specifically what i need are weird fiction recs (literally the sub/genre "weird," to the tune of jeff vandermeer and china mieville and victor lavalle and cassandra khaw), except i need them, one, not by cishet men, and two, not by white men.

bonus points for YA recs that match this (WHAT BIG TEETH by rose szabo isn't quite what i was hoping for, but it might be closer?), and jackpot bonus points if it's got a similar flavor to WELCOME TO NIGHTVALE. body horror elements are a plus also.
