So, with The Coffin of Andy and Leyley currently sitting at a 98% Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam that surpasses Baldur’s Gate 3’s 96%, DESPITE review bombings by Twitter Freaks, I would like to do two things.

First, I would like to congratulate Nemlei for the successful launch of their game.

Second, I would like to applaud them for sticking to their guns and giving the finger (literally) to the moralist busybodies calling for them to be tossed onto a pyre for making a horror game with *Gasp!* elements and topics that are disturbing, distressing, and unapologetically repulsive.

Likely, a large part of this game’s success isn’t the Incestuous subplot between the main characters, but rather, the sheer, ear-splitting, teeth-grindingly loud autistic screeching coming from Twitter Antis who aren’t even going to play the game to realize that most early adopters were positive about the game due to the fucking WRITING. Not because they’re secretly some sort of degenerate sex pest, but because the narrative of the game was actually captivating to them.

Also, it’s hilarious how, in a horror game…A HORROR GAME…the themes of cannibalism, child murder, plain’ ol’ murder, and satanic rituals are A-OK, but the moment the brother and sister start giving off Flowers in the Attic vibes, THAT’S when the sirens start going off?

Fucking hell, you know it’s bad when SocMed Purity Culture starts trying to reinstate the Hays Code for a fucking horror game
