attack would happen. I was just waiting and waiting and waiting to jump into action.
“You alright?” I whipped my head towards the voice and saw Minho staring at me with a confused expression. “You look a little tense, no need to glare at me.” He grumbled. “That’s what I get for worrying.”
He kept talking, yet I was paying no attention to him. I was paying attention to the duo in front of me.
“Hey, did you hear about the news?
“No, what happened??”
“I mean. nothing weird, but I heard that they closed down every class here today. Like it wasn’t announced or anything, but all the afternoon classes were cancelled. My sister told me she walked to class and there was a sign on the door that said class was cancelled. And my friend, the same thing. It’s weird that’s all.”
All the classes have been evacuated... except-
Suddenly a loud boom alarmed the classroom, sending everyone into a frenzy.
“EVERYBODY DOWN!” I yelled, my true nature coming out. It was down hiding as a school student.
“Y/n, what are you doing?” Minho’s voice was lost in the midst of the screams. I kicked down the class of the window.
“EVERYBODY OU-”
I felt a jolt of shock hit me as a table was thrown at me. I got it tightly and tossed it to the side. I saw most of the students evacuating the classroom, but of course, Minho was still there.
“You dumbass, run!” I yelled. He stood there in shock at the whole ordeal and while I wanted to pull his ass out of there, all I could do was stand there and protect him. I felt bullets run past me, nearly grazing my skin.
Appearing from the shadows was a clocked agent in my uniform. Their face was hidden, but I could tell they were male.
I grabbed a dagger from my backpack and through it at him as a distraction to get my gun out. The security was terrible.
I ran under the desks, dodging the quickly fired shots. One thing I knew for sure- they wouldn’t kill Minho, and I would use that to my advantage.
I grunted and pulled out my gun.
Do I kill or do I injure? I want to investigate him later right?
I aimed at his arm, firing in quick successions, but he ran to the left.
“Screw the investigation, I’m killing this bitch.” I loaded my gun again and shot rapidly, hoping it would hit him, anywhere really.
“Hah! Is that all you got bitch? That’s why they don’t let woman in this field.” I raised a brow at his ignorant words, and knew I was going to kill him.
He held his gun up again, aiming it straight for my head. I ducked and hit the table, but realized nothing was shot.
“You’re out of bullets.” I whispered. I took my shot and jumped for the mole, both of us hitting the ground. We both grunted when coming in contact with the table, but I recovered faster. I kicked him in the gut and spiraled around to pin him down.
I took off the man’s mask and there it unveiled someone I didn’t expect.
“Chief Lee... h-how could you?” As I was in shock, I felt someone pull my body off of his.
“Stupid girl, how did you not figure it out sooner? I barely know you! I would never trust you!” He let out a loud cackle that made me sick to my stomach.
From the anger and betrayal, I felt my energy increase.
“You son of a bitch.” I flipped my body up to strangle the man who was holding me and stuck a knife in his arm. He fell to the ground and immediately I turned my attention on Chief Lee.
“That’s it? I know I’m a son of a bitch, but I’m much stronger than you.” I shook my head at his words.
“Why? Why are you doing this?” I demanded. Why would he ask me to protect his son? When he was just planning to kill me? He could’ve done this long ago.
“My son, is a stupid piece of trash. I don’t care about his life. I just needed someone to spy on him so I could kidnap him later, he always knows when I’m around, but you, you my girl could stalk him undercover. You are one of my best agents.” His hand caressed my cheek, which snapped me out of my trance.
“He didn’t even visit his poor momma when she died because he knew he killed her. What a terrible young ma-” I slapped him before he could say anything, knowing Minho wouldn’t want to hear any of his bullshit.
“That’s bullshit, and I’m going to kill you-” I felt him grab my arm, twisting it so it would break. I squirmed out of his grasp and kicked him in the face. I gave him another blow to the head, knocking him back.
I saw a mental glint in the corner of my eye. I jumped back and grabbed my own gun.
I raised it at his chest, not shaking as I did so. I saw him raise his as well, it was a new one, fully loaded.
“You wanna shoot first? I’ll let you. Just for fun.” I felt my heart slow down at the prospect of my situation. I knew I was going to die.
“You know that if you shoot me I will shoot you right after, so what’s the point?” I barked. The man laughed hysterically which made my blood boil.
“Oh y/n, it’s because I know you wouldn’t shoot an old man. You don’t have the balls to do so. I know you don’t like my son, you wouldn’t get shot just to save his life, would you now?”
It’s true, I didn’t like Minho. That was even an understatement, he just rubbed me the wrong way.
But this was my job.
And I had to fulfill my duties as a bodyguard.
I tightened my grip on the gun, aiming it straight of the head.
A shot rang out through the classroom; dizziness rang through my head at the sound and at the stench of blood coating the floors.
I raised my head and saw a tiny hole in the middle of Chief Lee’s stomach.
I touched my abdomen and felt... nothing. I looked to my left and saw Minho with a gun raised at his own father.
“Did you just...” I stuttered out. The boy nodded and dropped the gun to the ground as his father fell from the loss of blood. “You didn’t have to, I would’ve-”
He held a hand up to silence me. “I know you would’ve and that’s why I shot him. This was my battle to fight in the first place and you got caught in the middle of it.”
I was shocked by his maturity and sincerity, yet I could see where he was coming from.
Soon, sirens echoed through the shots, and my job was done.
-----
I spent days at the police station which was driving me crazy. It was hours and hours of investigation and questioning and all sorts of things, it was driving me crazy.
“Hey.” I heard a familiar voice say, plopping next to me.
“Hey,” I responded softly. It was weird, Minho and I were constantly around each other this week, yet we haven’t fought once. He handed me a coffee and I sipped it thankfully. “Thanks.” I mumbled.
“So, your deal... it was being a bodyguard for me.” He started. I looked at him in the eyes and saw there was no fight in them. I nodded.
“Yup, assigned by your father.” He nodded and took a sip of his coffee as well.
“Thank you.” I tilted my head in confusion.
“Thanks for what?” He shrugged and fiddled with his red straw.
“For being willing to take a bullet for me.” I scoffed at his words as he furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. “What?” he barked. I shook my head.
“Minho, that’s my job. To protect people from harm, I would’ve gotten shot for anybody I was protecting.” It’s true. Bodyguards get killed rarely, but it does happen. And it’s not pretty.
“Well, still, it sort of makes me feel good.” I snorted at his remark. “It’s hard being mean to someone when they almost died. Kind of sad.” He jut his lower lip out which made me smile.
“Well, don’t be nice to me, that’s just weird.”
“Agent y/n? Can we ask you a few more questions? This is for the trial.” I nodded at the young lady who called me to the room.
“Have fun,” He joked. I rolled my eyes; we both knew that these interviews were more than a few questions and were incredibly boring.
I waved him off and sauntered into the room, but I heard my name being called.
“Wait, y/n,” I paused in my tracks and turned to look at the boy. He had a nervous look on his face which made me confused.
“What?”
“Um, so, do you maybe wanna...get coffee sometime?” He looked down at the ground, as shy as can be, which made me chuckle.
“I hate coffee, I only drink it when I’m insanely tired. Let’s go out for bbq instead.”
“Deal.”

Showed in Your Eyes
Summary: In the heat of the moment you find yourself forgetting your surroundings only knowing what is in front of you.
Minho X Jisung
Oneshot
This is for my Secret Santa job for Stray Kids Secret Santa Exchange @lee-knows-it I hope you enjoy this I tried to make it to your liking and all (I also wish you happier days, and warm hugs and smiles) @skzsecretsanta thanks for making this possible :)
Gang Au (Knocking out someone(s), kidnapping, selling drugs, hacking, I guess I did mention stabbing, but no deaths!)
You better believe this gang is strong, mostly because of their tight family bonds, these nine are inseparable and would go great lengths to protect each other their much more like a mafia because of their strong family bond
But they are more just nine kids that didn’t have support from their families, found each other and started relying on each other to make income
Chan is the leader of stray kids, no surprise there because he's quite smart, although he got into dealing drugs… he has a 4.0 GPA in college rn which is impressive, and actually tutors a few people he sells drugs to. He makes alliances with other gangs so if there is ever a time they go belly up he knows got7 will have their back and so will twice
Jeongin the youngest and helps makes the drugs alongside Seungmin, and packages it and sends it to Hyunjin who makes the deals
Seungmin he makes drugs alongside Jeongin and he likes to do chemistry so when he by accidentally found out how to make drugs, he was selling them and that lead to some trouble until he made friends with Woojin and he enlisted him into the gang
Hyunjin makes deals, but not only because he's handsome, its because the kid has a way with words, acts like he's giving them deals, by telling them a higher price than they are charging for, if they're not going for the price he starts off with, he'll tell them “You know you're cute, say what, I'll give you 50 percent off” they fall for it everytime
Woojin and Chan met by chance, Chan switched his course in bio, and Woojin needed a partner, and they were talking and found out they both could use each other
Woojin can make friends with ease and makes sure he can trust them before he draws them in to the gang
Changbin knew Jisung since high school and they both joined at the same time
They both do the same thing of dealing out drugs, although Changbin can be more aggressive if the person starts haggling Hyunjin for a lower price
Jisung may look soft and squishy but he puts up a fight like no other, they always think they can steal from Jisung because of his looks, they have another thing going
Hyunjin is so glad to have them behind him when he is making deals
Minho is a fighter, if the group ever gets into any trouble he is the one who is ready to beat up anyone who hurts his family, he also the interrogator of the group, much more of the bad cop
Also forgot to mention that Chan is the good cop interrogator if someone messes with them and comes into their borders without a reasonable reason
Felix was the last one to get into the gang he is a skilled hacker, he was on the run from Australia the govt caught him hacking in, Woojin found out and asked him if he wanted to join and they would never snitch on him, and Felix agreed and is the hacker for group and if anyone ever gets kidnapped or anything he is first to know and already laying out the blueprints to get them out
If we’re going in order how it works, Woojin recruit the members in the gang, Chan makes alliances with other gangs and sets up the meeting to sell the drugs, Jeongin and Seungmin are the drug makers, once the drug is made, it is handed over to Hyunjin, Hyunjin goes to the meeting place with Changbin and Jisung ready to jump in, if all fails and they get kidnapped, Felix is on it in a second, hacking into the cameras finding out where they were taken, once he finds out, Minho is on it in second, and without fail bails them out
Jisung and Hyunjin went together on a drug sale, Changbin was sick but trusted the two could take it in just like the rest of the gang thought they could
It turns out that the guy they were dealing with was aggressive, didn't like haggling, and started taking out on the two Jisung started fighting with him told Hyunjin to run and tell the others, thinking he had it
Before Hyunjin even made it off the side street, Jisung was snatched off the street and kidnapped
The minute Minho heard the news, his heart broke and he was blistering with anger
He started demanding Felix to work faster, he watched through the camera as Jisung was picked up and thrown into the back, he couldn't hear what was going on but he was kicking the man, but it was clear there were others
Minho turned away not being able to bare watching the scene unfold
He wouldn't lie if you asked him if he had feelings for Jisung he flat out tell you he did
He's just to shy to tell it to Jisung so he just babies him with cuddles and always worries about him, he would love to admit it but he worries about Jisung just liking him as a friend
And seeing that Jisung just got kidnapped his heart is completely crushed
“I found it just let me hack into the system and get your blueprints” A deep voice calls out, pulling Minho out of his thoughts
Not another minute goes before Felix prints it out, he gets up, “Go get your man” Minho's blush covers his face, he puts in his bluetooth and slams the car into drive down seven blocks parking across the street
Felix telling him to “go left and there should be an open window there” he hops up in
“Two guards coming up fast,... you're clear now, go down two doors on the right” Minho rushing being careful not to make a sound he sighs as he opens and shuts the door
“Secret bookshelf it should be the fifth green book on the 3rd shelf that opens it” he scans over the books, pulling at the grin book and nothing happens
“I don't think-” as the bookshelf starts spinning, “Late reaction I guess… anyway, you should be seeing three doors, pick the very first one and in there is Jisung but be warned he isn't alone!!”
Minho pulls up his black bandana, and opens the door, meeting a dark, wet, cement, he carefully steps in and slips into the corner
It must be a boiler room, and he looks and sees a shadow he quickly takes a stab at the person and they let out a grunt, “What's wrong, Lucas?” he hears a voice call out, he muffles his hand over Lucas mouth and quickly rids the man of any weapons while Lucas tries to fight back, to no avail, Minho knocks him out slamming his head enough against the cement to knock him out
“Lucas can't you see I'm in the middle of something!!!” a man screams out, stomping angrily towards them pulling a gun out at Minho, “What did you do to him?” “What did you do to Jisung?”
“Oh so this what this about… well I'm Taeyong, you're pretty good at sneaking past people aren't you?” Minho visibly gulps, “Well, let's make a trade you help Lucas up and bandage him. I'll see over it Jisung will stay here and I will give him back”
“You must care about your members a lot” “More than you would ever guess”
They take Lucas into another room and bandage him up and Lucas moans out in pain and rolls over but refuses to get up, “Now take me to Jisung and let me leave”
“Oh I'll take you to Jisung alright” and a gun is placed in the small of Minho's back taking Minho's arms and twisting them behind his back with one hand holding the gun in place and pushing him into the other room
Minho growls and loosens up, before he takes Taeyong on by surprise and throws him over him, in a quick burst he wrangles the gun out of Taeyong's hand, finally, seeing Jisung in front of him
He sighs in relief as he looks at Jisung, but before he could do anything to try to save Jisung he feels Taeyong move and start kicking at him, in one fail swoop he bashes his head on the ground to knock him out long enough to save Jisung and get out of there
He tips off the bandana on Jisung’s face seeing tears streaming down his face he looks up and sees Minho, his eyes widening as he softly gasps. Minho pulls his bandana down
He squats down to his level before cutting off the ropes surrounding Jisung's wrists
Jisung wraps his arms Minho, he laughs in relief, “I'm so glad it's you that came for me” Minho nods as he cuts the ropes from around his ankles
Before he can lift him over his shoulder and listen to what Felix is telling him, Jisung whispers, “I know it's a bad time to say this,... but you have the most beautiful eyes I've ever had chance to catch a glimpse of…” Minho feels his heart speed up, he seeing his chance, he takes his chin into his hand and kisses Jisung
He feels Jisung kiss back, he realizes where he is, “We can continue this later” he throws him over his shoulder, “Okay Felix tell me where it's clear"
Felix guides him through with ease, he rushes out the car and speeds off, his hand finding Jisung's as he makes it back to Woojin's house. He parks in the lot and Jisung thanks him over and over again, “So where were we” Jisung laughs, kissing Minho's cheek, “Take me on a date first” Minho rolls his eyes, “Anything for you my dear”
It turned out Jisung liked Minho more than just friends, and would make a strong relationship making the gang stronger and better than ever
Then one day they got caught the police held mercy on the nine, and cleared their records, told them to become big, and to never get into trouble or they would be in sling
They listened and sometimes life just works out that way, and if you're wondering they did make it big, becoming Stray Kids the kpop group no longer a gang, and they never got in trouble ever again
Minho and Jisung being the biggest gay kpop in the industry, support coming not just from each other but the fans as well
Nerves from stage fright will never beat gun fights, but they could easily get used to it
After all with the family altogether, nothing could come in their way, a strong bond they hold and will continue to hold for a very long time
They became sensations from speaking out about their struggles to being wise and knowledgeable about the world around them
Taking part in whatever they could to make the world a better place and possibly their smiles could make a difference in their fan’s days
They truly could and can like no one else, being so supportive or everyone they come across and it comes back to them just as equally or more so
(Sorry if it ended weird I was watching the new Cinderella and it made me go third point of view I'd fix it but I seems to me like the perfect end. I hope you enjoyed it and I wanted to get it out sooner but… I hope you had an amazing holiday, and a wonderful new year, for many more to come :)
