Nudibranchs are a group of shell-less marine molluscs. They are also known as sea slugs. Nudibranchs are hermaphrodites, meaning that they have both male and female reproductive organs. However, they cannot self-fertilize. Instead, they must mate with another nudibranch.

For Squiddly Diddly, you can't help but picture
what explains his having such a fascination as
explains his fascination for underwater photography,
to begin with.
One which is manifested in a desire to as much
keep active post-Bubbleland while concurrently
maintaining a fondness for the underwater world and
the fascination inherent.
Not to mention putting such fascination and
distilling it into a limited-run annual compendium of
underwater photography, stories and whimsy intended
mainly for close Funtastics, and more.
But when it comes to underwater photography per se,
Squiddly manages to enjoy a freedom Bubbleland
somehow prevented him from manifesting in large scale,
and more.
He's not quite the sort for "cheesecake" shots (unless asked),
preferring instead to let Nature pose as it likes to pose
with a rare (and rebuilt) first-generation Nikonos underwater camera
as still does the job rather well.
Not to mention having contacts with "a small circle of friends"
as are, too, into underwater photography with like passion
as Squiddly; no wonder his annuals get to have such following
among such so entitled.
So, Squiddly, just keep filming away, keep shooting away.
The way you handle underwater photography as you do
can't help but unwittingly be an inspiration and influence.
Meanwhile ... have you any Hanna-Barbera-inspired poesy that you wish sharing here Sundays?

Chromodoris is a genus of nudibranchs renowned for their kaleidoscopic colors and eye-catching patterns. Among the many species of this genus, some boast golden rhinophores, further enhancing their striking appearance. These sensory organs located on the nudibranch’s head are used to detect chemical cues in the water.
This image was captured off the coast of Puerto Galera in the Philippines.
