Just Sigyn wearing those robes from that one depiction of her! Plus the twins because they're precious and I love them. I really like the thought of Sigyn having a veil at some point, she looks so elegant and pretty~

Loki and his children

I've been wanting to do a painting of Loki's children for a while now. I finally got it done today. I was inspired by a cute little chibi princess that I thought would make a cute little Hel. It grew from there. I had a bit of a tough time trying to draw and eight legged horse, but I think I got it. This piece is now proudly displayed on my Loki altar.

Loki Laufeydottir who is polyamorous and nonbinary genderfluid pansexual/two spirit in her female Jotunn form of a female Jotunn mage and fighter watched helpless as his/her/their Indigenous Jotunn and Indigenous Jotunn Goliath lovers and consorts Skarja, Gerja, Ardra, Rehildr, & Minhildr fell in combat to the hordes of settler colonizer Aesir and Aesir Valkyries. This was the second Aesir vs Jotunn War. Who caused this war to happen? Was it once again Aesir sovereign King Lord Odin of the Kingdom Asgard? Did he come back from his forced exile to enact vengence on Laufey and Farbauti. When they defeated him and ended his machinations as Emperor Lord Odin of the Aesir Empire. When he waged the first Aesir vs Jotunn War and later Aesir vs Vanir War to defeat the Indigenous Jotunn and Vanir. He waged both wars to conquer the Ten Realms of Yggdrasil under his colonialism, imperialism, neocolonialism, & occupation. But he was stopped with the combined might of the Vanir and Jotunn and their allies the elves and the dwarves. Did Odin return and now wanting to get his revenge on Laufey and Farbauti but this time with their two spirit Indigenous Jotunn child Loki or Elgni? Loki was trying to end the war with his/her/their friends and allies who are his/her/their sworn siblings who are ironically the child of Odin and Frigga the Odinson siblings Tyr, Vali, Ullr, Baldr, & Thor. The Odinson siblings rebelled and fought on the side of the Vanir and Jotunn when they learned of the Aesir’s plan to once again conquer the Ten Realms. Loki or Elgni Laufeydottir was with her with children with one of her wives the Indigenous Jotnar Goliath Paramount Chieftain and Paramount Warchief Lady Angrboda of the Indigenous Jotunn Goliaths of Utgard. Loki she was with her son Jotnar Sleipnir Lokison (who can shapeshift into a 6 or 8 legged horse) who was in his Jotnar form. She was with her son Jotnar Fenrir Lokison (who can shapeshift into a giant wolf) who was in his Jotnar Goliath form. She was with her son Jotnar Jormungand Lokison (who can shapeshift into a giant serpent) who was in his Jotnar Goliath form. She was with her cursed half dead and half living daughter Hela Lokidottir. She and her children were riding griffins or hippogriffs as they all rushed to catch his/her/their lovers. Loki Laufeydottir she caught one of them and pressed her hand to her mortal wound. She said to her lover Skarja, “Stay with me okay.” “I need a healer now!” Loki said to her daughter Hela Lokidottir, “Hela get my second wife Sigyn!” “She is the most talented I know in the art of healing magic!” “We all love you,” her lover Ardra said as she spits out blood as she clutches her mortal wound as she let go of her battle axe.  Her lover Gerja said, “Please know Loki that I love you.” Her lover Rehildr said, “We all want to stay with you Loki.” “No stay with me!” Her lover Minhildr said, “But we can’t” Loki cried as he/they said, “No don’t go...” Skarja said, “The Spirit World of our people it calls us and we must answer.” Loki in their two spirit form screamed with tears in their eyes, “No!” Loki in his male form said as tears continued to fall out of his red eyes onto his blue Jotunn skin, “No please, don’t leave me...” Ardra said, “We will await there for you our love,” she said as she and the rest of them died in her arms. “No!” Loki froze their bodies on a funeral pyre as per Jotunn burial rights. They were more fans of his/her/their horned helmet then she was. “You all loved this infernal bullion horned diadem more than I ever did,” she smiled with tears in her eyes. Loki took off her yellow horned diadem helmet and smashed to pieces it with her sworn brother Thor Odinson’s two handed sledgehammer Mjolnir that was a two handed sledgehammer that had a long handle. It was not the iconic warhammer with small handle since Loki never shrunk it out of spite. This sledgehammer was forged by the Dwarf Chieftain Brok, Gnome Chieftain Eitri, & Dwarf Chieftain Sindri of the Gnome and Dwarven Kingdom of Nidavellir on the command of Loki. She roared with tears in her eyes as thunder, fire, ice, magma, storm, frost, wind, snow, lava, & lightning roared around her. She commanded the power of storm held within the sledge hammer of her youngest sworn brother Thor Odinson the god of storm who had power over the elements of thunder, wind, & lightning. She was also controlling her own power as the Aesir or Asgardian genderfluid god/goddess of fire who had power over the elements of fire, magma, & lava and the Jötnar or Jotunn two spirit deity of frost who had power over the elements of ice, snow, water, & frost). As a godling he/she/they were the Aesir godling of autumn and the Jotunn godling of winter. She broke the horned diadem helmet into many pieces one piece of the helmet to bury for each one of his/her/their Jotunn bodyguard lovers in a solo poly relationship. She then took her many throwing knives and buried one each with her lovers. Loki then took her long black hair in her Jotunn form and cut it with her spear. Loki dropped to her knees and let out a scream of sorrow and full of anguish as she cried until her eyes were bloodshot red. She then took out an ivory winged helmet of a Valkyrie and a red cloak of dragon hide leather. These were gifts from Skarja, Rehildr, Minhildr, Ardra, & Gerja. It was a present given to her when she completed Aesir Valkyrie training to win the hearts of his/her/their Aesir and Vanir consorts Aesir Sif, Vanir Bryhildr, & Vanir Freya. With tears in her eyes Loki put on the helmet made of Asgardian Aesir steel that was the color of Vanir silver. Lady Loki said, “Lo, there do I see my mom (changing it from father since he/she/they were the child of two queer female Jotnar).” “Lo, there do I see my mother, and my sisters, and my brothers (Helbindi and Byleistr).” “Lo, there do I see the line of my people, back to the beginning!” “Lo, they do call to me.” “They bid me take my place among them, in the halls of Valhalla, where the brave may live forever!” “And I Loki Laufeydottir will answer that call!” She got up and let out a booming battle cry as she unsheathed her magical long swords crafted by Brok, Eitri, & Sindri and summoned the alicorn and she flew to fight the Aesir and Aesir Valkyries.

I couldn’t name 10 pieces for you, let alone tell you which represent my characters best. So I’m bending the rules so that I still get to play the game. Sigyn has been fighting her whole life for a piece of glory, for what she’s earned. This song is the journey of someone who’s no longer content to be kept down. Every time I listen to this song, I’m reminded of the moment I Sigyn decides that she won’t sit back and wait any longer.

Instead, I took this dive under his skin, to the things he doesn’t allow to come to the surface. To the lonely life of the court jester.

Váli’s board is a bit sparse. I have a hard time finding his beautiful stubbled face with his scraggly hair tied back all in one picture. And as for the song, it’s as if it was written just for him. Though he can’t see it, he dedicates himself to the preservation of something that keeps him from being happy. 

Narvi Lokison

Narvi looks a lot like his father, but his demeanour couldn’t be more different. Which is why I have trouble finding music for him. He’s like a dandelion in the sunny summer breeze and my music is decidedly not. This interlude track is very specific to the direction of Narvi’s story and always fills me with particular forboding feelings when I hear it.

My version of Váli has a turbulent and strained relationship with his father Loki for numerous reasons and so refuses to emulate or have much to do with him. He mostly tries to differentiate himself from the latter by dressing differently and not tapping into his Jötunn magic etc.
