Woah That's A Cool Job, Bro

Sans: "huh," he starts out, and doesn't really elaborate much on it. You can hear him chuckle as he watches you try to figure out just what he meant by that. And as much as he would like to admire the way your face looks as you think, he knows this is a serious topic. He takes your hand, touch as gentle as the wind itself before pulling you just a little closer to him.

What? Can't a guy have a nice cuddle whilst talking about his relationship?

It's easy for him to disarm you, to have you relax because he really doesn't want you to feel like you're walking on eggshells around him. He looks calm as ever as you explain but you know better, from the way his touches linger on you and how his eyelights never stray from you. When it's his turn to speak, Sans isn't really much for words, but he makes it known that he's always rooting for you. Once he's in love, he's all in, and he will always show that, one way or another.

Papyrus: Not offended in the least bit. If anything, he would have a deep fascination with your job and how you work. He's into it, the flair, the dramatics, the legs! He thinks it's Very Cool™. Papyrus isn't one to really judge people by their personality, especially when he's had experience of people doing the same to him. Sure, he'd be surprised but it's more so good surprise because... He wants to know more about you, after all.

He'd also be surprised when you express your fear to him, understanding that the way humans and monsters view certain things differently is very much at play here. Papyrus also doesn't care how long you've been together, if it's something you wanna do, he's ready to support you and you will never experience any judgement from him. (Your workouts are gonna be super fun btw, he had Plans™)

Blue: After you tell him, he kinda just... Goes quiet for a bit. It worries you, rightfully so as you find it hard to properly discern his expression. But he moves a step closer to you and holds your hands, first assuring you that you never have to be afraid to tell him anything. Blue would want to make it known as soon as possible that he will be by you no matter what, your safe space, your pillow to fall on.

But he also assures you that he trusts you, anything you want to do is for you to choose but he will support it so long as you're safe and happy. That's all that really matters to him in the end since, well, it's one of the reasons he fell for you anyway, the fact that it's you. (Also would probably point out the pretty outfits you have and if you'd model for him-)

Stretch: Definitely do not tell him while he's eating or drinking because he will choke. He would then panic and say he didn't choke because he was angry or anything like that, he was just... Very surprised. And he is! He just gets extremely flustered at the idea of you doing literally anything (boy is whipped I tell ya). It takes him a while to completely articulate his thoughts because he wants to tell you that's so cool but also wants to tell it's okay and that you're so awesome and-

There's a lot going through his mind, and you're sat there in dumbfounded silence as you watch the orange hue begin to cover his entire skull. But! He does eventually gather his thoughts and tells you that.. Hey, he thinks you're an amazing person and he's loved you far too long for anything like that to get in the way. He trusts you, and he hopes you trust him as much.

Red: "that's hot-" and he stops upon seeing your face and chuckles. He holds his hands up in defense before moving a little closer once you're a little more relaxed. He starts small, holding your hand before explaining what the culture is like from where he is. He's not the best with words, but Red does succeed in getting his message across, that being:

It is your life, you have the right to decide what you wanna do and what you don't wanna do. But whatever it is you choose to do, he's got your back, no matter how "out there" it is or whatever. You want it? You got it and Red will absolutely make sure that you can depend on him for supporting you. (still will tell you it's hot af tho)

Edge: You think he's judging you but really that's just his resting face. He's a little surprised by the fact that you're so... Unsure of telling him. He voices this concern, because to him, these kinds of things were rather normal in the underground. Whatever it was, as long as it was a means to survive. He takes this a little too seriously, not that it is a bad thing, but it can be rather daunting when he's staring you down as you're both seated on your couch.

And the whole thing kinda... Makes you laugh a little.

Perhaps from how nervous you are, from how overly invested Edge is, but.. it's.. Touching. He's rightfully confused, and huffs when he finds out why, feeling a little shy.(but you would never catch him admitting that lmao). The dramatics only last for a while before you gather your thoughts and explain and Edge is.. Very gentle about it. It's one of those moments that make you understand just why you fell for him, how he makes sure that you understand that he would never, ever judge you for that. He respects you, and he will respect the choices you make as long as you're okay.

Weird posts but sans using “oira” personal pronoun fits extremely in with his character, he doesn’t really see himself as some big name or even that “strong”

He’s just a little guy making and cracking jokes and even in English all his dialogue, outside the no mercy route, is him playing up a persona while he’s trying to gauge you, in a very “ehhh man” style of speech patterns. He both plays a fool and it’s somewhat he sees himself as even tho there’s a lot more to him

So of course he’d use a pronoun that has connotations of being a “bumpkin” or a country old man

Headcannons for my Dynasty AU <3

CHARACTERS

- Classic/Sans Juniver is the Emperor of Sonata Empire, the main difference between his empire and other empires is that there's only ONE ruler who's allowed to do as they please.

- (Original)Papyrus Juniver gave up his position as an imperial prince, and decided to serve his brother secretly, conducting the emperor's order behind the scenes. He is the glue to the "Pickup Crew" and the one to keep them in check. Oh, and he has two kids.

- Ink Hop and Error Rou are the lead candidates of The Grey Kingdom who serves under Sonata Empire. Each having their own political party who has many admires and supporters. In terms of power, both are equal.

- Onto Dream Orchid and Moon Orchid(Passive Nightmare). Dream half assed his support for Ink, only placing his vote on the artist because Moon call dibs on Error. Meanwhile, Moon wholeheartedly supports Error, going as far to do errands for the glitch.

- Swap Valentine is the tired babysitter escort of Dream, really considering to retire early from how much trouble Dream caused him. He is not payed enough to deal with his young master's way of making friends, or deal with Dream's best friends in general.

- Orange Valentine, Swap's brother is having a blast with Moon. Even though both have diffrent social status, they love chaos, even bask in the fire of what their actions create.

No wonder the ut fandom thought during the first few years of its existence that Papyrus was dumb. People looked at him with Sans’s eyes and in Sans’s presence Papyrus, for some unknown reason, acts as if he knows less. Labradory, Snowdin made of ice-cream, Sun-related question etc. Tho without him he gives hints he knows enough, knows about lab, knows about snow, knows about cosmic things and finally has very smart books and doesn’t want his bro to know he actually is under great pressure while being the king (one of neutral endings). I think about maybe Pap initially holds some sort of naivety for his bro so he wouldn’t feel completely useless and only shouted at for something that wasn’t done. Maybe Pap likes things being explained in short manner (or he likes to give people a chance to ramble about their passions, such as asking Sans about something from space).

My tiny headcanon is that Pap has this as a habit (“Does a lightbulb have a spark of magic inside? Nyeh heh, of course I know how it works, there’s no magic inside but electricity!”). In scenarios where he meets alternative skelebros, this is what he would do to swap Pap or fell Sans if that was appropriate. That could also work as a method to get to know someone. Plus a method to hide his true self behind a slightly wrong impression. The impression that the ut fandom got. You all had been tricked by The Great Papyrus. And you’re lucky he isn’t villain.

A short Valentine's special HC list I’m doing during school, hope the day for you all goes well! <3

Classic Sans valentine Headcanons ! ♡︎♥︎♡︎

He’d do something sweet, of course.

If you started dating earlier that year, it wouldn't be too much. A safe play of flowers and chocolates, and maybe a cute date night. Something he’s seen in movies and knows usually doesn’t fail. (he may have also got help from his brother.)

If you’ve already been dating for a while, almost a year or longer, he’d do something more personal. He would get you the flowers he knows you like, if possible all in your favorite color. You don’t like flowers? Cool. He’ll make sure to get you something else you like.

I feel like he’s a gift basket typa guy. He’s been collecting little stuff here and there for you quite a bit before Valentine’s Day, and some other stuff he knows you need but haven’t taken the time to buy. Miscellaneous items like snacks you like, one or two of your favorite drinks, stuff he knows you’ll enjoy and use. Plus flowers or a stuffed animal of some kind.

He’s not too over the top, but would still show affection (obviously?) as he feels for you, so date night would be something personal instead. It could be a night stargazing with a picnic set up, (cliche, ik, but idc), and he’ll keep hitting you with the,

“oh, babe, you see that shooting star?”

“Sans… This is the 7th time this night.”

“whoops, it was your eyes.” Followed up with a cute, quick kiss.

He could also do something a bit more lazy, something more his speed. With the help of Papyrus’ search for good recipes, he’d make you both dinner. A cute rom-com movie while you both ate the dinner he made, cuddled up under blankets, and wrapped in each other’s embrace for the rest of the night. That would be perfect for him.

He’d also love to take you out to Grillby’s as a date choice. It’s a classic, something familiar that he loves and would take you to often without any rhyme or reason. He’d take you out, order some nice drinks unlike the ketchup he usually orders, and spend the time with you like all the other times he’s loved and enjoyed, but this time it’s just a bit more special.

The holiday overall wouldn’t be too over the top, just as he is, but he would still make it special. He doesn’t see too much point in the holiday since he does like to surprise you now and then with a relaxing night, but knows this holiday is special for humans so he tries for you.

Fell Sans ♡︎♥︎♡︎

Dates all around would be romantic, doesn’t matter if you’ve dated for 2 weeks or 2 years. He’ll take you out to your favorite place (even if it’s really hard to get into) with a big bouquet and a teddy bear of some kind. what can he say? he likes the classic flowers and teddy bear combo, it’s an odd way of showing affection that he favors, he never got to experience that type of basic affection when he was underground in his rough environment.

I don’t feel like he’s a gift basket type of guy, more so just gifts here and there and the classic combo on Valentine’s Day. He just likes buying you stuff anytime he goes out and sees something that reminds him of you, you’re spoiled with enough gifts to not need an entire basket.

Red roses would probably be his first choice of flower. Unless you specifically request a different type of flower, he likes the basic things that he sees in movies that show the standard type of affection in gifts. Perfumes, jewelry, etc. He’s less like Classic Sans in the way that he prefers typical gifts rather than sentimental and personal ones. (not to say that he won't give sentimental gifts, cuz he will).

He’d probably like to end the night in a similar way to Classic, wrapped up with you on the couch and watching cute, ditzy movies that you oogled over until you both fell asleep.

“Sans.. You didn’t have to get me more roses.”

“what? i figured the first 2 bouquets i sent to yer house weren’t enough.”

(i don’t like the fanon version of him, so I will stick to the canon version of him as much as i possibly can.)

This MAN.

Anything you’ve ever wanted on Valentine’s Day will be overtaken by the amount of stuff he does for you. You wake up and this man is already in your house somehow (he made a spare key with your house key a while back LMAO) just making breakfast for you.

“Dude… How did you get in here?”

“HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY. YOU LIKE YOUR EGGS OVER-EASY, RIGHT?”

Yeah. He’d be all over you. There are somehow flowers in every room of your house, neatly trimmed and already in vases full of water. Rose petals are leading down every hallway, which when you tried to explain that they were supposed to lead somewhere special, Usually the bedroom for freaky stuff, He frowned and stated that he didn’t plan on staying in one place the whole day. Shouldn’t everywhere you walk feel special?

Honestly, despite putting flowers everywhere in your house I feel like he’s not a flower guy. He’d probably focus on just spending the WHOLE day together. Going out for a walk, getting coffee somewhere, him making dinner for you later that night. He’s all about that quality time rather than a handful of gifts being shoved at you. He’d rather take you out and buy stuff during the day with you.

I decided to redraw some old crossover fanart from 2018 of underswap and soul eater

This was mostly spurred on due to recently deciding to re watch soul eater while being balls deep in an undertale phase.

I think when I originally drew this I (incorrectly) thought that swap sans and black star and then swap papyrus and soul eater had similar personalities. They very much don’t for the most part, and I assume the off interpretation was due to me only just having stumbled across undertale and it’s various aus at the time. I think in some isolated aspects they might have some similarity, but for the most part are all very different characters. I do however still think that they look super cool in the soul eater outfits so I guess they’re just cosplaying.

If I was to ever actually make a proper crossover au I’d put the characters in as their own selves but altered to fit the world rather than stuffing them into roles that don’t necessarily fit.

I’ve kinda been wanting to revisit this for a few years (at least the last two or three) so I’m glad I finally got around to it.

I've had a thought, mainly about Blue and Horror, and about their shared position as major players among the Star Sanses and Bad Sanses, and the UTMV in general. But at the same time they're also usually a big part of AU crossovers where the multiverse isn't as involved, or is only ever referenced vaguely (for example, its just the original, Fell, Swap, Horror, and Fellswap brothers being in the same household).

What would happen if those different sides of them were combined?

More under the cut!

SO everything is generally the same among the Star Sanses and Bad Sanses (and Error, he's not on either side but he's there lol) BUT Blue and Horror (who i'll be referring to as Axe in this) are the only ones with actual AUs to go back to AKA they're the only true in!codes (Ink and Error being true out!codes; Dream, Nightmare, Killer, Dust, and Cross are considered out!codes bc they're the sole remaining survivors of their respective AUs).

Blue goes back to his AU regularly bc its just regular Underswap and he enjoys it just as much as he enjoys being a Star Sans, but Axe doesn't really want to go back since Horrortale is kinda not good but he feels guilty leaving his Papyrus behind. He sees Nightmare and the gang as family too, but he can't just leave behind his lil bro to that.

And Blue and Axe bond over that; over their weird, uniquely similar situation of still having something to go back to despite having responsibilities and roles so much bigger than their own universes now (let's say that the two groups have formed a truce at this point).

AND THEN you know those stories where different Sanses and Papyruses get transported to the original universe and get stuck there for the forseeable future? That happens, but the Swap Sans and Horror Sans there are Star Sanses Swap and Bad Sanses Horror.

This version of the others (UT, UF, Swap Pap and Horror Pap, maaaybe Fellswap too) are unaware about the wider multiverse. They know and have confirmation that the multiverse exists but they have no knowledge of Ink, Error, the apple twins etc. Blue and Axe kept their brothers completely in the dark about all of that.

Why can't the others just fetch them and return them to their original AUs? Let's say that the thing that caused the accidental transportation made the code of the classic universe corrupt, so that there's no AU hopping for everyone currently there.

I don't know if something like this has already been done, but I thought it would've been an interesting concept to explore! Lemme know if you guys have any thoughts about this!

Of course you can! here's the link to the first amalgram post! I'll just do the Swap and SwapFell brothers for now though.

Blue:

when you go missing he's the first to notice. Both of you text pretty frequently when your not around each other (which is pretty rare in of itself). He visits your home, then your job, then any other areas your known to frequently vist. Getting more and more worried as you remain missing for longer and don't respond to his calls.

He calls Stretch out to help with looking for you, his brother knows a lot of people so they'd both find out pretty soon that you were last seen visiting Undyne.

Blue decides to sneak into Undyne's lab. Though he does think the best, "probably just some medical check up you forgot to tell him about. Nothing big!"

Immediately goes to comforting you when he does find you.

Keeps hugging you even when you try and push him away, apologising for melting over him.

He confronts Undyne he confesses to hiding both yourself and the rest of the amalgamites away.

Blue calls in Alphys to help deal with the situation and re-unite everyone. Then he and Stretch take you back home. He promises to help you in any way.

He tries to do what you want, if you want to find a cure, then he's recruiting Stretch, even a regretful Undyne to the cause. You just want to learn to live again? Yep and he's by your side every step of the way

Stretch:

Immediately suspicious when you just disappear. That's unusual for you. He asks around and finds that a few of his bar friends saw you and Undyne together. Weird, especially cause you don't really know her.

He shoots a text to Undyne asking her where you are. When she starts acting weird, changing subject, ignoring phone calls, asking dumb questions, he gets really suspicious

He goes down into the old lab his father used to work in. Guessing that Undyne still uses it.

Imagine his surprise (and horror) when he finds you, malformed, melting and in constant pain.

He carries you up and confronts Undyne. It's not a confrontation that goes well...

Of course Undyne is heartbroken and riddled with guilt. She had never thought that determination could do something like that.

Stretch keeps you in the lab. Hoping that with him and Undyne's intelligence, a cure could be found quickly.

He grabs things from your home that he knows would comfort you. Blankets, clothes, books, anything that keeps you stable and happy.

Somehow still manages to make time for cuddles.

Black (SF Sans)

boy if you even think you're leaving his eyesight!!!

seriously tho, I can only imagine Black would ever let someone like, euugh, Undyne, if you were in serious trouble.

Likely you had some serious health issues, or maybe you even fell down.

yeah, it doesn't go well. Black genuinely tries to murder Undyne. He takes this not only as a slight against you, but as action against him.

You're under HIS protection, meaning when someone fucks with you, they fuck with him.

Mutt steps in and manages to calm his brother down, pointing out that Undyne may actually be one of the only people to be able to help you.

Black keeps a VERY close eye on you. If you haven't already moved in with him, you are now!

Tasks his brother with keeping you safe when he has to leave.

He was actually apart of the royal scientists before he left it. Like Black, he wouldn't want any science experiment stuff going on and he tries to keep you seperate from it.

We don't always get what we want though, from one reason to another, bad timing, thoughtless decisions, etc. You ended up overdosing from two much determination.

the guilt almost cracks his soul in two. He can't look you in the eye after what happened.

Keeps you hidden away in the true lab, occasionally popping in when he's either really drunk, high, or holding some new serum that's supposed to cure you.

Poor boy already struggled with substance abuse, this just makes it worse.

When he shortcuts in drunk; he just cries, holding your malformed body and crying apologies and begging for forgiveness.

Then he disappears in the morning when he wakes up hungover as hell and realises what he'd done.

Here's most of the cast for that location swap AU I talked about before, now under the title:

Additionally, there's now a mostly-finalized role list.

Runas (The Ruins) -> Toriel A tree-like monster, original ruler of the Underground before being left behind by her people. She tends to seem like a forgetful but kind grandmother.

Wintra (Snowdin) -> Papyrus An arctic rabbit monster, an attention-seeking rebel with crushing self-esteem issues. Loves fashion and Christmas, her fur always feels cold despite living in a desert.

Marshal (Waterfall) -> Undyne A squid monster, and commander of the Underground's military force. He is highly knowledgeable on monster history, and is very quiet and contemplative.

Magmillie (Hotland) -> Alphys A lava monster who pilots a small mech. Very kind and outgoing, but also clumsy. She wants to be helpful, but she tends to accidentally make situations worse. Loves romance novels.

Corinthian (The CORE) -> Mettaton A robotic mercenary created by the previous Royal Scientist, who persistently hunts the protagonist down to self-destructive levels. Its body is composed of many parts, allowing itself to shift its mass and pieces of scrap metal to form weapons.

Scalene (The Last Corridor) -> Sans A jackal-like monster made of glass. The Underground's judge, he watches the protagonist throughout their journey, observing their every move and weighing their sins before they are allowed to meet the ruler.

Castle (New Home) -> Asgore A stone monster that looks like a castle tower, they are the current ruler of the underground. Sentimental of the past, however, they are worried that they're unable to live up to Runas' legacy.

There are some roles that haven't been shown here and that's because I'm still figuring them out lol.
