sorry folks just have to RANT here for a moment about Virgin River!? They are breaking up Bree and Brady so that Bree can be with Mike and Brady can be with the lady from the camp and Denny & Lizzy are fighting and they are putting MURIEL with CAMERON!?!?!?? Of all people! And this wildfire is about to burn the WHOLE town down. And they TOOOK MEL’s BABY!!??!?!??!!!???? I am feeling so many things right now.

"I feel like I've been pregnant for years." Charmaine says.

This is so funny because yeah... at the end of season 1, Charmaine was revealed to be pregnant that aired in December 2019 and it's been like, almost four years.

Not as long as Bonnie from Family Guy. (10 years according to the Internet)

I’m sorry the virgin river s4 ending is unacceptable you’re telling me I’ve spent three seasons tolerating charmaine for absolutely no reason like she could have just fucked off at literally any point?? That girl Needs Help™️ like who tf keeps a lie like that up for MONTHS even after it failed to make jack stay with her??? Like acting all high and mighty “Mel stole my boyfriend” bitch you baby trapped him, I mean Gaslight Gatekeep Girlboss baby but at a certain point what was even the point of lying anymore?? So confused, the writers are confused, but most of all my man Jack is CONFUSED like is he a father of three or zero? This family tree looks like it’s been mangled by a chainsaw

Did I watch 12 episodes of Virgin River in basically 24 hours? Why yes, yes I did. This season trumps last season without any thought at all.  Spoilers under the cut

- The Baby is Jack’s! I was so relieved. I really didn’t want to go down the route of having a law case with crazy ex mother in law.  - Paige coming back was a bit of a shock - but it kinda seems like that Vince storyline might be done? (Please be done) - Ricky leaving was so sad! Him and Lizzie are definitely meant to be. - Denny was a weird character. I kind of went from liking him to not liking him and switching between at regular intervals. - Cameron! What an idiot. Look, have your opinion on Jack (because he was a dick in this season) but leaving because you disagree on someone elses partner? And then Mel leaving the practice because of it? Craziness! - Brady and Brie are adorable! I love their relationship. That creep wanting her to sign a Disclosure agreement. Here’s hoping Brady has a lid on that rage 😑 - I KNEW IT. (I also expect everybody knew it. Worst secret ever kept) Those btwins not being Jack’s finally being confirmed. Charmaine must be the most hated character ever I swear. - I can’t believe Charmaine was only 5 months pregnant and Mel was only 8 weeks?! Such a short amount of time for so much to happen! Wondering if they’ll time jump for next season. Seems like they could pretty easily. Then again, they might just make Mel pregnant for another season. - Mel kept hugging her ‘baby bump’ so many times this season. Hahaha. Probably unintentional, but wow. Nobody really suspected a thing. - Let’s not discuss creepy grandma lady. Wiped Calvin off the earth like nothing.  Scream about Virgin River with me 😁

i would not have thought this at the beginning of season 4 but i am 100% team mel should leave jack and be with cameron. no idea if that’s where the show is headed but i want it!!!

Virgin River season 4 (spoilers)

This is mostly about Brady and Brie but I love them!!

First off, I think this is a great season! I mean, I understand the people saying it was dragged out and many storylines and being rushed but still I binged it and I already can’t wait for season 5 lol

I think they did focus a lot on Jack’s mental state but that’s super important and they showed genuine couple conversations between him and Mel. They’re relationship is amazing and I”m happy the last episode ended like it did with them being engaged and the results, and even the “cliffhanger”. It wil be hard for Jack but that way he can start a family with Mel like a clean slate sorta thing? I mean obviously it’s for the best.

Ricky and Lizzy cute, I hope they’ll be back together next season. Denni is shady as hell, I do believe him about the money and his disease but iI just don’t like him.

And now for my favorite couple (sorry Mel and Jack) - Brady and Brie. I’m IN LOVE with them.

They’re so cute and perfect together!!! I mean helllooooo do you see them? They’re gorgeous!! They are stronger than ever, their characters developed so much and I enjoy seeing them being the cute and perfect couple they are. Their “I love yous” to one another are so sweet and tender, him surprising her at the wedding, making her breakfast, Brie trusting him with her trauma which is so good to see (in the end she even said it out loud), and he actually had tears in his eyes!! when he told her about writing it down and also when he spoke to Mel because he wanted to do right by her. He is so sweet and caring and he loves her so much and that’s why they are my favorite couple.  

Also, sad to see he only thinks Brie is here for a short-term and doesn’t ‘believe’ Brie is invested, I wanted her to do something to show him how much she loves him (even though it is clear) and make him see their future together. (She told Mel at the wedding one day she’ll be surprising them ahhhhhhh). 

My only scare is that Brady is not telling Brie and Mike about the shady lady and he’s going to be involved in trouble again because he wants to protect Brie.

Gotta work 8 am-6 pm today so I couldn’t binge watch at midnight like I usually do. However I did sneak a peek at the season finale last night and I’m so happy for Mel/Jack! Those two deserve the world! All the angst and now our babies are engaged with a daughter on the way that is confirmed Jack’s baby. 💜💜💜

As for the final scene in S4….well…..I FUCKIN KNEWWWW IT!!!! I knew that bitch was lying about the twins!! Harsh, I know, but lord do I detest Charmaine. I mean we all pretty much have been calling it since Charmaine said she was pregnant. Especially since the woman has been pregnant since god damn season 1. Hopefully Mel’s pregnancy doesn’t last 3 seasons. For the love of God. I haven’t seen the rest of the season so I don’t know what else is going on though I did spy Paige when fast forwarding to the end of the season finale. So, heeey, girl! Good to see you again. Happy watching everyone! I’ll be picking it back up after work tonight.

I have to say, the new season isn't really in the mood for a supercorp take because most of the drama is about a pregnancy between the lead romance, which I'm not really into for Lena and Kara.

That said, they are doing an excellent job with both a) demonstrating the idea of open and honest conversation between characters, and b) depicting the effects of a traumatic brain injury.

I kind of which they had explored that kind of recovery when the lead was shot in an earlier season.

Mel and Joey's mom was having an affair with someone in Virgin River and that person might be Mel's biodad.

Joey and Mel didn't even have to do a 23 and Me test for their life to blow up lol. She just found old love letters.

I'm just going to say it.

Why doesn't Lizzie look pregnant in the Christmas episodes?

Let’s do some Math.

In episode 5x10, titled oh-so-helpfully “Labor Day”, it’s – you guessed it! – Labor Day. In an American fictional town, so it’s September 1st. Lizzie says she thinks she’s pregnant, so she must have missed her period for… a week or 2. Meaning she is already, in that episode, 5-6 weeks pregnant.

Cut to the Christmas episodes. Lizzie should be around 22 weeks pregnant. That’s about five months’ along! The count tracks, if one takes into account Doc’s remark that his great-grandbaby will be born in Spring.

So… How come dear Lizzie doesn’t have even the merest hint of a baby bump?

For a show with so many pregnancies, I expected better of Virgin River.

Oh well.

Im abt to be even more insufferable abt Virgin River bc the more I think about it the more annoyed I am!!!

Especially after seeing the trailer for the nov 30th ep drops. Istg if Im right abt lizzie being pregnant and widowed!!!!

I'm going to be so sad with this season of Virgin River for Hope, aren't I?
