My latin professor: This is the kind of thing an editor should have caught.
Classmate: Well, Wheelock is dead.
Professor: But Richard LeFleur is not. He is actually alive and LeFlourishing.

2 Madmen Killed 2 Families -- Mass Murders in the Wild West
2 Madmen Killed 2 Families — Mass Murders in the Wild West
Haunted Spooky Wheelock
If you have a heightened sense of paranormal activity, you may be rewarded by exploring the haunted Ray/Wheelock region. There’s something about an area of the wild west that can claim two mass murders of families in one area, a jilted lover murder, and a robbery-murder.
A deranged madman killing innocent people, even infants, tends to make spooky stories.

I was at work yesterday trying to stay sane and remember that my job is a means to an end and nothing more so I was thinking about translating Shakespeare’s 130th into Latin and I realized that I don’t know any color words. Isn’t that funny? I can threaten to kill someone five different ways but after 2 yrs I don’t know a single color word.

sorry i think the thing that makes me bitter about having to read the aeneid is that it’s the first work of actual literature in latin we read and it’s THAT… it’s SO complicated like we couldn’t read caesar or cicero or something before tackling poetry… it would’ve been kind of an intro at least?
