There was so much more than what I expected after watching the movie a million times. Everything about this book was so so good!!

I love how they feel for each other and how they fall in love with each other and I love the little nuances between them and it is simply a must-read. Especially if you loved the movie.

Can't wait for the other books to be translated!!!!

the ending! she couldn’t have realized she loved him in court the day before?? I know it’s more dramatic the other way but I was upset he went to jail still😭

HOMIE WHEN I TELL YOU I WAS PISSED

There were a few things that could’ve been done to avoid jail.

1) Why tell Johnno about the deal. Could’ve just told him he was getting paid well in the marines and left it at that. But then there would be no one to push the stakes high for them and therefore no movie so….

2) He didn’t have to attack Johnno. I get it, I would’ve wanted to do the same had I been in his position but people like that are only incensed when you one up them. He should’ve played the game. Just paid the guy what he owed and he probably would’ve left him alone, just happy that he got his money back. Now if he didn’t leave him alone after paying him off, different story.

3) Even if she wasn’t aware of her feelings or wasn’t ready to confess, SHE COULD’VE LIED DAMNIT She has had no problem lying so far, she could’ve come up with some plausible reason their families didn’t know, something to counteract the “evidence” Johnno gave. (Seriously what evidence did he have, he didn’t record Luke saying anything, and he could’ve just been talking out of his ass if he had recordings of himself saying it and nothing of Luke admitting it. Cause he wouldn’t be talking about the money cause that would’ve incriminated himself.).

But yeah. Her just letting him go to jail was crap cause if I was in that position, I would’ve lied out the wazoo. Even if I didn’t like him I would’ve had his back cause we were in the shit together. She just sat there like he didn’t help her out by marrying her, like it wasn’t her idea in the first place. Still loved it though. 🥹

Virgin River season 4 (spoilers)

This is mostly about Brady and Brie but I love them!!

First off, I think this is a great season! I mean, I understand the people saying it was dragged out and many storylines and being rushed but still I binged it and I already can’t wait for season 5 lol

I think they did focus a lot on Jack’s mental state but that’s super important and they showed genuine couple conversations between him and Mel. They’re relationship is amazing and I”m happy the last episode ended like it did with them being engaged and the results, and even the “cliffhanger”. It wil be hard for Jack but that way he can start a family with Mel like a clean slate sorta thing? I mean obviously it’s for the best.

Ricky and Lizzy cute, I hope they’ll be back together next season. Denni is shady as hell, I do believe him about the money and his disease but iI just don’t like him.

And now for my favorite couple (sorry Mel and Jack) - Brady and Brie. I’m IN LOVE with them.

They’re so cute and perfect together!!! I mean helllooooo do you see them? They’re gorgeous!! They are stronger than ever, their characters developed so much and I enjoy seeing them being the cute and perfect couple they are. Their “I love yous” to one another are so sweet and tender, him surprising her at the wedding, making her breakfast, Brie trusting him with her trauma which is so good to see (in the end she even said it out loud), and he actually had tears in his eyes!! when he told her about writing it down and also when he spoke to Mel because he wanted to do right by her. He is so sweet and caring and he loves her so much and that’s why they are my favorite couple.  

Also, sad to see he only thinks Brie is here for a short-term and doesn’t ‘believe’ Brie is invested, I wanted her to do something to show him how much she loves him (even though it is clear) and make him see their future together. (She told Mel at the wedding one day she’ll be surprising them ahhhhhhh). 

My only scare is that Brady is not telling Brie and Mike about the shady lady and he’s going to be involved in trouble again because he wants to protect Brie. 

Lol I haven't watched season 5 (started and it was kinda meh so didn't watch after episode 4) but seeing all the spoilers for 5×17 and bughead rising again makes me want to binge it all
