Wooden kazipok, the Levian small creature!

My first wooden sculpture. I'm so proud of it! It was easier than expected, but needed a lot of time and work (something about a week, and the legs needed the most time). I really enjoyed the carving though, and I really, really didn't expected such a nice first result.

The carving needs your attention, but not too much. Such things as drawing, sculpting take all my attention: I can't think about anything but the process itself, so I get tired quickly even if truly enjoy. While carving I can think about anything else, but the work doesn't let thoughts to run too far.

But! The kazipok got his cutest look thanks to @villiedoom ! (Also he did photos of the final sculpture in the post). I felt so happy when took the painted sculpture in my hands.

I've been working on a dragon character for quite some time, and she's finally getting some proper reference! I could have stopped with the 2D reference, but I was really inspired by @villiedoom to make a high quality 3D model. This is the completed sculpture of her body (the wing membranes, horns, and claws are temporary) which I need to retopologize. At this point, basic retopology is no sweat but I'm not entirely sure how to preserve her muscular detail while prioritizing good deformation. She'll be getting a coat of fur so I'm not sure how much it matters anyway, but this was a good anatomy study! More process (including skeletal and muscular diagrams) below the cut!

Two wandering Moonhorses in their natural habitat - the Narr-Vaan Desert ~

They are probably the most unrealistic of all my creatures, but I love these skeletal guys - they are so surreal! Through drawing or sculpting them in all the detail is such a headache… It took some courage (and sleepless nights…) to finally finish this sculpt.

“Goliath” (temporary name until I come up with a new one) - a fantasy creature resembling a mix of a vaeraf (my main original species), a hyena and a bear. I saw them in a dream about two years ago and decided to make them part of my world (most of my beings and stories come from my dreams in one way or another), and also I made a base model. In the past, I already had ideas about hyena-like creatures and I still like this idea!

They are large (about like bears), have a long neck with a mane, short tail and long legs with huge paws.

3D model of Arfaen (my and @verbrannt47's personal character) in his old feline form, which I decided to bring back into my art ~

It was quite a challenge for me to create this model, I've struggled a lot with drawing Arfaen and his features in the past, so it was interesting to see if I can finally sculpt his shapes correctly.

Overall I'm happy with how this model turned out!
